Rei stood there silently, his mind racing at incredible speeds with the feeling of fear and angst in his mind. He was tempted to re-assure himself, but for drakes sake, he let himself worry and fear more and more.

Still lying in the puddle, Alekssander opened his eyes once again. This time however, they were perfectly focused. "Ugh..." he grunted. He was alive. That he didn't expect. But for some reason, he didn't feel relief at his survival. Instead, all he felt was a dull, mellow satiation. Slowly he stood up and leaned against the alleyway wall, his strength somewhat returned. Taking a look around, he saw Holly, Rei and Drake and immediately he understood what had happenned. "You guys...came..." Alekssander started, but could not finish his sentence. All he could do was look down, feeling ashamed that the others had to rescue him, and yet he was thankful that they had.

Holly felt the shame coming from Alex and touched his arm, "Of course we did. We don't leave anybody behind."
She smiled at him, lifting most of the worry cloud she cast off of Rei and Drake.
"You've helped us, so we're going to help you, even if you hate us for it." She smiled wider.
Drake sighed, his worry almost disappearing completely, "Glad to have you back."

Rei nodded to Alex. "We are here to help, and plus, i don't like leaving outstanding debts..." He said with a smirk. "Without all of you guys, i probably wouldn't be standing here either..." He cringed a little at his own weakness, but then just lifted his head, and put a smile on anyway.

"Well now..." started Alekssander as he slipped on his shades. He couldn't remember a time when he had ever helped out any of them, short of transporting Holly to Cliff's house and killing a few bad guys. But that was beside the fact. "All that matters now that we're all back together and alive." How grim it was even to himself, that he should say that. "But what now? We have no leads as what to do next, we can't track down those who attacked us, and none of us are at 100%, except you, Drake. So, suggestions, anyone?"

"Rest. That should be out number one priority right now. And since, as you pointed out Alex, I'm not injured in any way I'll take first sentry duty. Bak to the base, shall we?" Drake spoke up in an offical tone.
"I second that motion." Holly raised her hand tierdly, her exhaustion showing in her posture and facial expression.
"Some sleep sounds great." She smiled weakly.
In her head, because she knew he'd be listening, Holly added, I'll take second shift, you need some rest too.
Drake hardly moved his head, but it was a comfirmation to Holly's thoughts. He understood everyone's limits, even his.

Rei smirked. "Well, I'm perfectly fine now, So i can go out on guard duty whenever you guys want me too." He said smiling.

Alekssander motioned. "I, on the other hand, still need some rest before I can take a shift. But I'll be glad to take one as soon as I'm recovered. So let's start heading back to base, shall we?"

They went back to the base and everyone went down to the baesment except Drake, who stayed up top to keep watch.
Holly sat down heavily on one of the cots and sighed. She took one of the scrachy blankets and laid down. She huddled down into the warmth of the blanet and sighed, she'd forgotten to take off her boots.
She sat up and slipped off the heavy things, letting them thump to the ground, then laid back down. She breathed heavily and closed her eyes, trying to catch some sleep.
Drake made himself comfortable on the roof, lying invisibly in the shadows with his mind keenly aware of his surroundings. He wouldn't let anyone catch him off gaurd.

Rei sat down on a cot as well, taking off his belt and hanging of off the small spike from the wall. he sat there and stared off into the darkness, slowly starting to drift off to sleep.

Holly finally fell asleep, dreams immediately consuming her mind.
They were like all the other dreams she'd ever had; nightmares really.
The sharp and shining tools, the bright light, the coldness, the murmuring, the scientists, the harsh treatment when she didn't do something right, the grueling training.
And then there was her number, "307....307!...307"
So many voices called to her, some in pain, some in anger, some softly, some with dark meanings hidden behind the three numbers.
Sweat covered Holly's entire body in her sleep, and a line of worry and fear creased her brow. She twisted and turned in the small cot, trying to get away from the horrors her mind invisioned.

Alekssander found his way to a cot, and collapsed onto it. He almost fell immediately asleep, but not before catching a glimpse of the torture chamber. He smirked for a reason known only to himself before sleep took over.

Around dawn Drake slithered inside and kneeled next to Holly. He could see that she was having a nightmare and he whispered in her ear.
"Holly, Holly, wake up."
Holly twisted in her sleep. She could hear her name being called, but it sounded more like the terrible whisperings of the scientists in her dreams.
She suddenly awoke, eyes wide and breathing hard.
"Holly, it's okay. It's just me. It was just a bad dream." Drake cooed, wanting so badly to hold her.
She looked around and sighed, wipping the back of her hand across her wet forehead.
"Alright...Okay....Just a dream...." Her eyes rested on Rei, then Alex, remembering the last part of her nightmare and wishing it never to happen, "I'll go take watch...."
"You sure? I could still watch, I'm not all that tierd." He shrugged though his eyes were bloodshot.
"No, you rest, I need some air." She stood and left the basement, stepping out into the morning air gratefully. She climbed to the roof and watched as the sun rose; the begginings of another day staining the sky.
