Callista grinned. "Yes, that makes things harder. And I can't shift to mist because that's the hardest form to take and I can't even hold a wolf for very long. And wolves are supposed to be easy..." Her grin faded and she frowned again. "I have years to learn though..."

Callista sighed. "It could be. A lot of it depends on others. Like Jazz finding a lifemate and Serena growing up enough to stop with the flying lessons. After all that happens, I won't really have much to do other than study."

Callista smiled. "Nothing really. I want to have a full mastery of my abilities. I just think I want more out of life than to study all the time. I don't want to be the creepy girl in the mists when I'm six hundred."
