Matt stopped when he found a high enough tree... He kept thinking aloud... "Should I hang myself now...Later ot just hand out in the tree?..." He started his climb, it was an easy climb, but as the branches got thinner the tree began to sway. He found the perfect branch for His two options. He slipped a peice of rope from his pocket and tied it to the tree. Just incase thigns go worse. But at the moment all he did was take out the guitar ((That he never actully put down)) and started to play the song he was play earlier.

Asakura looked a little shocked at the mention that Rin lacked an eyeball; the thought of empty sockets, the empty blank staring sockets of the lifeless discarded robots of the lab as they hung on the wall, waiting for life they would never get... She couldn't help but feel distressed for her plight. With such scenery, she needed both eyes, if not three to take it all in, all the beautiful views, the kind people...
Wait...
Internally she ran through her inventory of spare parts. If... if she were to make one, if it were to work... would Rin accept a prosthetic eye, a robotic eye? It would make her closer in form to Asakura, but maybe Rin would see it as an attempt to make her less of... herself? She lifted her eyes to Crystal.
"Sensei... I, I have the parts, the skill, I could make Rin a functioning robotic eye she could use."
She said hesitatedly, voicing her pell-mell thoughts aloud.
"Would it... would it be a good idea to do that, do you think?"
She leaned back, hands in her back pockets as she began to silently count the stars that began to pierce the night sky.
"Oh, oh, wanna see something really cool?"
Asakura pounced on her messenger bag, rifling through and finding her iPod. She checked the song, then flipped her arm over, exposing the circutry at the base of her hand. Carefully taking a small plug out from one of the outputs, she plugged it in to where the headphones normally went and thumbed the 'play' button.
All of a sudden, a slow guitar beat began to play from goodness-knows-where; probably Asakura had a pair of speakers built in... somewhere. The quality was amazing; it sounded like a guitar was playing from within her. She began to sing.
"I don't mind where you come from,
As long as you come to me.
But I don't like illusions, I can't see
Them clearly.
I don't care, no I wouldn't dare
To fix the twist in you.
But you'll show me, eventually,
What you'll do."

Her voice wasn't unpleasant; in fact, in its huskiness and in-tunage, it was soothing, like a cool, rolling ocean wave over feverish brows. The song picked up in pace somewhat, the drums coming in.
"I don't mind, I don't care,
As long as you're you."

((Author's Note: The song is All The Same by Sick Puppies. I think it's pretty fitting. ^^))

Kalli soon realized Matt wasn't going to come back. She fiddled with the outdated game system, feeling lonely. Where were her sisters when she needed them. She finally gave up, tossing the controller across the room. She went outside, taking her sketchbook. She found a trail leading somewhere into the woods and began to walk along it. She wasn't paying attention, soon getting lost.
She found a nice quiet area, nice and big. It was a little garden, with a cherub fountain around the center. It wasn't what she'd expected in the camp, but welcomed it. She found a nice spot behind one of the flower beds, sitting down. She began to sketch the fountain, losing herself in the drawing.

Crystal could see that for a moment the girl was thinking deeply about something; it wasn't until the girl asked about making an eye for Rin did it occur to the staff member that the girl was thinking on what she could do to help Rin. She smiled. "Hm, not sure what the policies are on that; I'll have to get back to you once I check with our head leader on that. I'm hoping they'll say yes though. But just for safetly measures." she said; that was sweet of her to offer to the girl, but she'd have to check with the other staff first.

As Asakura suddenly wanted to show something to her, Crystal turned towards her as teh girl found her Ipod and plugged it into some sort of outlet. As speakers began to play from......somewhere.......the girl began to sing. Her voice was actually very good, and this whole random thing impressed the staff member.

As the song came to a close, whatever sudden happiness that had been building up inside the girl finally just, burst a bit. "That was awesooooome! We're SO making either a talent show night, or Karaoke, or something! It'd be a shame not to!" seh said, pulling out her clipboard and writing down on the paper with much energy.

"OH! And kidnapping Benny's Ipod and getting it to say something sexy, that would scare the crap out of him. Well, not LITERALLY, but you get my point-"

As her cell phone began to ring, she blinked and dropped out of her sugar-expoding state. "Sorry bout interruping you, but let's hope it's who I think it is." she said, pulling out the phone and looking at the caller id. Seeing atht it was indeed the boy spoken about before, she hid her clipboard quickly and picked up the phone. "Hello?"

"Hey, smexy."
"WHERE WERE YOU? And for that matter, the rest of the group?"
"Well, we just got back from getting any last-minute materials; we figured that you and Matt could be their welcome wagon. Say hi to her guys!" the next part was filled with mixed greetings that were very blurred.
"Whatever; Just give me warning next time, ok? I don't wanna look like an idiot in front of them!"
"Now when have I been nice enough to do that, and whenever have you needed help with that?"
Crystal could feel her head almost literally emitting steam. "Grrrrrrr, just get down here already; it's all of our jobs to give the ones that are here a earlybird-only chance to get the camp synopsis and let them ask questions! It's too late for them to take a tour now, so that'll have to wait!""
Alright, we'll be down in about 10 minutes; go ahead and gather everyone up."
"Do I look like a sheep herder to you?! Aren't you guys gonna help?"
"...nope; we've got our hands full as it is. Besides, you'd techinacally have enough body hair to be a scruffy sheep herder, so you fit the bill nicely. Byyye! <3" the phone went off with a click.

Crystal just stared at the phone for a moment. "Do not...." she mumbled to herself, then turned to Asakura. "Sorry about that; that was Benny. Like I said, he likes to poke fun, but since he's our head leader, he does have a administrative side (just doesn't use it much....". The rest of the staff are back too; they went down to town to get whatever we hadn't gotten yet. Why don't we head down to find the others then head down to the campfire area? You'll get a scoop on what camp is gonna be like this summer, and if you've got any questions you can ask everyone there." she said, before standing up and brushing off her clothes.

Rin, whose music was still blasting in her ears, sat down behind one of the trees right next to the road, straying off the path and out of sight of it. Resting her head against it, she sighed, and looked up at the sky. The stars were coming out, it wouldn't be long til they spread across the sky endlessly.

Ken laid down on the bed and looked up at the ceiling; they said something before about a camp summary session tonight, maybe that'd start soon. Good, get everyones mind off of troubles for a bit.

"I wonder if there's any, like, specific rules in the policy about installing genetic mechanisms... I mean, there's probably something about tamer things like piercings, but, really?"
Asakura mused, a tiny smile hovering over her lips as she stared out to the lake. On her iPod, the song switched to a more upbeat kinda techno-ish song, but she unplugged herself and stashed the appliance away in her omni-carrying messenger bag, winding the cord back into her arm. If you paid special attention, especially in the dimmer light, you could see the machinery working steadily beneath the skin, and even more so the tiny lights pulsing away, which was, in all honesty, totally disconcerting. Wirp, wirp, wirp...
"Eh, Karaoke?"
Asakura's eyes drew wide, mouth shrinking.
"Ah- wouldn't it be... cheating if I did? I mean, the whole tune thing is 'cuz my vocal chords are kinda... hooked to the MP3. Sort've. I don't know."
She looked more confused, eyebrows drawing together, but she dismissed it. Watching Crystal on the phone, her face began to dawn with what looked like a bright idea.
"Oooohhh... Sensei, sensei!"
She called once she hung up.
"Forget iPods, I could totally hijack Benny-san's phone, and like, program a message onto it! You know, like,"
She donned a what looked like an attempt at being sultry, and adopted a deep voice,
"Ooh baby, Benny, you know how I love it when you push my buttons..."
PostPosted: Fri Jun 27, 2008 8:26 pm

"Maybe, but there's a big difference between something like an ear pierce and a eye for a human to see out of. I'd have to look deper into that, since it's more complicated." Crystal nodded. "As for the Karaoke thing; we'll think of something musical that'll be fair for everyone. It was just an idea; being our first year with this and all, we'll be working out the kinks as we go along, but it shouldnt interfere with anything."

Crystal noticed that Asakura became excited about something for a moment, and watched as she attempted a nice phrase for Benny's phone.

For some reason, most likely the fact that this sweet girl was so into this, and the fact that the phrase was perfect for a phone, she began laughing uncontrollably, but mananged to talk at hte same time, and she came back to the ground.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA......OH GOD! That's BRILLIANT! PURE BRILLIANCE!" she suddenly laughed hysterically; she so needed that. "Oh hooo, wow, that was so weird hearing that from you. But that was a good impression, which scares me a bit; we're not letting you into a bar." she joked.

"But in all seriousness, we GOTTA do it now; I'll just steal his phone while he's sleeping. God, he'll know I did something to it and would most likely pummel my arse, but MAN, it would be WORTH IT! He'd never guess you were in it anyways; you're too sweet for that, so you're safe. I'll take the heat, cause I know I'll bust out laughing the moment he's like 'WHAT IS THIS, MY PHONE IS TRYING TO SEDUCE ME!' Oh wow, I can't wait now. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeew. Ok Crystal, need to calm yourself or you'll be guilty before you do anything."

Once back to her normal self, she stood up and looked at the starry sky. "Ah, guess we'd better start finding the others; it's getting late and we still gotta give you all the camp summary."

"Hmmm... maybe I should take up an instument, like the guitar... that way, I won't be electronically aided and whatnot. Like, in sporting events, I should just try to run on what's, ah, left of my... wait, no, that won't work..."
Asakura looked deep in thought. Obviously, for her, disguising the whole 'mostly-mecha' thing would be rather difficult, but she planned to stick with it. Most facilities had problems dealing with a superior form of human, so she was used to it. She tapped her feet on the stone in a rhythmic beat, enacting a few steps of what looked like a dance. Upon 'Sensei' bursing out laughing she looked up, shocked. Was her impression really that good? Perhaps she shouldn't be let in a bar... The robot couldn't help but laugh along with Crystal, delighted with the momentary hysterics she had caused.
"Okay, okay, but if you do get in trouble I'll step in..."
Asakura made towards the edge of the stone 'stage', bending her knees, and she took off, her form a mere silhouette against the velvety dark sky, hair whipping up around her like an untamable long cape. She landed neatly on the loamy forest floor below, and looked up for Crystal.

"Hm, well, that's entirely up to you. I know there's at least two guys here who can play guitar, so you're likely to find people to help you with the basics and perhaps a few songs." Crystal answered.

"Ah, no need to worry about me; he can't touch either one of us really. Mainly cause he actually HAS a sense of humor, unlike another camp staff member I can think of." she chuckled to herself; ah, more fun to be had.

As the girl took a leap back into the forest below, Crystal stood back up and followed the path til she saw the girl look back for her. It didn't take too long this time, actually; yay, Crystal was getting faster!

"Eaahh, I dunno how well I'll get on with the guys here, but maybe. I do really wanna learn a musical instrument, I don't mind what."
Asakura shrugged, finger-combing her loosened fringe and metiulously pinning it back, away from her eyes as she waited for her 'sensei' to descend. It didn't take long, so Crystal would probably have to wait a moment whilst Asakura battled with her hair. Once finished, she nodded and grinned.
"Senses of humor are always greatly appreciated. Maybe that's why it keeps being mentioned in lonely hearts ads, y'know?"

The mecha girl snorted, and trotted towards the gloomy shadows of the forest. In hindsight, she dug into her messenger bag and brought out a slim blue flashlight, which focused a bright glow on the tree trunks. Though she herself had almost perfect night-vision, the light was more for her 'human' cover, and for Crystal. Asakura set forth along the trail, light swinging back and forth.
"Hey, sensei..."
The robot chick had stopped a little way from the lightly-beaten track, the torch pointing a little way off, into a dark gully. Following the beam of light, and Asakura's gaze, one could just make out a distant wrecked structure of some sort, encrusted in moss and sporting what looked like two... wings?
"It's a biplane!"
So, technically four. The plane itself was in a bad state; it had most likely collided headlong into the steep walls of the gully, the motor giving out nd dropping the main hull into the hole bellow, the wings still stuck into the walls. Nonetheless, by the way Asakura said it, it was as if she had discovered the lost city of El Dorado. Oh the things she could scavenge, or, better yet, she could fix it! How the scenery would look from such heights! She could barely contain her excitement.

"Hm, it looks like no one's ever going to notice me...And it seems that no one will miss me either..So why am I still sitting here with a rope around my neck and not hanging dead, or purple faced.." He sighed then crawled out to the edge of the branch. "No one's going to save me...Only because no one cares.."

Andy followed Kalli outside, she probably hadn't notice him. he smiled wierly and said. "Nice drawings, your an amazing artist.." He sat down beside her and smiled childeshly at her.

Kalli leaped up, flushing. She stared at him, sitting back down. "Thank you..." she murmured, looking back at her drawing.
PostPosted: Sun Jun 29, 2008 6:43 pm

She super cute...Andy commented in his head, "Oh, don't thank me..I was only being honest. " He tilted his head trying to see what it looked like from diffrent angles. He then pulle dout a smaller version fo ehr pad and a pencil, "Kallie right.." He then starte dto scrawl on the paper.

Finally done, he held it up showing he r ap[icture of her name in fancy letters above her face. "Tada! I hope you like it.."

It was adorable! She smiled, she couldn't be that cute. "I do!" she exclaimed.

Andy smiled his normally childesh smile, but insted it had a chraming tint to it. Like he was born for this. He lightly ripped it out of the book and placed it in her lap. "Merry christmas!" He beamed, he knew it wasn't chirstmas and he kenw she'd probably stare at him strange but hey, what else should he have said.

She giggled, "Merry Christmas!" she rummaged around in her bag, pulling out a pack of candy cigarettes. She put on to her lips and offered him one.
