PMS - oh yes they are biggrin
Okay. I'm getting near the end. I want at least 90,000 for this story as I know this is only my first draft as I have to fat it out a little.
War is coming up.
Also, there is a sub story with my main character and the bad guy. I love them together as they are meant to be but the Gods promised Angeal to another instead.
This ending is going to break my heart.

Awwww. I love/hate endings. They're nearly always sad to write because of the connection you develop to your characters, but they can be the best part of a novel to write since they're so expressive. I wish you luck with it! Though I'm sure you won't need it.

The best part about writing your own book is that you can put people with whoever you want, and it's completely up to you. But people might get mad if they think the characters went better with someone else.
I always love stories where the guy doesn't always get the girl, or it ends tragically. Then it makes me want to write about it, too. Like how in some movies and books, they are so in love, but can't have each other. It makes things more interesting.
Good luck! And... MY you have a lot written! mrgreen I'm such a procrastinator when it comes to my stuff...

Thanks guys! The ending is proving to be hard. I want to go one way but everyone would hate me. I think it would be better the way people want it as I kind of like it anyway.
The bad guy and the good guy won't be able to get together. I've never done such a bittersweet ending. But then again, the good guy's heart really lies with his Mate.
So...after a long distance between my lovers...they are finally coming together again. But soon to be horribly ripped apart near the end by me! *Evil laugh*
I'm just loving how I'm hitting my goals days early. Thank God.
It's only taken me less than two months!

Thanks guys and yes, it feels good and horrible at the same time. My goal is to now finish by the 8ththen start to edit.
I haven't even read a single part for myself yet!!
I sent an update to my friend (the only person I will allow to read it xD ) and she was so angry that I made it seem like my main guy died. Hahaha.
Now...three months later in my story and still no sign of him.
Ladies and Gentlemen, only a chapter or two...or three to go! Wooo!

That is awesome, I am so happy that you're so close to your goal! I've never written a novel before so it will probably take me forever to finish mine. It sounds like you have a lot of it written, and that's good.
Making it seem like one of the main characters died is a good way to build suspense for the reader. And some people don't even realize how much they liked a character until they die (or the reader thinks they died). Lol. Like when I was reading Eragon and one of the characters died... He really did die, unfortunately. I won't say who b/c I don't wanna spoil it for anyone else who may read or be reading that book. It came as a total shock to me, and I literally cried, only realizing how fond I was of that person's character after he died. Lol. So it can be a great tool to get a response from people! wink Clever!

Thanks and yeah, my mate realised how much she loved my bad guy and how much she hated my good guy's fiance haha. It wasn't what I wanted.
So today...I was intent on finishing but my family keep dragging me away saying I write too much and I need a break.
So I am almost there. Almost.
What I have written tonight and yesterday was so emotional. It was sometimes hard to write but the outcome was amazing.
I'm glad my mate had a good response, even though we argued about who my good guy should end up with xD

Thanks Chan! It really isn't that interesting...haha.
Well, I have officially finished and in the stages of editing! I hated writing the epilogue as it seemed pointless so once I've finished editing, I'm going to make it into a chapter and add more on.
I have a bad memory so I forget parts of my stories and some character traits so that all needs correcting. All hard work.
Having a bad memory is bad for a writer haha.
In 59 days I wrote a novel! Started 4th January and ended 3rd March.
94,735 words in 59 days is amazing for me xD

Ah, another reason why to like short books.. less to look over and remember xD; which is good for me lol .. cause my memory is kinda shaky heh

I've decided to scrap the epilogue and instead write another chapter, which will tie up all my loose ends. But I'm going to wait until after I have edited so I have everything sorted first.
Just its been so hard at Sixth Form...making my chair in Design Technology. sad
And I have a birthday meal to attend tomorrow.
And I'm very very happy because my DC Joker top arrived today!! Eeee!

I'm rubbish at cutting straight lines in design...ack!

Definitely going to make it into another chapter but I'n going to write it after I've edited so I can see what needs including.
Reading it, I have quite a few bits to improve on but so far so good. I'm pretty good with puncuation and grammar so that wasn't much of a worry for me.
For Comic Relief on Friday, I'm going for the 80's look! Oh yes, bright blue and black. Legwarmers and everything xD
It's fancy dress time!
