My name is Jude (short for Julian actually!)
My first girlfriend was a crazy vegan, and she got me all informed about eating right and being good to our mother earth... You'd never know by looking at me, I just look like some skinny punk in old jeans and sneakers, but I kept learning about all this environmental damage and thinking maybe even guys like me could do something about where the earth is heading.
I live with my parents. Ha ha ha. I'm 19, just going into college (I failed a year of high school) And I'm learning about random stuff (general arts and sciences) until I figure out what to do with my life.
I don't get many pets since my dad is so allergic to everything, But I have fish, Two goldfish actually, and they're radical fish indeed.
My biggest contribution to the environment is I'm always broke so I don't buy stuff.

Thanks for the invite! I'm sure I'll be pretty active in here.
Uh, about myself...I'm 25, I'm a country girl in a big city, and my big interests are food, drugs (hence the user name), environmental issues, and animal welfare. I'm really big on self sufficiency too. I grow plants, some edible or medicinal, some not; I sew a lot (I suck at it but I'm getting better); and I can't think of anything else. Haha. Well that's me I guess. Cheers!

Guess it is this one's turn. *ahem* Konichi wa minna-sama! Atashi no name wa Isaki desu. Hajimemashi.te! Ju-hachi sai desu. Good afternoon everyone! My name's Isaki. Nice to meet you! I'm 18 and am in NV, USA. I'm a girl. I grew up eating a toon healthier than most kids due to my mom's shopping at Trader Joe's and Wild Oats (now Whole Foods). I just recently turned vegetarian; been that way for about a month now and i'm proud of myself. I will eventually go raw.O_O That means no more ice-cream for me. *gasp~* It's my one 'happy' food, well, that and strawberry milk . . .grr. I do yoga off and on, but I mainly try to stick with the 5 Tibeten Rites, they can prolong your life if you eat well and they balance your 'vortexs' or 'chakaras'. I do crystal therapy, but am not into seering or anything related to that. I try to be as green as possible on the small income this family brings in, but don't we all on here? '^_^ I'm a Japanese fanatic, as you saw my writing. Yes, I am teaching myself it and hope to one day visit there and England, Ireland. I'm a natural writer. I'm currently working on my novel that I started 2 yrs ago now that I have graduated. I love poetry as well. I draw anime and did my own manga series for awhile. I have 5, yes 5 cats heart I dress decora and lolita (both Harajuku fashion styles from Japan) and I'm adorable short (5'2" or 152cm) with looooong(i'm almost sitting on it now) drk brwn hair n straight across bangs. I'm hyper n random as well. Please treat me well! *random tip* UNPLUG YOUR COMP WHEN NOT IN USE- THE ELECTRICITY STILL CIRCULATES THROUGH IT WHICH MAKES YOUR BILL GO UP AS WELL AS WASTE ENERGY. thankies (^0^)/

Hi, I just joined up a few days ago. You can just call me Forest. I live in northern Washington state. I'm older than a lot of people here and married with a 14 year old daughter. We currently have 3 ferrets and are considering getting a kitten for my daughter. My favorite tv shows tend to be cop shows like CSI and Bones. I read a lot, mostly fantasy. My dream house is a dome home with a combination of solar and wind power, I may never get it but I can dream. I am finally talking my husband into the idea of having a garden. He's much more receptive to the idea after all the food scares that have happened in recent years. I work at a large thrift store chain and I really love the concept that I'm helping to keep the things that are donated out of a landfill somewhere. I also like to help people find good deals. Corporate has a store wide recycling policy that I'm trying to help increase the awareness of among my co-workers. I really hate throwing things away when I don't need to. I've been crocheting for a number of years and am very slowly trying to learn to knit. I'd like to eventually learn to spin too. I posted my favorite sweater recycling tutorials in the DIY forum earlier. I also sew and make some of my own jewelry.

Greetings all! And thankeys for the invite.
I'm Gornwen, Wenny, Valerie, Vally, Val, or any variation there of. I'm a fair bit of a crafter (knitting and crocheting mainly). As much of a gardener as one can be living in a dormitory... (I have numerous geraniums and other friends). And a full time student studying anthropology/archaeology, which brings me to my current pet topic - community based archaeology and its impact. As well as the numerous ethical issues that go hand-in-hand with archaeology, which I will argue is very important to caring for the environment.

Hi, my name is Brittany and I'm a milkaholic.... biggrin No, but I am interested in a generally less damaging to the earth kinda life. I'm hoping to find tips here...but, I just moved to Washington state, live within walking distance of EVERYTHING and rarely drive anymore. Like, 10 minutes to downtown, 15 to a grocery store, etc. It is awesome. Um. I haven't found any affordable natural foods kind of places here, and that makes me sad, and we haven't been here long enough for me to garden...
Erm. I'm married, still in school (kinda took a loooong break in there), no kids, two dogs...ballroom dancer! I dunno. I hate introducing myself.

Hey, everyone! I'm Mouzi, and I thought I'd stop by to say hello. ^_^
I try my best to live as "green" a life as I am able...I buy recycled paper and the like. When I'm old enough to have my own house, I'd like it to run off of wind and solar power. But I'm only 16 right now so that's a bit in the future. XD
I'm not exactly the "greenest" person, but I do try my best and strongly believe in the use of renewable energy. 3nodding

Hello, I'm somewhat new.
I'm 22 and always busy with something so I'll be a hit and miss member. I'm currently in college, live at home with my parents and am engaged. I also suffer from multiple cronic illnesses that are always there in some manner to make life more interesting in some way. I'm interested in what I consider going "sensibly green". I feel that the world can update it's self and it's impact on the environment in positive ways without having to be extreme. I have multiple pets(4 fish tanks, 1 cat, 1 rabbit and 2 rats that are out of home at this time) and am a modest liberal living in California "Reagan country".
