He glanced over to a clock on the wall, grumbled something about Rinoa probably still being asleep, and then laid his head down on the table, tapping his fingers against the tabletop.

Zell fell back into critical status, the T-Rex had one hell of a physical attack and right now Zell was not going to be fighting on the Rex's terms.
"Hey Cowboy, here!" Zell stood up and the yellowish aura encircled Irvine, he was in Aura status due to Zell using the Aura Stone.
"Now you either fire that gun or I'll personally join the T-Rex's side to beat your a**!"
( *Laughs* Not really, even if T-Rex's attack is deadly I'm still here, even for just this turn ... someone has to use the Aura Stone. ) )

(Croix, T-Rex has two grapple attacks. first is just a bite-and-back-off. second is the bite-and-eat-your-a**...)
Instead of attempting to scoop the martial artist up in its jaws and swallow him whole, the ancient beast tookk a step back, and whirled around to swing its heavy tail directly toward Zell. If it impacted, the spikey-headed martial artist would be a grease stain across several feet of the training center's soil.

He nodded, and spoke, without lifting his head from the table.
She stayed up all night to study again. She really wants to pass the exams.
Not like he didn't know why. Almost without a doubt, she wanted to prove that she could survive in his world.

He looked up at Seifer, glaring at him. It was like the old days, whenever Seifer issued a challenge. True, they'd been less hostile to each other since Seifer's return, but the old habits never died. Squall never backed down from Seifer.
What's that supposed to mean?

Zell had better shut his mouth or give Irvine's position away. The sharpshooter knew a great deal about animals since he had started hunting a lot a few months ago and learned quite a bit. He knew that predators hunted by sound, smell, and sight. If he fired his gun, then the T-Rex would come after his a** because of the gunpowdery smell and 150DB+ noise Valiant makes when firing.
Irvine chucked a potion at Zell, which would take the loudmouth out of critical. He then lifted Valiant and fired a single shot at the back of the creature's head with his Shotgun Ammo to get it away from Zell. When the bullet launched out of the barrel, Irvine stood up and ran to a different hiding spot.

( Bite and Eat your a** shall be reserved only for characters in the critical status, no fair just getting eaten afterall xd )
"Ooh crap!" Zell attempted to dodge only to fall flat on his a**, the tail missed but he still felt ashamed of that less-then-graceful dodge, now all he needed to do was not get eaten. Luckly Irvine had tossed the potion at him, atleast it was a kind gesture ...
( *Wonders why its always the martial artistest that gets the heat* ... )

(because the martial artist is all up in the enemy's face. i face the same issues with my knight on RO.)
The T-Rexaur roared in pain at the shot to the back of its head. Not extremely damaging, but enough fire put in that exact spot could be quite the nuisance.
It spun around, quickly locating the direction the shot had come from, but its sense of smell drew its attention elsewhere, and the beast turned in the direction of Irvine's current hiding place, the smell of the gunpowder giving the gunslinger away.

No. What do you mean, Seifer? No longer was his voice neutral; cold anger was seeping in now.

Zell jumped up as he noted what was happening and quickly took action. His hands pulled back and then forward again as a blast of Thunder smacked into the side of the T-Rex's back, Zell had cast one of his stocked Thunder spells to lure the beast towards him once more.
"Hey ugly, I'm the one on the menu!"
( Heh, yea guess its all the Martial Artist's fault gonk )

Monty reaches the end of his magazine and realises he has fell behind in his day. He pads off to the showers and washes himself thoroughly. Halfway through his shower the hot water runs out, as many have showered before him this morning. He dresses himself then pads back to his room. He fetches his hat, coat and scarf and carefully adorns himself in the mirror. Lastly he grabs his Trigger Chain weapon. He atatches the chain in the middle of the weapon to the back of his coat which has ties on it especialy for his weapon. With a last stroke of his chin he finaly feels complete enough to strut off to the training center

(Yep. Same thing with Teras Kasi and Auto-aggro monsters. Though Teras Kasi tend to knock the opponent down and kill them with 3 consecutive techniques... ninja )
Irvine didn't notice the creature was staring straight at him since his back was pressed against a tree and he was busy wondering if Zell had died or not. He didn't like the loudmouth, but even Zell was undeserving of being pancaked by some prehistoric creature's tail.
He jumped from behind the tree and fired off several rounds at the T-Rex's head, just now noticing that it had figured out his position a while ago. He strafed, firing as he went.
