Koudo still had a minor distrust for the bird, he didn't trust anyone right away unless they seemed like his sort of people. Such as the case with McKnight when they first met. Koudo was asknig for aid, so he couldn't just say no to him, it would be discriminating because of their only recent past.

"Alright hurry up, the Overlord is a heavy cruiser, it can't take atmospheric strains whilst hovering off the ground for long, which in general means I need to either land it or get it moving in a few minutes. I'll be on the bridge, when you return just take the elevator in the hangar up to the medbay, its the 3rd floor up from there. The hangar door should shut itself, if not just hit the com button in the elevator and let me know." he said as he walked back up the ramp and disappeared.

 Beware...Shadow had regained consciousness, but he couldn't seem to open his eyes. His body felt weird and he thought the floor was moving. This was possibly caused by the medicine Koudo attempted to give him. "It was only fatigue, all I needed was rest..." he thought to himself as he attempted to move his body. The only reaction it gave was a twitch of the finger. "What the hell?" McKnight knew his only option was to continue trying to get up. ...Metaknight has arrived

Koudo was going to pick him up when he saw a slight movement from his finger.
"Wait a minute..."
Koudo activated his com to a small raduis, since the transport was clsoe enoghu, the bird should hear him on his com.
"I think he is alright, bring a medpac down here. I only think he suffered head trauma, he should be okay."
Koudo did feel guilty having the stranger call down a whole transport, but if McKnight was awake, he wouldn't want to leave his ship no matter what. It was hard to get a ship liek the Halberd, war class ships weren't handed out simply like that.
"McKnight? Can you hear me?"
Koudo shook him by the shoulders a bit to get him up or at least open his eyes.
"Come on buddy, wake up or I'll force you. I'm not babysitting your broken ship for you."

As he sat in the bridge he brought up a holographic panel and began to type things in before being connected to a video feed outside. "Come on you two!" his voice boomed over a loudspeaker outside, "The Overlord won't last much longer, and if I have to land it then we're looking at about a Cornerian half hour wait."

"Alright, try to stand back if there is debris on the ground" he said over the com, "The Overlord is a heavy old b*****d." A minute or so later and the bay door had risen up to become level with the ground, and slowly the Overlord lowered itself to the ground. The last half foot or so was a dead drop off, and it sent dust, dirt, and general debris in all directions. Jack walked out of the hangar accompanied by a floating medic droid. "I don't have a staff, and with a ship this large its rather necessary, so I keep droids instead. M-34 here should fix your friend up just fine."

Beware...Shadow somehow managed to get his wings to flap, and as he flew through the air he bumped into the Halberd. This caused enough shock to fully awaken him, which made him fall to the ground. "Damn it, that hurt..." He looked around, and saw the other large ship, which was still not quite the size of the Halberd. "Who's ship is that? And what the hell did you inject me with?!" He directed the question at Koudo as he was glaring at him. ...Metaknight has arrived

Fokkusu knew that the release feature was specific to the Shadow Striker, or at least where it was positioned. He replaced the panel and slowly got back into his ship. He kicked open a secret compartment near the pedals. Inside, there was a small blaster, two tanks of some sort of gas, and a thick arm brace of some sort. He removed the arm bracer and strapped it on. He also took out the tanks, tossing them out of the cockpit.
Fokkusu got out of the cockpit, once again taking it slow because of his injuries. He takes the rubber hose on one of the tanks and connects it to the bracer before inspecting the damage left by the lady. He then turns a knob on the bracer and puts his hand just a little bit above the gash, his palm flat against the ship. After he presses a button on the bracer a small flame comes out of the bottom of the bracer. He slides his hand across sealing the gash.
"It means a lot to me... this ship. Its practically all that I have right now." The weather was calm for now. Dark clouds are closing in from over the mountains probably bringing with them a blizzard. The air was already frigid regardless.
