Artemis quietly snickers to herself as Ares throws his version of a temper tantrum in the small temple. That is, until he threatens Gabrielle. "Oh, no you don't, you good for nothing, scum sucking, vile piece of baccae dung! You touch that girl, and I'll have your head posted on top of the Ephesian city gates, and your entrails and manhood adorning my temple in Amazonia!"

my my artemis. i didnt kno yuu wer so interested in my manhood. but gabrielles going down! an shes already taken if yuu havnt been watchin stare so SUCK IT UP an help me kill her! scream she doesnt do much anyway! just gets in deh way

I agree with Artemis. Calm down Ares, and think about what you're talking about. Just because Xena picked the little bard over you gives no excuse to kill her. And besides. If you kill off Xena's "best friend", where do you think that'll leave you? Her lover? I think not. If we have three Gods against one, Odin doesn't stand a chance. And bringing along your little toy there wouldn't be a bad idea, either. But I'll give you fair warning, Ares. If we don't hurry up and go through with this little plan of ours without killing Gabrielle, I'm going back home to my archers.

What was that about? Gabrielle thought, referring to the current actions performed by the warrior. "That was..." "You- Xena..are you- okay?" To be serious, the kiss didn't really catch her offguard. It was mostly the fact that her friend had been talking to herself and possibly seeing things..and god know what she was actually seeing, and then.. hades, she didn't know what was going on. Furies? -Gabrielle enters Amphipolis in the arms of Joxer, and somehow she managed to let herself get carried for a few feet before she realized who was holding her basically half-clothed body. Gabby scowled his name before hitting him on the head and wriggling to the ground.-
"..Remind me to take a long bath once this is over."
-Gabrielle shuddered and brushed her arms as if to get rid of the cooties as they made their way to Cyrene's tavern. All the while Gabrielle glared at Joxer and made sure she was at least 10 feet away from him.-

id say ish about time for my monthly bath too cool howsabout we- *stops myself befor i get hit. and gets bored of roleplayin pervy characters* *swooshes out my sword and jumps around in circles teh defend amphipolis from xenas army. i back away to deh tavern and trip over a bucket. i roll towards gabby but she steps aside with her ninja skills and i smack inteh deh tavern* heya cyrene! 3nodding ive come teh offer my protection mrgreen

"Cyrene? We're here to warn you. Amphipolis is in a lot of danger. Xena.. She's under a curse, and is back to her warlord days. She's fast approaching with her army for Gods know what. We need to get everyone to safety"

Xena flips out of her carriage towards a horseman next to her. She kicks him off while adjusting herself onto the saddle. Her eyes gaze out onto Amphipolis with the thrill of bloodlust running through her. "Home is where the heart is. In due time I'll rip out every one and prove that for myself."
She unsheathes her sword and lets out a rippling scream and charges into her village followed by her signature warcry. Suddenly she notices glimmers of light from the corner of her eye. She looks over and sees legions of armored soldiers led by the god of war. Ares. Excitment bubbles across her face as she darts her horse to the left, her army following after.
"Ares!" Xena rides up next to the god as his equal and laughs. "Attacking Amphipolis are you? Two great minds think alike." She glances back at his army again. "Honestly though, millions of soldiers for one small peaceful village? It's a bit of an overkill wouldn't you say? Or are you compensating for something?"

*some warriors behind me start gettin bored waitin for me teh stop chattin with xena. they start play sword fightin and go off teh kill a few random villagers*

Xena smiles sarcastically at Ares. "Charitable as always."
She looks back at her new oversized army with fiery frozen eyes. Soldiers stand themselves for battle and smirk back up to Xena. The warrior princess nods at Ares and unsheaths her sword. Sunlight sheens off of it like lightning as a stampede of a yell climbs up her throat. Just as it passes her teeth, everything rushes back into her. A flurry of memories and emotions fill her mind ending with a bright warm light in the shape of a young blonde girl.
Xena eyes blast open with terror of what she had just done. Her yell still echos in her ears. Attack. She looks at Ares, who is basking in pride. As he looks back at her, she elbows him in the face causing him to stumble off his chariot. With a swift flip, she lands behind the reins, and races in front of the soldiers trying to stop them.
