With Aya's help they devised a plan to split away like the soldiers had and hunt them down. Following their prey at a rappid pace the wolf pack of clones and their leader, the real Kana, quickly gained ground on the escaping man. The group began to shout out at the man, different things like "Were coming to get you!" or "Stop running and we will make sure to kill you faster." Kana said these things to possibly scare the man into giving in and letting the shinobi slay him. Within range the wolf pack surround the man on his left, right, and back sides. Trapping him into a cage of terror and destruction. Without missing a beat Kana quickly leaped from behind the man into the air with an extension of his right leg, aiming for a kick to the side of his head or neck. If the attack hit the man it would surely knock him off balance and right to the ground. After Kana recuperated from that he quickly made his way over to the man so he could deal another devastating blow, pulling his arm back behind his head and launching with his full thrusting abilities. After a moment of standing over the man he realized that the soldier was finished. His fist slowly extended so that his fingers could reach out, pulling down the mans eyelids that exposed the glazed look on him that reminded Kana of the way a doll looked. The Kun' Kumo could only pray that this man had no family, so that he would not be taking away some child's, mothers, fathers, and wives loved one. The shinobi gave out a small sigh and thought that maybe under other conditions he and this man could have been good friends. Maybe they would go fishing together or find out that somehow their families knew each other. Not now, and all because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Slowly the auburn haired young an patted the man on the chest and said "It was nice meeting you, sir." Quickly after that he stood upright among the trees and vegetation to strain his neck for Aya. He could see her a bit far off with her new acquaintance and understood he should go and meet that man as well.

[A two and one-eighth liner, Demonic? //Shakes head.//]
Soldier 6 HP: 12 Weapon: Jo As the soldier was hit with the blow, he fell to the ground on his knees, dropping his Jo. He was the last one; the only remaining soldier left. He couldn't find the strength in himself to stand up and continue fighting. The soldier broke down. "Please!" he cried out as tears of frustration and humiliation began to flow. "Please, spare me!" he yelled before burying his head into the swampy ground at the feet of the female shinobi. Spare My Life 1d20 + Persuade [1] = 8

Aya did not hesitate for a moment as the soldier begged to be spared. He had almost killed her own companion. It had been decided in her mind that if her enemy had the strong will to defeat and destroy that so should she. Gently bringing her fingers over the kunai which were hidden under her poncho, Aya tried to keep her movements subtle as she crouched down in front of the soldier. "Its ok," she spoke in a rather placid voice as the man buried his face into the swampy ground at Aya's feet. Placing her hand on his back, she gave him the false sense of security that he would be ok. "Have you found anything peculiar in the ruins?" she asked him in a more gentle voice, as if she were trading his life for information, but the Kunai that her fingers had brushed over was now being held strongly by the grip tape. Once the man would speak, Aya would slit his throat and let him die here in the swamp.

"We haven't explored the ruins at all... We were told to stay at the main gates," The man muffled under his breath as he slowly brought his head up to the girl. She was so young... How could she have killed half the small army? There was no avoiding his death. He accepted it as the kunai slid across his throat and he began to choke on his own blood. His body hit the ground limply as he twitched until he was dead.

Jonu made his way towards Aya and Kana, having defeated the general of the army some distance away. He skillfully managed to keep a leg injury hidden from sight, figuring that the pair had enough on their minds after taking on a large squad. While the general had been quite skilled, it was obvious that he had been quite focused on his soldiers, as he seemed rather distracted as he fought the captain. This caused him to be quite sloppy in both delivering his techniques and dodging the captain's. However, Jonu admired that in him and knew that the leader of the squad of soldiers was merely doing his job when the trio of shinobi attacked. The captain had been observing his own squad while he fought the general, but he was confident in the pair and they were much easier to keep track of than ten frantic soldiers were. As he neared Aya and Kana, Jonu forced a smile through the pain in his leg and raised a hand, gesturing a friendly wave. "My my, the two of yeh never cease to impress me! Yeh didn't completely rely on each other, but yeh didn't fight alone either. Commanding a squad on your own is much more difficult a task and will be required of you when you make it to chuunin, but I believe the two of yeh 'ave it down juss' fine." With that said, Jonu found a sturdy looking piece of rubble to sit on, resting his injury and his fatigued body, deciding to allow Aya and Kana to proceed however they chose, whether it involved exploring the area on their own or asking for his guidance.

"Mhm," Aya said with a little hum and she nodded her head in Jonu's direction. Her blue eyes were still focused on the dead soldier at her feet. The words that Jonu had spoken about commanding their own squad sunk like a anvil in Aya's thoughts even if it looked like it hadn't. The girl was paranoid and worried about Kana's own safety along with her own. Commanding a squad in these conditions would really wreck her brain and throw her off to extreme heights. Rubbing her forehead clear of sweat in the cool air of the swamp, Aya tried not to get caught up in the thoughts of the future and instead focused on what would be done now. Bending over, she picked up the Jo that the man and dropped at her knees and then proceeded to pick up a single small blade that another soldier had been wielding. She felt a little empty and blank now that she and Kana had won the battle against the ten men. The girl felt that she had been a little gruesome with the last kill, but she couldn't guarantee that her strength would've laid him to rest with a single blow.
"Oh," Aya said, as she picked up the shuriken that had been ripped out from a soldier's body. She cleaned it off with the dead man's own fabric before she walked over to Kana. "Let me take care of those cuts," Aya said to Kana as she walked over to him with all the things that she needed from the battle field strapped to her body. Knowing that they had made a slip up in their battle stragedy was something to learn from, so Aya stopped letting the mistake burden her as she healed Kana's wounds with her glowing chakra hands. "All better!" the girl said with a bright smile as she returned to her chipper mood! The next part of their mission was going to be Aya's favorite as she said, "Let's find Ichi!"

Kana pressed through the trees and such to his partners position, where she was interrogating the last Rice country soldier. Stopping dead in his tracks about ten feet away from the girl Kana's eyes opened wide as a crimson wave of blood burst through the threshold that was the mans throat, spilling the life giving liquid across the already damp ground littered with tall grasses and small rocks. Her sweet and cooling voice was intertwined with lies and deceit only moments before as she spoke deceivingly to the hopeful man. The Kun' Kumo's fingers twitched for a brief moment, remembering Aya's smooth hands against his as they shared with the world their willingness to be together. Now her hands were used for a much more sinister purpose, slightly tanned fingers gripping the cold steel of a blood deprived killing weapon and taking the life of this man as he thanked god for a second chance. Kana stutter stepped for a moment towards the girl and remember all of those times of hard training and endless drills.
Just as their mentors had told them, it was to prepare them for battle and real enemies who would hack and slash without remorse. He had always known Aya to be a girl of her word, sweet and never did wrong to anyone. It seemed that he couldn't even fathom that she could somehow lie straight too this mans face, then take back her promise and destroy his future. Somewhere in the back of his mind his conscious whispered that maybe she could use these skills against him, how could he trust this professional killer. Love. Love was the only reason he could come up with. Love for her quirky little habits, her beautiful smile, and most of all her indestructible spirit. So the young man continued towards her, his feet passing through the blood that pooled at the base of the mans lifeless body. He was about to speak before Jonu suddenly appeared from battling the general that watched over the troops. The elders encouraging words wove confidence within Kana, reassuring him for the moment.
He looked to the ground and saw all of the weapons scattered about and decided not to bother with any of them, he already had the only weapon he needed at his side. His hand rested on the sheathed ninja to that reminded him of Ichi. It was the next phase of the mission, and hopefully the point in which they would be able to bring a bit of closure to a certain situation. Aya placed her hands over his wounds and an aura emitted from just underneath them, healing some of the damage dealt from the quad team attack. Kana responded to Aya with a vibrant smile. "Yea, lets find em!" He walked towards the ruins slowly, looking for a good place to star searching. The young man overturned a few average sized rocks, sticking his fingers into the small cracks trying to find a clue. Something slimy crawled onto his fingers and instantly Kana started jerking his arm around so it would fly off.

Aya's movements were anxious and shaky as she too began to flip over rocks and fallen chunks of log that were once built up to be homes. It seemed as if the rubble was endless and it was rather discouraging. Taking the Jo that she had, Aya wedged it underneath a rather large rock in order to pry it up and kick it off. The Jo broke in half once Aya had the chance to kick it. Discarding the weapon, she continued to shift through the debris. Ichi was a statue now... They would have to move things about carefully in order to find him. The girl could only imagine breaking the statue just as they found it amongst the rubble. 'Don't be crushed,' Aya thought to herself, as the image of the already shattered statue flashed in her mind.
"Kana-kun! Uncle Jonu!" Aya called out trying to wave them over to where she was. "These are the markings of the elder tree. I'm sure he's under this rubble somewhere," Aya said with great confidence in her voice as she fond a large plank that had the strange weaving carved into wood that had once been the door frame to the entrance of the elder tree. "I think I see him! I do! I do!" Aya cheered as she jumped up and down, her arm waving in the air for the others to rush over and help her. Trying to calm herself down, Aya took a deep gulp and analyzed the area around Ichi, so that they could pull him out without damaging him.

Ichi's body laid deep with in the rubble. The stone in which he was cast held a blueish grey color unlike any normal stone seen by man. His features and folding of his clothes were rough and jagged as if they were molded by a first time sculptor. The former Kage's facial features were barely readable. His head was slightly tilted downwards at an angle as his body stood tall while his hand was held out to the side as if he had been staring at his own body as it turned to stone.

Just after the incident with the mysterious bug Aya shouted for Jonu and Kana too look at what she had found. After her sweet voice sounded the young mans heart skipped a beat, and he felt happy, sad, and confused all at the same time. The emotion that shown through his face was happiness as he closed in on the petite girl, eying what she had found only a little while after they had began to search. Kana's fingers brushed against the markings of the Elder Tree, and he could almost feel his Sensei's chakra surging through his rough fingertips. "You see him!?" Kana shouted out in axiousness as his eyes followed Aya's flailing arms. Quickly his feet locked up, clinging to the ground as if they had bubblegum on the bottom. Mixed signals ran up and down the shinobi's spinal cord, telling him to rush after the man but also to stand in shock and awe. Finally he pressed through his stiffness and ran up next to Aya, stopping next too her for the first hopeful view he had in a long time.

A smile as big as day spread across Aya's face as she stared at Ichi, their Kage. The tough mission through the Valley, the race against time to stop the rabies from spreading and the out numbered battle against the Oto army had all been triumphed to reach this moment where just below her feet lay Uchiha Ichi in his petrified state. Here in the ruins of a hidden village lie the leader of Shimagakure. "Shima almost as their Kage back," Aya whispered to herself just as Kana ran up to her side as he too looked down with high spirits. Reaching towards Kana, Aya grabbed for his hand as she stood atop the ruins just as the smallest breeze swooped its way down from the treetops that surrounded them to brush softly against her skin. Shinichi had thought their actions to be foolish and too bold for genin. However, the duet had proved the Anbu wrong. "We did it!" Aya shouted in glee as she turned in her excitement to hug Kana. Her arms wrapped around his neck as she jumped on him, lifting her feet off the ground as she squeezed him tightly and smothered him with her own joy. The girl was so happy her eyes were beginning to tear with the heat of the moment! As she let go of Kana and her feet hit the ground, Aya clasped her hands together in a loud clap as she turned to Jonu and bowed professionally to him. "We couldn't have done it without you, Jonu-sensei!" she said with the big proud smile as she raised her head up to the man she barely knew, but had trusted to guide them in the right direction.
