Luniya stretched out her arms as she stood up. She had quite a few drinks and the fight left her exhausted. "Well, I'm off to bed as well. I assume I'm in room 10,"she said nicely. She started walking down the corridor leading to the rooms and took one last look at everyone,"Good night everyone."

Luniya arrived at her room and slowly walked in. She looked around and noticed a window. It had the most beautful view of the dock. It was still raining, but she opened anyway and stuck her hand out. She loved the rain. She closed the window and took off her clothes including her deceased siblings furs. She placed them in a cabinet near the foot of the bed. She layed down on the bed and fell fast asleep.

Where am I? Is this where... Luniya was with all her brothers and sisters, and her parents were leaving. They're still alive? She saw herself running around chasing her siblings. It was a full moon tonight and her mother and father always left at this time to do whatever it was they would do. Suddenly everything turned red, and she saw her father slaughter one her brothers. She reached out to help him but she couldn't move. Her eyes began to swell with tears as she noticed she laying in a puddle of her own blood. She saw her mother clinching on to her oldest brothers neck with her bloodthirsty teeth. Why? Why are you doing this we're your children. She tried to scream for help but her voice was gone.

"No!" Luniya shouted as she jumped out of her sleep almost out of the bed. She was sweating and breathing heavily. Tears were strolling down her eyes but she quickly wiped them away. She looked outside the window. "I'm sorry I couldn't help. I was so weak." she said in a low voice. She wasn't asleep that long because it was still dark. She took out her two brothers and her sisters fur from the cabinet. She sighed and placed them on side of the bed. Then she went back sleep almost with a smile on her face.

Flint heard a muffled shout, opening on eye. A quick glance out the window, and a quick check of the moon told him it was near midnight.
"What in the world..." he mumbled. Sound carried in a silent inn.
He flopped back on the pillow, falling back asleep.

Lin bowed her head politely to the bartender.
"Thank you for that."
She smiled and made her way up the stairs slowly. She took one last glance at the shed door, and then finished going up the stairs. SHe walked down the silent wooden hall of the inn and looked at each door number in turn. She wasn't sure what time it was and she had heard a silent yell coming from room ten, which was Luniya's room.

I hope she is alright. I wonder if she was hiding any wounds at all. I have a strange feeling she was. Hopefully it isn't too serious though.

She stood staring at Luniya's room door, before finally going to the door beside it. It was room eleven, her room as the bartender said. She was just about to unlock it when she noticed it was already unlocked. A strange feeling ran through her body as she turned the handle. She pushed the door open silently and looked inside, she sent a small globe light into the room, it didn't use too much of her power, but she still felt slightly more tired then before. The small globe light circled the room, there wasn't anything inside that she could see.

Lin was slightly relieved by this and walked the rest of the way in, she closed the door behind her, and looked behind it. There was nothing there either. She sent the globe light into every area that something might have been able to hide in, still there was nothing.
"Phew, I was a little worried there, why was the door unlocked though, I was given my key so it should have been locked..."
She sighed and made her way over to her bed. She put her leather pouches inside the chest at the end of the bed after checking it carefully. She then took her armor off, and put that in the chest along with her weapons. She removed all her dirty clothes and replaced them with fresh ones. After this she slipped under the blankets into her bed, and pulled them up, and around her.

"I think I will go to the human capital tomorrow. A nights rest should give me plenty of energy. I will have to change into some more respectable clothing to see the human king though. That won't be too hard, I at least keep some elegant clothes with me, for meeting kings or lords. I completely forgot about them when I was at the minotaur capital though. I hope I didn't offend them looking so gritty from travelling."
She spoke silently to herself, and eventually she closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

Ashe had waited for the last of the group to leave, the walked up towards her room. Unlocking the door, she stepped inside and looked around. "Nothing fancy. Good." She undressed and slid into the bed. She read a few pages of her book and fell asleep.

[Well since I figure everyone has gone to bed now I think I’ll start us off with the next day.]

The sun had started to rise and birds were chirping in the trees surrounding the inn and bar. Sorrow tossed and turned but refused to get up. She was sure the others were waking up soon, or have already gotten up by now. She let out a moan and fell over on her stomach on the floor next to her bed. The sheets were barely coving herself as she heard a knock at her door and the handle slowly turning.

“Huh?”

Sorrow half heartedly looked up at the door, remembering she had forgotten to lock it the night before. She was still half asleep so she couldn’t recognize who it was at first. Her head fell down as she fell back asleep as the door opened all the way.

[This is anyone’s cue to enter. However I think it would be funnier story wise if it was Flint.]

[Funnier story wise, eh?]
----
Flint, who was up earlier than most people, had been on the roof, watching the sun rise.
It struck him that his companions where trying to get to the capital, and it was quite a ways from here, so it would be best if they got moving.
He hopped down onto his balcony, into his room, and, after a quick change, was walking down the hall, trying to get the other people awake.
He stopped at one room, and the light filtering through the large keyhole told him that it was unlocked.
He knocked on it, opening it a crack. "Hey, you awake yet?" he asked casually.

(Hehe good job making it the next morning Demidom. ^^)

Lin slowly opened her eyes, as the sunlight shone onto her face. She moved her arm up in the way, and eventually sat up. She was a morning person, so she found it easy to just get out of bed, and changed for travelling during the day towards the human capital. It was only a few days away, which made things alot easier. She brushed through her hair and quickly took all her things, and packed them. She fixed any clothes that needed fixing, before exiting the room. She yawned as she walked down the hall, she had her usual gear on, she wasn't planning on staying too long. Besides, she didn't want her animal companions feeling so uncomfortable around humans for so long.

As she walked down the hall, she noticed that Flint was standing at the door of one of the rooms. She guessed he must have decided to wake up anyone that was still asleep.
"Morning Flint" she said casually before walking past, and stopping at the top of the stairs.
"I'll see you later maybe, I am not planning on staying too long."
She soon walked down the stairs, and went to the bar handing back the key to her room.
"Thanks for letting us stay the night, and allowing my animal companions to sleep in your shed."

Lin smiled, and soon walked off to the shed. She pushed the door open and was greeted by all four animals. Moondust rubbed against her legs, Valicor nipped at her loose strange of hair, and both Mist, as well as Larith, nudged her in each side with their heads. She chuckled and petted each in turn.
"I hope you all had a good sleep, we will be leaving soon, so I hope you are prepared to travel."
She smiled after speaking in the animal language, then took the animals outside. Valicor flew off after saying goodbye, while the other three stayed with her.
"We'll see Valicor around again. He comes and goes as he pleases. Come on, let's get you guys brushed down, and give you some food."

With that, Lin took Mist, Moondust, and Larith to a nearby lake. She wet them all and brushed them down. Afterwards she gave each their favourite food and let them run around for a while. She was thinking of letting Larith run off, and be free if he wanted to be free. After all, she never carried too much, and a pack mule wasn't much use. She just wanted to travel with Larith for a while, and get him away from other abusive creatures. She would be perfectly happy to keep travelling with him, but like Mist, and Moondust, he wouldn't really have much to do. She sat down on a dried log and watched as all three animals played together. They were happy, and it really was almost like they were wild. Technically they were wild, they could go when ever they wanted to, and knew it as well. But it was their choice to stay.

(Soon the real adventure will begin. ^^)

Ashe woke up with the sun. She got up, stretched, and washed her face. She pulled a comb through her hair, changed, and packed. She put a mint leaf in her mouth to chew and walked out of her room.
"Morn', Flint," she said as she passed him standing in the doorway. Judging from the sent coming from the door, he was waking Sorrow up.
She handed the key to the innkeeper with a thanks and walked outside. The morning air was cool after the storm the night before, and it swirled around her like a young dragon after learning to fly. She moved to the side of the inn and sat down, listening to the sounds of the town waking up.

Luniya yawned in bed. She opened her eyes and was looking out the window. Despite all the rain from last night, it was a beautiful morning. Her wounds healed perfectly with the good nights rest too.

She got dressed and wrapped her sibllings' furs around her waist. She walked out the door and went down the hallway. Flint and Ashe were a couple rooms down at Sorrow's room. "Hey you guys, good morning," she smiled, "Ain't it beautiful?"

She walked down to the bar. "Can I have some cold water please?" she asked happily. She looked around curoiously. She said thank you as the bartender handed her some refreshing water. That Lin is somewhat mysterious. I haven't seen her yet. Maybe she already left. I would have liked to go with her to the humanb capital. She shrugged her shoulders, finished the water and went stand outside. She enjoyed hearing the birds chirp. Her stomach started growling. She hadn't ate for a while. She took out some kind meat and gulped it down with some berries she had in a pouch. She leaned on the wall of the inn and crossed her arms and legs. She started listening to wind with not a care in the world.

(Well, my family is going on a short vacation, about two and half days. So I won't be posting a couple days. But, I'm curious to the adventure start. wink )

Sorrow rolled as the sheet came crashing over her. She sat up, holding the sheets over herself. She looked up slowly to see Flint standing there at the door. Her face turned bright red and she quickly looked away. She looked over at the window and then spoke, a bit embarrassed yet more cheerful than the night before.

“Um… hey. This is kind of awkward. Do you think you could go buy me some clothes?”

Sorrow looked back with a playful wink and looked up at Flint with puppy dog eyes. The sheet fell down slightly and she quickly pulled it back up. She then stood up and walked over to the window and looked out it, waiting for a response from Flint.

"Yeah, sure, I'll see what I can do" Flint said, also slightly red, though not as much as Sorrow.
He started patting down his pant pockets, checking inside them.
"Hm, nothing" he said in a low voice, turning and leaving. And unknowing, rich looking person was standing at the base of the stairs and was relieved of his money pouch as Flint passed.

(Ahh, okies Divine-Beauti. That isn't a problem, I will reply now. When our characters are together, and leave for the human capital, that is the beginning of their adventure, and when they will recieve their quest from the human king. ^-^)

After a while, Lin, Larith, and Mist, all started back towards the inn. Lin wanted something to eat before she started her journey, and she would have to restock on her supplies, as they were getting low. On her way back to the inn, she passed by Ashe, and Luniya.
"Morning Ashe, Luniya."
She bowed her head politely, before entering the inn, and peering out the window.
"Why don't you come in and have some breakfast with me? I am sure you are both hungry. After all, we did have a big day yesterday. Well I will be inside if you want me."
She smiled, and walked over to the bartender, she gave him a gold coin, or two, and grabbed the food that was handed to her.
"Thank you."
She walked back over to an empty table, sat down, and began to eat politely, as she was always taught to.

Luniya followed Lin inside. She was very hungry, and the berries were not too satisfying. "I'll join you. I didn't really get the chance to eat much yesterday." she said with a small laugh. She sat down across from Lin and a plate of food was brought in front of her. She gave the bartender a couple of gold coins. She had no ideda what things were really worth but didn't mind giving the extra. "So you headed to the human capital? Mind if i tag along?" she asked Lin.

Ashe walked back into the inn and paid the innkeeper for her meal, which she took to the table where Lin and Luniya sat. She sat down, looked at the food, and started eating. At Luniya's comment about Lin traveling she looked up.
"Why do you need to go to the human's capital?" she asked. She had visited it once when she was younger with the rest of her family and she remembered that she nearly fainted at the sent of so many humans in one place.

"Yeah I'll be heading there after we eat, and rest up a bit. Hey I don't mind if you guys tag along, after all, we are friends now aren't we?"
She smiled and turned to Ashe after she had spoken.
"Oh, I am actually after a quest that there king is rewarding people for. So far no one has made it back alive, or they quit before they got to their destination. The human king was apparently very upset about so many failed attempts. He is desperate to have the quest completed as soon as possible though. It was only a rumour from back home, but I wanted to escape my house, and family, and go on an adventure. So that is why I am here now."
