I keeping them with their original names except for cloud because i play on my friend's ps so i named him "Kalbon" blaugh because his one profile and his brother's multiple characters are all named Coud.

i always name them decent names i name cloud=Jeb (my nickname) then barret= chris rock tifa=(hot chick i like at the time) aeris=current gf name umm who else yuffie and cait sith= 2 ppl i h8 and vincent and cid= 2 of my best friends and Red XIII = my dogs name

I've tried naming RedXIII and Vincent and some others a few times, but I really don't like naming them.
I keep all their names as they are, except Cloud, no matter how many times I play this game I always call him Cloudkill, me and a friend once named him that and it just stuck, it sounds better too.

i keep the names normal and the same as the ones from the game text. one time i named them this:
Cloud: Tidus
Barret: Auron
Tifa: Tiffany (i don't know why)
Aeris: lauren
then i restarted the game and kept it the unchanged.

usually try to name Tifa something cooler. Tifa doesn’t seem to suite her and I usually name Aeris Scank or stupid b***h.
