Now a female had disarmed a Police men and on top of that made the man grow pale in the face. "Is this the face of the Mayor, I can find only few reasons how she would have been able to pull that bold stunt and her being the mayor is strongly possible." He eagerly tracked her every move watching for any new information she would unknowingly display. "She certainly does show a position of high commanding rank in her actions."

"She is the mayor, but not a very good one. And I'm Miri." The child said, watching him. While she did it she started slipping thoughts into the mind of some of the more sexist policemen. A woman shouldn't command like thta, and certainly one not very old. He raised his gun, aiming at the mayor. Miri didn't tell him to do it, only putting the thought that spurred it on.

His question being answered he now had solid facts that the female was in fact the one called mayor. He was about to question Miri more when at the corner of his vision he saw movement one of the police men was bring his weapon to bear in the direction of the Mayor. "I belive the mayor may have a issue on her hands, it curtainly wouldn't help with calming the crowd down." Dro'ki sighed loudly and crossed his arms. "Will the police man shrug it off or will he kill her?"

That can't happen. Aiva thought. She couldn't let anyone that wasn't part of the rebellion kill the mayor. She thought of telling the demon that was going after her to get the cop, but before she could do anything a shadow from the five she had sent before grabbed the police man from behind. "Those things have the oddest tendency to show up and help exactly when you need them." Terra told her sister. Aiva nodded in agreement, before chuckling.

Ray grinned at the scythes, and at the sight of his neighbor bashing headfirst into the shield, and said "Could you have one of those things run back to the coffee shop and grab the large sword sitting on the wall? It looks like a decoration, but it's mine. Make sure you don't have one of them hand it to me, that would give me away. I'll probably need it!" As soon he he finished, the crowd uproared and the more daring, stupid, or maybe just disoriented, of the protesters charged forward, making a wall of raging citizens. They apparently took the mayor's action as a chance to charge. Obviously, they thought the mayor was one of them, and was either distracting the police, or just causing havoc herself. Unfortunately for the police, a few of them were armed with their tools of trade, though the most dangerous thing they were being attacked with was a man with a monkey-wrench. This was almost a humorous sight. Ray had decided that he didn't want the mayor dying though, so he would take advantage of the charge, and the confusions as to the mayor's identity. If questioned for his action by the mayor, he would have no problem. As for explaining it to himself, killing the mayor serves no purpose this early in the game. They'd likely replace her with a more extreme, military trained, berserker who would make things even more difficult for them. Making it behind the police with a single jump, he landed between the mayor and the police. Luckily the shadow demons stopped the only one who was ready to fire in that direction, so he had a bit of time to deal with the situation. Turning his head to the side, he yelled to her "I won't let them hurt a fellow rights' activist! You've got guts threatening them like that! You ready to get out of here? Or should I take you back to join the main group again?"

The small cat sighed and rolled her eyes at Ray, though she really couldn't be surprised. She slipped through the crowd and walked up to Miri and the strange man who stood there with her. She kept one eye on the crowd, ready to jump in and help if necessary, as she jumped onto Miri's shoulder. Who is this man and what does he want? she thought, knowing that Miri would hear her and she could still look like a normal cat. I don't like the look of him. She glared at him and was tempted to hiss just for the fun of it, but she restrained herself. In her mind, she was going through a list of all the people she had ever met in this town (she had met almost everyone at least once) and she couldn't remember ever seeing him around town before. It made her uneasy to know that a newcomer, who was possible just passing through, seemed to interested in the political affairs of the city.

"A stranger. But I've Seen him before, I think he'll play a part in all of this. he's just not swaying to our side, but I can't be sure." Miri told the cat. "Who will you choose though?" she asked.

Valeda followed not far behind the mayor as she made her way to the commanding officer of the police. She didn't like the atmosphere; there was just too much tension. It was like walking through a room filled with gun powder carrying a lit match. She caught sight of the policeman who was about to shoot Kairina and was reaching for her own gun, but one of the protesters was too quick for her. He jumped in and something stopped the policeman. Even so, she finished drawing her gun from the inside pocket of her coat and kept it in hand as she paced the lines of policemen, always with one eye on Kairina. "Do not attack! Act only in defense. I don't care what your officers say and I don't care what you think. This order is coming from higher up than your officers so follow it or you'll lose your jobs!" She made sure the message was being passed along efficiently before returning to Kairina and the protestor who had jumped in. She stood off to the side as if she were interested in one of the policemen nearby since it was known she was the mayor's advisor, but no one seemed to recognize Kairina.

The cat growled and batted Miri's head with her tail as though she were demanding attention. I don't like it. I don't know why, but I just don't.

Kairina roughly put her hands on her hips and looked at the stranger who got infront of her. For some reason he looked diffrent then the rest of the protesters, not because of his ears and tail. She shook that thought from her head, she had other things to worry about. It seems like no one know's who I am or maybe it is a plot of them pretending not too. "Excure me sir but I have some buisness to do." she said

"I know, but I need to find out which side he's on." Miri replied, picking the cat up from her shoulder and holding her lightly in her arms, scratching her ears.

"Ray, should I keep taunting them? What do you want me to do?" she asked Ray, watching him and the mayor.

Amnity looked at the woman in shock. A fire? The slums? "...No, I won't allow you to live in such a place." The soldier argued. "We will go to your house to get a few things, but after that you are moving in to my apartment, I can't let you live there." She headed to where she she had instructed to go, immediately, she spotted the house with burn marks scattered around it. What kind of person would do such a thing... Amnity tried to open the door, but it seemed to be either jammed or locked. With one strong shove, she opened the door and it made a creaking sound. Helping Laviatar into the house, she asked. "What do you need? I'll carry the things to my apartment."

The cat meowed loudly and wriggled in Miri's arms until she was facing this strange man so she could continue to glare at him. You're right, of course. It would be best to know who he supports. She looked him over once more. But if he doesn't take a side then he should get out of town. Bystanders aren't safe here.

(Sorry I couldn't post much. I've been kinda busy lately. I can only find time during the weekends.)

Kimi has gathered some weapons from her home and put on a hooded cloak. She was watching overhead from a building, quickily scribbling down notes for her to go over later. She sees the mayor stopping the chief of the police and notices that something was stopping another member of the police squad. She could barely see it, but saw a shadow that seemed to look like a monster. She quickly wrote that note down, put her notebook away, and jumped down from the building landing right next to the mayor. "Do you need any help?" she asked Kairina, holding a gun in her hand.
