Of course he wouldn't like to, but he was going to anyways. Because that was his job. For now, anyways.
Miles nodded to her respectively.
"This way please." He said casually, and immediately hated the way he sounded like a tour guide. He was surprised to hear that Ky was going to take the initiative of translating everything to Jun. They didn't even know if he could speak English, and then if he couldn't, what could he offer to Jaydn's group?
Miles proceeded to show them the bottom floor like Jaydn had instructed, giving them the general outline and listening to Kyrin talk along in another tongue. After the first floor he went back to elevator, ready to take the group to the next, while working on his second cigarette.

Nori turned around to Jamie's voice.
"yeah, a lot. "he replied, and smiled a bit sadly. "That's okay though. Change is a good thing." Nori looked down to his feet to see Katzchen rubbing against his legs. He picked it up and it gave a pitiful mew. It must be hungry. Actually, he felt hungry as well. The whole building probably was. "Ah! I forgot to make breakfast for everyone!" His hands moved frantically along with his thoughts. " Um!" He was practically jogging in place at this point, holding onto the kitten as it latched on. "Come with me?" He asked, but was already pulling Jamie along anyways.

Jamie smiled, laughed a little bit, and he put a hand on Nori's shoulder to settle the boy. "Yes, I would like to come along, but you need to calm yourself, Nori, love." He found it adorable that something so small as forgotten breakfast could frazzle Nori so much. He let his arm slip down so that Nori was not so much pulling him as their hands were grazing each other's, but he didn't move, or pull away. With one hand on Nori's shoulder, the other so barely holding on, directly facing the boy, a simple action to calm his nerves looked like so much more, and for both their sakes he was glad they hadn't made it out of the room yet. Jamie wasn't sure he wanted to acknowledge the moment, but he didn't quite want to let it pass either.

Nori slowed his pace when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked over Jamie's face and was surprised by how gentle he was being. "Yeah, ...you're right , sorry." he replied, smiling nervously. He moved his hand to his hair now instead, the other coddling Katzchen. "It's just that everyone's probably waiting on me, and I wanted to try something new this morning. " His voice perked up as he continued talking, and gradually made his way towards the door. "It's a French recipe, so maybe you'll like it!"

Jamie followed Nori a couple of steps behind. "I probably will, I mean, you cook very well, so..." Jamie let his voice trail off. He thought about it, and he was a little eager for food, at least, his oft ignored stomach was. He would do well to eat, shower, and find at least a new pair of jeans. He debated it, and he would likely fit in a pair of Nori's, at least to tide him over until a much needed shopping excursion. But he'd ask later. "May I inquire as to what the recipe would be?" Simply to make small talk.

"Thanks! It's just a hobby..." He replied. Anytime that someone said that they liked his cooking, his small ego elated a bit. He didn't feel as nervous around Jamie as he usually was.
"May I inquire as to what the recipe would be?"
"Haha. Yes, you may."
Nori continued the small talk as they walked, occasionally pulling on the back of his hair and for the most part, didn't stop smiling. He became gradually more comfortable by the time they reached the kitchen, and was expecting to see a few waiting for him. He was surprised however, to see the back of Xavier's firey-red head.
"Xavier?" He blurted out. Nori knew half-consciously that it couldn't be anyone else, but it seemed somewhat unreal for him to pop out of nowhere.

Maddox had come out of Jaydn's office and made to the kitchen with Xavier, trying to lead the way but having a nagging suspicion that Xavier already knew where it was. He told Xavier what had happened in the last few months since the younger man had left. It was odd for Maddox how much Xavier had grown in the short time. Now he was looking up, in the literal sense, to his youngest brother and that thought made Maddox smile to himself.

They entered the kitchen and found no one else there. At first, Maddox was surprised but then considered the time. Maybe they're still sleeping. That would make sense. Maddox had been expecting, if no one else, Nori would be in the kitchen but... It's good. He should rest. He works very hard all the time for all of us.

He went to the cupboards and refridgerator, trying to see what was available that he could make to serve his brother and himself. While he searched, his mind worked per usual, thinking of the tasks that would have to be completed today. He also took a glimpse at a clock, wondering briefly what time it was in Japan. After breakfast, I'll call...

When he heard a voice behind him, he startled, almost dropping the few eggs he had in his hands. Turning to face those who joined them, Maddox smiled sheepishly, "Oh, good morning, Nori. Good morning James." They had caught him off guard. Because he hadn't seen anyone in the kitchen yet, he wasn't expecting anyone to join them so soon. He wondered for a small moment if it would have hurt Nori's feelings that Maddox was making his own meal. What if he thinks I don't like his cooking? He felt as if he should apologize but that had its complications as well. If I apologize and he's not hurt, it will sound like I think he's weak. The worries were crippling his ability to say much of anything else but he did attempt to subtly hide the eggs in his hands.

Seeing the stranger in the room, Jamie immediately retreated into himself. He didn't want to get on anyone's bad side, though Kyrin and Nori seemed confident, Jamie still wasn't certain he would be able to stay. Still, he managed to give Maddox a friendly, charming smile. "Good morning, Maddox, was it?" He thought he might have remembered the newcomer from somewhere, but Jamie had met a lot of people, being in such a position of power with his father's group, so he didn't want to be too certain of himself. Instead, he sat down at the table, and watched how Nori behaved around the man, using that to make his call of whether or not it was safe.

Levi rolled over in bed and used his cell phone to check the time. He had crept back into the building late last night, after stealing away to spend a few hours with his girlfriend. Still, it was a little early for him to be awake. But awake he was, and he pushed himself to his feet, grabbing jeans and a black button down with blue pinstripes, and tossing on black rimmed glasses, not feeling like putting the effort into wearing contacts. Classy, for Levi, at least. He completed his five minute morning routine, and tumbled down to the kitchen, expecting delicious breakfast, courtesy of Nori, who still made Levi question his preconceived notions of gender. But instead, he saw a new face, and an old one, one he had missed greatly. Levi crept up behind Xavier, stopped a little too close, and stood there, waiting for presence behind him to make Xavier uncomfortable. He held a finger to his lips in a gesture for silence, in case anyone was wanting to point out his presence.

After enjoying the ride to the kitchen, Katzchen became overwhelmed by the growing number of strangers. Burying himself in Nori's arm, Katzchen tried to hide from the unknown people. After being rather unsuccessful, Katzchen began trying to climb Nori's arm to higher, and thus safer, ground. Climbing proved to be difficult without assistance, but Katzchen was diligent in his effort. "Meow..."

Kyrin relayed the information that Miles gave in Japanese to Jun. She faltered only once when she couldn’t remember the proper word for something, but played it off like a pro. Once they finished the first floor and got back into the elevator Kyrin had had enough of the smoke in the close quarters. The smell of smoke on Miles and the walking next to him while he smoked was alright, but in the elevator was not good. ”Miles?” She asked, gesturing towards his cigarette, ”Do you mind?” It was the politest possible way for Kyrin to say it.

Once they reached the second floor Kyrin explained to both Jun and Molly, in the appropriate languages, that the next couple floors acted as ‘fake’ office, though they were functional, as well as storage. ”Is there a reason you might like to see them? Or shall we move on to the higher floors? You might find them of more interest then these.” Kyrin once again translated for Jun as well. Afterwards, though, she wondered at the fact that she continued to translate between both languages. With an internal sigh she resigned to let Jaydn know just how much he sucked to not have her just take Jun around alone. At least if I was just with Jun… however forward he is being, then I wouldn’t feel like I had to say everything I say to Jun to Molly… and Miles isn’t a ******** mind reader. I don’t know how this was supposed to work.

Xavier followed with his brother down the halls. He didn’t really need Maddox to explain their whereabouts in the building, as he had a nice set of blueprints in his possession, but he humored Maddox just the same. While Maddox was rummaging the cupboards, Xavier had made himself at home, sitting down on one of the chairs. Xavier pulled out his cell phone and engrossed himself in something on the screen. A twinkle in his mischievous eyes. He hadn’t even heard Nori blurt his name, or Maddox reply. He was so enthralled by his phone that he hadn’t heard James either.

Levi’s presence, however, broke him away from his fun and he turned, not uncomfortable but interested. When he noticed who it was, he leapt from his seat, nearly knocking over the chair and hugged the other man. ”V!” He exclaimed,
”Oh god V! Its good to see you!” He let out a laugh, a completely happy laugh. At this point Xavier noticed the other people in the room, but he was only interested in talking to Levi at the moment.

Levi grinned and hugged Xavier tight. He had missed his friend, too much, while he had been away. "Wonderful to see you too, Xav! S'brought you back to the states?" He had figured Xavier to be away for some time longer, and had been prepping himself in for the long run to have no partner in crime. Levi only seemed thrilled to see his friend again. He released Xavier and sat down next to him at the table, smiling at him.

Nori looked from Xavier to Levi, not sure of what to make of the scene. He was always happy to see other people happy, but it seemed like he was almost an unwelcome guest there. "Oh, good morning Maddox." he replied to the kinder brother's greeting, and noticed he was helping himself in the kitchen. He felt a bit guilty to see people in there waiting for him, especially making Maddox wait so long as to have to start making his own meal. But maybe it wasn't such a bad idea after all, giving the group their own space to make what they wanted. He smiled to Maddox, not wanting to get in his way in the kitchen. He wondered if he should wait till Maddox was finished or whether to ask him help prepare.

Two figures approached the large office building slowly. This was partially because one was practically dragging the other inside by his collar. Passer byers too impolite not to stare, stood in a state of dumbfounded awe; debating internally whether to say something, call the police, or continue walking. Despite the pitiful cries of help from the alleged victim, most of the potential witnesses chose the latter. After all, the strange couple was walking into a very nice establishment. Perhaps the young girl was forcing her lazy, male counterpart to finally get a job. Or perhaps...it was just another divorce settlement.

How boring.

Thrusting a red pump out in front of her just in time, Felix managed to stop the revolving glass door in it's tracks. Readjusting her grip on the already ripping collar, Felix then used the rest of her momentum to sling her unwilling captor through the doorway. Once again, the commotion had called the attention of practically everyone in the large welcome area. Felix, however, paid them no mind. Her boyfriend, was being particularly difficult this morning, and as far as she was concerned, had brought the rough handling upon himself. Taking a brief moment to dust off her polka dotted 50's dress, Felix looked down at her lover, completely sprawled out on the floor like a dead man.

This is just like him! she thought to herself, completely exasperated. Still, she couldn't help, but crack a small smile at the dramatic tantrum this grown man was pulling. Lying there, in his wrinkled, oversized business suit, and moaning as if he had sustained a fatal wound to his knee cap, Felix thought that he looked like the most adorable bum she had ever laid eyes on.

"Come on Eleck,"Felix laughed, extending her hand,"Now that I've dragged you all the way here, will you finally accept your defeat and come willingly?"

Eleck looked up at Felix in contempt."You're evil."he whispered bitterly. Refusing her hand, Eleck slowly began pushing himself off the cold floor. His shoe, however, was quickly caught within his baggy pant leg, causing him to lose his balance and take another hard spill. Instead of tying to get up again, Eleck decided to remain a motionless, crumpled heap. Perhaps if Felix thought he was dead, she would give up trying to make him meet her family dressed in this ridiculous monkey suit.

Biting her lip in order to stifle her laughter, Felix bent over Eleck fondly, and helped him off the floor."Look," she said soothingly, brushing some of the brown curls out of Eleck's face,"I know you're uncomfortable. Hell, I'm getting uncomfortable just seeing you in this getup...,"

Eleck gave a small smile at this acknowledgment.

"But...,"Felix continued, as she began to dust off his shoulders a bit. All thoughts of consoling her boyfriend soon trailed off, as she realized it would take more than a little dusting to save the appearance of the suit. Not only was it too large for his tall, slender frame, but it was also patched and fraying in many areas. Now that she was closer to the material, Felix could also make out the faint smell of alcohol and cigarettes.

"Wh-Where did you get this??"she asked, still sniffing the lapel of his jacket."You don't smoke..."

"I traded clothes with a homeless man outside our apartment."

"Really?"
Felix smirked, foregoing any further effort to make Eleck look presentable."I'm not surprised."

Eleck's small smile widened a bit at his white lie. He had actually ordered the clothes on a bidding site. Having no idea what the proper measurements should be for tailored attire, Eleck simply bid on the cheapest suit that featured the slogan "one size fits all". Although this was not the case, Eleck took a little bit of pleasure out of the annoyance it caused Felix. The fraying sleeves, crooked tie, and horrible smell was just a bonus.

"Well, the important thing is that I'm wearing a suit, isn't it?"

Deciding not to answer that particular question, Felix instead, grasped Eleck's hand and began leading him toward the elevator. The front desk attendant attempted to stop the two briefly, but was soon silenced as Felix quickly punched in the authorization password, and just as swiftly, stepped through the open doors. Thankfully, Eleck followed willing behind, and needed no dragging. After the long struggle through the city streets, Felix's arms were exhausted.

However, there was a much bigger problem at hand. Once the elevator reached the sixteenth floor, Felix had the sole duty of introducing Eleck to her family and co workers. While experiencing a brief loss of sanity a few weeks before the fateful meeting day, Felix had hoped that dressing Eleck in a nice suit would help make him more acceptable by her cousins. She wasn't worried about Xavier, who had already worked with Eleck on countless assignments via the internet. Ky, would most likely be indifferent, if not out right hate, Eleck upon their first meeting. With some forced, one on one time, though, Felix was certain Ky would eventually warm up to him. Jaydn was the main contender to worry about.

Jaydn didn't like anyone.

Just thinking about Jaydn's pessimistic nature, was enough to make Felix's stomach lurch. She knew that he would probably hate Eleck as soon as he acknowledged his existence. Although she considered it a huge accomplishment to get her socially awkward boyfriend inside the building, wearing an actual business suit, she had to admit; Eleck standing there in a black beanie and smelling like an open bar, really made him come off as a local city bum.

Jaydn, did not have a fondness for city bums.

If he completely rejects Eleck, as the mafia's successor, he has the authority to kick him off the property. If he kicks him off the property, then Felix would be forced to retaliate. And if she were forced to retaliate...

Well, I'd eventually have to kill him...Felix thought to herself logically.

I'd have to KILL him!!

Biting her lip again, in order to suppress a cackle, Felix forced herself to try to think seriously. If Jaydn actually died, the world was bound to self destruct due to the sudden lack of assholes. That was just not good for business. She would have to think of another way to go about seeking sweet revenge, since it is completely inevitable that her boyfriend will eventually be thrown into the streets.

Eleck glanced over at Felix, who, while lost in her own thoughts, began twirling her strands of multicolored hair around her fingers until it looked like a miniature serving of pink and white cotton candy. It wasn't until she began mumbling and laughing quietly to herself, that Eleck began to worry a bit. Eleck knew that he wasn't the best with people, but Felix was not going to help the situation any, if she chose today to loose her remaining bits of sanity.

"What're you laughing about?"he asked quietly, as the elevator doors began to open.

"Oh nothing,"Felix replied, as they both stepped out the door and began walking down the hall. Never have been on the sixteenth floor herself, Felix took out her palm pilot, and brought up a map of the building."Our room should be just around that corner,"she pointed, placing her palm pilot back into her red purse.

Eleck followed close behind, growing more and more nervous with each step. He hated meeting new people.
"They're all going to hate me, you know,"

"Most likely,"
Felix replied without skipping a beat.

"Well, as long as that's settled,"Eleck sighed heavily, pulling on his green headphones over his beanie. It was going to be a long day.
