i think the whole movie was a mistake...if they wanted to make the book into a movie, they should have only done one book, maybe two and they would have been more precise. that would also stop the ranting of fellow readers... mrgreen

virgogrl it practically broke my heart to see all of them, the one that really bothered me is that Mr. Poe never coughed!!! (doesn't he kind of resemble Peter Pettigrew from HP?) He's played by the same actor.

paradoxical doctor zoidberg paradoxical Yami - Hikari I haven't seen the movie, now I don't want to, it sounds like the ruined the book..thier clothes look nothing like the book, though I did too like Violet's dress anyways. Plus, WHY THE HELL IS KLAUS TALLER THAN VIOLET!? He looks older, he's supposed to be 12..oh well, book to movies have never been good.. Well he might have been taller, but they had to make sure they had a good actor for the part and not just think about physical appearances. I thought he did a good job with it. Well, it was possible to make Violet seem taller. They could give her a pair of platform shoes to wear that they could cover up with her dress (so that the shoes would seem like normal ones). One of my friends wanted to seem taller than me once in a picture, so she did that. surprised Yes, they could have done that with very little trouble at all, but was it essential? I mean yes, Violet should be taller then Klaus but in my opinion it's not any significant part of the plot or the books, just an added physical feature. At the start of the film Violet is taller than klaus though the actor grew during the making of the film xd

We need more people to get into the books and appreciate how good they are!

I agree, I never would have read the books if I hadn't seen the movie,(but then again I did sleep through half of it rofl )

I sent a complaint about everything they messed up on because by then, I nearly memorized the first three books.... Yeah, the Peter Pettigrew thing freaked me out too! He's really good for the part, though. I mean, they're both a bit twitchy, if you get what I mean?
