Jester shook his head in vain attempts to get the awry feather back into place, it stayed put. Sighing a bit, "Oh another companion? What are you looking to get?" Jester was curious as to how Auze would react to a new companion, having none of his own Jester was still quite fascinated by them.
"And where does one go to find one exactly?" Jester knew very little about companions. Stretching his wings slightly wanting to take to the air shortly, he looked over at Twilla. "Where will we be off to now then?"

"I got Auze from a breeder... I suppose we need to decide which companion and which breeder to go to." She mused. "I'd still love an alcyon... But you guys were both right, a skurri would be more practical."She stretched out each leg, then each wing.

"Well then lets go find you a Skurri companion!" Jester was ready to take off, but didn't know the way. Taking off and circling his tree once, he called to Twilla, "Um where exactly does one go?"
It felt wonderful to be airborne again, Jester always had the urge to sing when he took his first flight around his tree. But today it was just a dull ache to hum, so he did to himself quietly.

"I think there is a fellow... Brushfyre? I cannot remember his name off hand, but I remember it being whispered." Twilla waited for Auze to scurry back into her pack before she launched after Jester. "From what I hear, he is pretty stingy with his skurri, though. It will certainly take some bartering."

Feeling wonderful Jester hooted out to Twilla, "I shall add my song to the barter for your Skurri m'lady!" he flew in a sort of mid air bow, it was rather awkward but he executed it pretty well.
Jester puffed his feathers to look a bit larger as he flew with mock powerful wing flaps, in attempts to show off a bit to Twilla. But they came across as more comical then anything else.

The gatherer emitted a soft chuckle as she lifted into the air. Her sack was filled with things she had been collecting and storing in her willow. It consisted of a variety of vegetation, fungi, nuts, and a few dead mus. All of these things she planned on using for barter and she would offer future services if needed.
She flew gracefully alongside the silly bard, whom she admired greatly despite his poor voice. "Hopefully we will have an easy time persuading him!"
OOC: Think we ought to try and get in touch with the owner of the skurri keeper? We could see about setting up a thread or something for that purpose?

Enjoying the conversation as they flew off, Jester was smiling. "Does he often evade pursuit?" Jester jokingly questioned her.
Rolling over mid flight in attempts to show off once again, he caught a glimpse of her pack. It looked very full, and yet didn't seem to weigh her down, he admired her for her strength both physical and mental.
Wondering aloud "Should I get a companion? I don't know if I really have a need for one. I would think it would be fun if I ever became a famous bard! To have a mus to help in my storytelling and er...singing!" Jester fluffed slightly, as he realized he was talking out loud.
OOC: Yea that would be fun!

"A parus might do you well?" Twilla suggested as she paced alongside the bard. "You know... A little songbird, to sing along? It would be quite cute, I am sure. They are usually pretty good at singing and mimicry, especially if you get one from a reputable breeder."

Jester blinked a bit, then realized he was wondering outloud. "Hehe," Jester chuckled, "I nearly thought you could read my mind Twilla. But yes perhaps a Parus would due nicely. Yet I don't thine one is necessary for me just yet, I'm not exactly the most reputable bard you know." Jester wistfully stated.
Flying on, keeping one eye out for lunch, to quell the slight rumble in his stomach.

"Just because you aren't reputable yet doesn't mean it wouldn't come in handy. Just think! You could train it to que you, just in case you forget lines or something." Twilla said encouragingly. "Which reminds me, we still have to get you to the Theatre for a performance!"

Jester nodded, Twilla was right a Parus was a perfect companion for a bard. He was already fantasizing about what color he'd get staring off into space.
Backing off slightly to allow Twilla to lead him to the particular skurri keeper she wished to patron. "Lead on!" he called to her chipperly.
OOC: if we cant get ahold of a skurri keeper im sure we can just flub it.

"Not far to his territory, now... He can be a bit... Different, or so I've heard. He is very strict with the number of skurri he will part with." Twilla advised Jester quietly and flew along just as silent.

Jester was excited he had never been to a keeper before, and it intrigued him.
He wondered if he'd be allowed to ask some questions, "Twilla, do you think he'll be adverse to me asking questions?" Jester stated.

Jester got got quiet, as Twilla did. He wasn't exactly sure what to expect from the Keeper. He'd only met one other in his life, and it was a very foggy memory from when he was just a fledgeling.
"He's a bit what?" Jester asked in naught but a whisper.
