Cyane looked at Ephiny and smiled to let her know things were okay,she was in fact going to talk to the other girl when Aphrodite put her arms around both of them. At the mention of babies she nearly fell over and her mouth opened wide,"waaah?"was all that came out of it. Felling a blush enter her cheeks she looked over to Ephiny to see what she was making of the entire thing.'No she dosn't like me in the same way I like her theres no way'Cyane berated herself and her head hung low in depression.

Ephiny was relieved to see Cyane actually attempt to talk to her. Things were going to be all right she had thought, until Aphrodite, being her usual insufferable self, opened her mouth. Babies?!? She saw Cyane shocked expression. At that moment, Ephiny didn't know if she was more relieved or crestfallen.
She couldn't help but think how beautiful their baby would be if they ever decided to have one. He or she would be beautiful like Cyane, she wouldn't have it any other way.
She felt an acute disappointment now knowing that Cyane didn't want that with her. You can't always get what you want in life, she thought miserably. She pinched her nose; Aphrodite really did mess everything up. She looked back up at the blushing blond, trying to convey with her eyes all the love and pain she now felt.
"Aphrodite, I need to have a word with Cyane about serious matters," she said to the Goddess. "Could the babies wait?" she asked coolly.

"Humm we haven't really talked about it and I think its about time we did"Cyane replied in aggreement to Ephiny,"So please Aphrodite great goddess of love give us time"she was trying her hardest to flatter the goddess in hopes that she would be at ease for now and leave them alone.
Babies wow that would be interesting to say the least but how would that be possible and who would be the one to carry thier child? There was one thing that would not be questioned and that was the child's beauty, Her eyes and Ephiny's beautifull curly blond hair. Jus the thought of what the child would look like brought a smile to Cyan's face,a smile she could not nor did she want to hide.
Cyane snapped out of her thoughts and looked at the two then slowly reached foward and took Ephiny's hand in her own,holding it loosly in her grip as she waited to see if her apeasement had worked or if the goddess of love would still interfear.

Ephiny happily tangled her fingers with Cyane's. She gave a small smile as she gazed at the other woman. She had just known her for a short time but in that short time, Cyane had really gotten under her skin. She couldn't believe she was already comtemplating having children with the blonde when they weren't even in a relationship. She decided she was being overly emotional as she was near her time of the month.
Every time she tried to pull away, Cyane just drew her in closer. Apparently, we were quite intimate the night of the party, she thought, though she didn't exactly know what she did with Cyane. Ephiny decided to keep that particular question for another time.
She fought to clear her head. She was the Regent and had first and foremost duties to her Amazon nation. She would deal with personal issues once and only once the important things were dealt with.
She smiled despite herself as she squeezed Cyane's hand gently. She didn't know what she was going to do but one thing was for certain, she was most definitely infatuated with the blonde.

Since the goddess of love was distracted Cyane looked at Ephiny and motioned for her to follow before she sneakily and quitly wondered off into the woods.
Once they had come to a clearing empty of life she turned and looked at the regent. "Look Ephiny I know what your probly thinking,how can I lead my sisters and still find love, You probly think that you can have only one or the other but your wrong you can have both and you desrve to have both" Cyane said passiontly as she seemingly read the other womans mind. "You desrve and need both or else your life will be devoid of happyness and the others will feel it too" she blushed before leaning foward to initiate a kiss.

Ephiny hesitantly followed Cyane into the woods and into a small clearing. It was absolutely not the time to be talking about their love life when something clearly happened in the village. Despite her misgiving, she patiently listened to Cyane. She smiled as she heard the heartfelt words.
Her eyes widened when Cyane leaned forward. She sighed and turned her face so that the blonde kissed her cheek. She didn't want to the blonde to think she was rebuffing her advances. She took her hands.
"Cyane, I want to have both and I promise you that I am open to both," she stroked the other woman's hands. "But right now, I need to do what's right for our sisters. We will have time to figure this out. Just not at this present moment." Her hands trailed up to cup the other woman face. She leaned foward, kissed her forehead then encased her in an intimate hug.
"Believe me when I say that I want nothing more than to kiss you right now," she whispered into Cyane's blonde hair. "But we should be heading back. Later, I promise."

When her lips touched the other girls cheek she pulled awa with a sad look in her eyes. She felt Ephiny take her hands and her heart sank,'Does she not feel the same way I do?' ran throught her mind but the regent answered it as if she could read her thoughts.
Cyane leaned her head on Ephiny's shoulder and accepted the hug but she sadness never left her eyes. She nodded to show her understanding before she spoke"yes I know I'm sorry that I was selfish I should think about our sisters first,thats why I'm here".
Cyane stepped away and turned to face the way they came,"Lets go back"she looked over her shoulder at the regent and there was a smile playing apon her lips and a light agian in her eyes.

Ephiny smiled in relief when she saw Cyane's mischievous expression. She didn't know what the blonde was planning but she knew it was going to be good. For the first time since her husband's death, she felt giddy and almost like a love-struck teenager. Not to mention, Cyane was a woman. Ephiny had no problems entering a lesbian relationship. Actually, the anticipation of what was to come was literally killing her.
She hurried and followed the blonde back to the village. Upon arrival, the scene was chaotic. Many of her warriors were frolicking on the ground while many were unabashedly flirting with each other. Growling, she stomped her way to Aphrodite.
"You have to stop this haze thing now!" Ephiny demanded, gesturing wildly to the purple haze. Why her and Cyane were immune to it, she did not know or particularly care at this point.

Cyane knew to give the other girl time, time for her to get things together and time for her feelings to grow. She had been dead a long time and so waiting a little longer was no big deal to cyane.
She took Ephiny's hand and all the way back to the village she enjoyed the walk,swinging thier arms and talking pleasently when they got back to the village both of them were in shock. The entire village was consumed by lust thanks to the goddess of loves power.
There were woman all over eachother flirting,kissing or nearly having sex right out in public. "Wow was there a party that I wasn't invited to?"she joked but quickly grew serous at the look the regant had on her face. She followed Ephiny over to Aphrodite and tried hard not to laugh as she listened to the womans tirade at the goddess and what she was doing.

Ephiny sighed in frustration as the goddess of love ignored her demands. She hated doing this and it felt as if she was betraying her friend but she really had no choice.
"Don't you need to go check up on Xena and Gabrielle? You know, to see how things are progressing along?" she asked sweetly. She glanced at Cyane for backup.
The sooner she gets out of here, the sooner I can deal with what I really want to sort out, she thought. She hoped that Gabrielle would come visit soon because she could really use a break.

Cyane put up her hands,"Hey I have a temple I have to build for Artemis"she said before walking over to the clearing to see how the work was going.
So far everything was progressing well accept for the fact that most of the amazons were now more interested in each other then building the temple. She could feel the vain in her forhead throb and she put her hand over it to hopefully make it stop.
"Alright thats enought if we don't finish this temple soon Artemis will be very angry so get back to work!"she yelled and they quickly snapped out of the love spell going back to building the temple of Artemis like they were suposed to.

Aphrodite rolled her eyes and snapped her fingers once. Immediately, the haze lifted and the Amazons returned to normal.
"Look doll", she said, with no particular direction at either Ephiny or Cyane, "I'm here to help with your little problem, but if my help isn't appreciated, I can take it elsewhere.... Like, the spa for instance. Or a beach full of hot surfers. Or- Hey! Are you two listening to me?"

"Thanks, but no thanks," Ephiny smiled as Aphrodite interrupted her thoughts. "I don't think we'll be needing any help." She gazed fondly at Cyane who was directing the Amazons around. "I think Gabs and Xena need more help than us."

Cyane was too busy building the temple that she didn't even notice the Aphrodite was talking. "What did you say I wasn't listening?"she said over her shoulder before smiling at Ephiny and winking. It would take a while but eventualy the temple would be done and they would be able to open it to all of thier sisters for worship. Her only fear was that Artimis would not be pleased by it
