Nashi felt bad for him. "I'm sorry. I didnt mean to..." she trailed off, but decided to cheer him up. "Want to try flying together now? Maybe if we put our strength together we can do it!"

He reared his head back a bit in surprise, "Us? Fly? Could we really..Wouldn't we hurt ourselves?"

He went quite for a moment, and then finally said, "I trust you. I am just not sure my wings are strong enough. I mean...I just got them. When I was given my grown form for a short while they also had to give me the wings but they went away when I went back to normal..What if these wings now have no memory for it?"

"The same thing happened to me, although when my old ones fell off these grew immediately." She smiled. "Anyway, I guess we'll find out, wont we?" She saw the hesitant look in his eyes, and spoke in a mysterious voice. "Listen, I care about you, and will make sure no harm comes to you. This is our chance! We could be soaring over the sea..." her eyes shifted to the blue water to their south, then back to the black foal. "Just link yourself to me... put all of your strength in my direction, and I will do the same." She closed her eyes, magic eminating from her. Ooc| Sorry if Nashi is being a bit... odd. She gets into these moods sometimes sweatdrop

His ears leaned back for a moment before he seemed to make up his mind. What could happen? Though he was a little unnerved about how she spoke. Just a little but not enough to be scared of her or anything, "Alright.." He consented.

Nashi felt his mind in the corner of her conciosness. Their strength combined, and she opened her eyes. "We're one," she said finally, "now lets try this. On three we run and leap into the air, and flap our wings as hard as we possibly can. Try using the same teqnique as before."
She started counting, bracing herself to run. "One... two... three!" She ran at top speed, hooves beating against the grassy earth. Hopefully Sun would have enough courage to follow.

He was running with her, as best as he could. He didn't count with her outloud he did it mentally. His wing spread out and his body close to hers. Though at a crucial moment he stumbled and tumbled down to the ground with a loud yelp sound. "YOOOWW!"

"Sun!" She screamed as she lept into the air. A look of pure terror for her friend slammed onto her face just as Mia and Fauste rounded the corner of the barn.
"Nashi, no!" Mia yelled, but it was too late. Nashi spread her wings, and gained altitude for a few seconds.
I'm really doing it! she thought. But soon she was crashing toward the ground.
At the point of impact, a searing pain swept through her. "No..."
Mia ran to her Changeling, tears streaming down her face. "Oh, Nashi. What were you thinking?" She held Nashi close. "Is Sunflash alright?" she asked Fauste without turning to her. She rocked back and fourth, shaking in fear for her Nashi's life. Ooc| Wow. That was powerful. eek

Fauste was soon kneeling by Sunflash, checking him over muttering soft calming words to him in elven tongue, though the changeling didn't quite comprehend. It was the tone that mattered. She didn't look or sound angry but concerned, "Oh Flash...You scared us both out of our wits just then. You and Nashi both." She gently chided after she found that he was okay. "Yeah, he's good Mia, how's Nashi?"
Sunflash shakily stood up now, "S..Sorry." He cautiously trotted over with Fauste at his side.

Mia looked up now. "Not good. I cant get her to say a word, and she doesnt seem concious. Oh god..." Another wave of tears swept over her. But then, a small memory prodded at her mind. She perked up, happiness enveloping her and wiping away any sadness that had been residing in her before. The Faerie Potion.
"Fauste, will you watch Nashi for a moment? I need to go retrieve something from the house." She stood and ran up the path, returning with a small flask in hand.
"Its from the Faeries," was her only explination. She quickly administered the potion. "Lets hope this works," she said hopefully.
Moments passed. Aezora, Nashi's winged guardian, had woken from her nap and appeared at her side. Aaliyah was nowhere to be seen. But finally, as if by magic, Nashi opened her bright green eyes.
An image of Sunflash raced through Mias mind in a frenzy of emotions. But when Nashi saw sunflash awake and well, she calmed down.
Mia smiled, now crying in joy. "I gave you the faerie potion, sweetie." Nashi nodded. "I knew it would come in handy."
Turning her gaze towards Mia, Nashi projected an image of Sunflash sleeping in her room. "You want him to stay the night?" Mia asked. Nashi nodded.

Fauste laughed and Sunflash looked shocked but remained silent.
"We will stay the night if it is alright with Mia." She looked to Mia quietly, but not really expectantly. She knew that Mia was doing something, "If not tonight then sometime soon we can arrange a sleep over of sorts."

"Its alright as long as Nashi understands she's not getting out of a punishment..." She looked at Nashi, who nodded and immediately ran into her stall.
"I have an extra cushion I can put into Nashi's stall, and a guestroom for you. Or you could just pick him up tomarrow, if you'd rather." She smiled happily.

She chuckled, and shrugged, "Been a while since I slept in another place other than the wild out doors. Sleeping over could be fun."
Sunflash seemed happy and gave Fauste's side a nuzzle. He trotted after Nashi though a bit shyly not sure if he should wait or not.

Nashi was laying on her cushion, awaiting his arrival.
"There you are. I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am... you know... for the... thing." She yawned and layed her head on her hooves, unable to control the sleep which pulled at her eyelids.
