((GAH?! WHATS WITH THE DUDE MY CHARACTER ASKED A QUESTION NOT POSTING?! scream scream Fine... forget him.))

Alice didn't get an answer out of him immediately, which is what she wanted, so she ran ahead. She totally ditched Korsu, from what she could tell, and stopped running. There were crowds on the streets again, and plenty of people she could steal from. She had already stolen enough for one day, but she continued to anyway. She went around picking people's pockets aimlessly. She had at least five hundred dollars and slid into an ally to count all the money she had stolen that day. Taking out her already over over-stuffed wallet; well not hers per-say, but she stole it from the woman who tried to get her to go back to her parents; anyways, she removed all the money from it, and also removed her hat. Removing the pocky from a hidden pocket(one of many), she care full counted out the ones tens and twenties. There were even three hundreds.
"920, 940, 960, 980, 990, 1100..." She finished the counting of the still huge wad of cash in her hand. "Holy crap! How the hell did I steal so much? This is more than my bounty by 50%!" She had counted out over 3,000 dollars. She had never stolen more than 1,000 dollars, even on a good day.
"I guess I won't have to steal for a while."
"Ohhh? A thief? Oh, so sad, you already have an orange earring. Well, you're about to get a red one, and then either executed, or put in the mines for the rest of your long life ahead." A male voice resonated down the ally. Alice looked up, only to see a guard, who had already caught her once before.
"s**t. It's the old geezer." Susan whispered, the guard was probably the oldest man that was a guard. Although, he was stationed in the town that was next to this one, if Alice remembered correctly.
"Ahh! It's you!" The old guard said, "The youngin'!! You little..." He didn't finish his sentence, due to the fact that Alice had shoved all the money into her hat, and stood up, reaching into her pocket. The old man knew that she had a pocket knife, "Oh, no you don't!" He ran forward, just as Alice wanted.
"Hey, I have a question for you. Where's your old armor. That armor broke three of my knives. I really wanted to tear it apart." Alice said matter-a-factly.
"What makes you think that you could of?" He asked, slowing his pace a bit
"This." Alice said, punching the brick wall next her, it crumbling to pieces afterward.
"How that hell did you do that?" He asked, stopping completely.
"It was easy, wanna see it again?"
"...Not really. If you really are that strong, then why had you been caught so many times?"
"Inexperience, and the fact that I found this strength earlier today..." Alice paused, "Yea, that pretty much sums it up."
"Holy cows." The old man said, making 'cow' plural.
"I wanna see a holy cow!!" Alice said, raising her hand as if she was in a classroom. She smiled, signaling that she had the upper hand.
"Not really what I meant, but ok. You are the cow, and I'm gonna make the holes!" He charged once again, and Alice flicked open her pocket knife. Holding it out in front of her like a sword, she ran it through his stomach. He crumpled over to his knees, pulling out the knife as he went.
"Don't worry you won't die, it'll just be kinda hard for you to eat with that hole in your stomach!" She jumped over him, but jumping on his back, hard. She flew upwards, and landed on a rooftop.

((longer than I expected... but ok... whee ))

Noelle grinned. "I doubt they'd like a thief waiting on them anyways."

Monja grinned and bowed before Noelle. "After you, milady," he said jokingly. Standing up again, he asked, "So what's so great that we're leaving the city for it?" He looked around the tavern. Most people had begun averting their eyes from his direction as soon as he entered. "Let's spare them the eye candy." Monja walked back outside, holding the way open for Noelle.

Noelle grinned and walked out. "Well, I don't want to stay in one place too long, my family might find me." She said. She felt her earing. "Do you think green is a good color for me?" She asked.

Monja shrugged. "That depends. What shade of green?" Monja was never good at answering personal questions, so he tended to stall until the person forgot about the original inquiry. "If you mean the earing, then no. These things are a mark of infamy, not a fashion statement," he said. It was his usual joking voice, but with an air of wisdom about it. "Is anyone else coming?"

Darque had ended up falling into a light doze but awoke from it instantly as he heard Noelle and Wall leave. "Ah!" He groaned, standing back up and stretching, he walked out of the tavern and heard the very last thing Wall had said. "I'm coming of course!" He said, walking over to them, his own green earring catching the sun as it started going down.

Alice continued to run around on the roof tops, making little pitter patter noises on them. She stopped as she saw a familiar head. She jumped down, and landed in front of Darque with a loud thud and a small indent on the ground. Okay, maybe not so small. About one and a half feet in diameter.
"I still don't know you're name." She said as she regained her balance. She smiled at Darque, and stuck out a hand for a handshake.

"Ah!" Darque cried, startled. He almost lost his own balance from stepping back from the surprise of it all, but he didn't. He glanced over at Wall and Noelle then back to Alice. "And i still think people need to learn how to greet people properly, without almost giving them heart attacks every time you decide to pop in and say hi." Darque replied, straightening up from his balance catching position.

"Is there something wrong with the way I came into this scene?" Alice asked, disgusted. She put down her hand for the handshake, and stepped out of the small crater she had made in the concrete road.

((hope that there is concrete... You never gave a time period, so... yea))

(( Omg, i totally missed the part about the hand shake on your last post! xd ))

"Besides the fact that i'm old and my heart is weak? No, none." Darque said, then took a look at the ground. "Oh, and then there's also that." Darque said, pointing at the large crater in the ground.

"It's not like I can help that, the roof I jumped off has that too." Alice wiped off her shorts, and then her arms. She removed her hat, and took some more pocky out of it.
"Want some?" She asked, offering her hat to Darque and the others that were around. "Just tell me your name already!" She protested, still holding up the hat.

Monja watched the banter between these two, finding it endlessly amusing. Unfortunately, it had to end for this adventure to be on its way. He stood between the two, smiling. "As much as I'd love to watch you two aruge like an old married couple all day, I think we should get going. It's never smart for us to stay in one place for too long," he said, switching eye contact between the two with each word.

Darque bristled, he did not like that old married couple comment. "Fine, lets go." Darque mumbled and started walking to the only entrance in town he knew of. Then he sighed and decided to actually tell Alice his name, he stopped walking and turned around facing Alice and said, "This is going to ruin all my fun but, i'm Darquewillow Elventhing." Then quickly added, "Don't you dare say anything about it." Knowing that she might start laughing and teasing him about it, and a grown man did not need little girls teasing him!

"Where are we going then, Darquewillow?" Alice snickered. She didn't really care where they went, but she did want to know where they were going. She stepped ahead of Darque, preventing him from waling further, and hopefully forcing him to answer her question.
