They watched Cunning go, and waved goodbye sadly. Then, Nekozawa grinned and Beelzenef waved, seeing Shay enter. "Welcome back, Bob-chan." Beelzenef patted the seat where Cunning-chan had been sitting. "Happy Thanksgiving to you. Though I must admit, it is not my favorite holiday. I am a vegetarian. How is your holiday, Bob-chan?"

Smiling softly, she walks over and takes the offered seat. She was hoping that the veil over her face was enought to keep her composed enought to chat as she steadied her voice from shaking or cracking. She opened her mouth and spoke softly; "A vegitarian, hmm?? I would never be able to do that again. I believed in it strongely those two years I was a vegitarian, but-.....my holiday?? Same as every year......"

He noticed the veil, and found himself wondering why. It seemed rather odd to him, seeing the happy Bob-chan in a dark veil. Then again... he was the one in a cloak with a candelabra. Beelzenef however clasped part of the veil between hsi paws, and lifted it, to peek at her face. "Is that sameness a good thing, a bad thing, or neither?"

Shay lifted her red puffy and wet eyes from Beelzenef to Nekozawa. Without the protection of the veil, she was exposed. It took all her will power not to weep again.
Her left hand moved up to her soft pink lips and she spoke past her thumb and index finger, which were the only fingers covering her mouth. "Good and bad.....Both, depending on how you look at things. Its been exactly 2 years as of today that I gave up my dream after my grandma died...."

Nekozawa watched her carefully, and Beelzenef kissed her cheek, and wrapped himself around her arm. "I'm sorry to hear that. Never give up on dreams. They are visions from the portal of the night as to what should be. What was... is... your dream?"

The clock made it's musical sound, to say that it was the dinner hour. Nekozawa sighed. "I have to get home, to see Kirimi and make sure that her holiday is well. I promised. But I will be back shortly, I promise you. I will talk to you then, and we will clear up those tears." Beelzenef kissed her nose, and Nekozawa vanished through the door and back into his shadows.

They are visions from the portal of the night as to what should be. What was... is... your dream?" Shay looked down at Beelzenef as he hugged her arm and smiled lop sidedly at him. She spoke to Nekozawa, but couldn't bring herself to look up at his face to do so. "I-.....wished of singing beside the great singers of our time. Josh Groban, Andrea Bocheli and the celtic women.....but singing is not a realistic job. After my last tour across europe, I kept my promice to her.....and went back to school to learn then teach instead of sing...."

Shay chuckled softly and nodded as he left. She remained in the dark room and leaned back against the coutch to rest for a moment, alone. She hummed softly to herself.

Shay nodded and pulled the veil over her head again since Beelzenef removed it earlier. "yes.....and how are you, Cunning...??"

Nekozawa peeked again through the door. All was safe and dark. He moved back to sit on the couch beside his designators and friends. "Hello again, Shay-chan. Sorry I had to leave you. And Welcome back, Cunning-chan." Beelzenef waved to each. "Singing..." Nekozawa put his candelabra back on the table, and the fire on its tips flickered for a moment. "Who cares about real careers, Shay-chan. I don't. My love of darkness isn't proper behavior, but I keep it because it is part of myself, and I love it. Your singing may not be the 'proper' career, but if it is part of you, and you love it..." he nodded, and Beelzenef backed him up with a second nod.

Shay looked at Nekozawa and Beelzenef. They were right of course....but a promice is still a promice. "I know.....but-....I made a promice and I can't break it no matter what I do. It was her last dying wish that I give up singing to teach english in high school. Its not a bad career though.....isn't it??"

They both shook their heads. "You're missing a solution. You don't have to give up singing, to teach. Why can't you do both?" Beelzenef turned to face her completely, and one ear flopped down over his face.

Both...she looked up slowly from her hands to Beelzenef and Nekozawa then back to Beelzenef. His ear flopped down over his face was adorable, and she couldn't help but giggle cutely.
The thought of still being able to do both, sing and keep her promice to teach, was appealing. It was down right ingenius!! She slowly pulled the veil off her head and looked at Nekozawa with no show of emotion at first, but then she gave a very bright, very happy and warn smile that would melt the heart of jack frost himself.
Without thinking, she careingly stroked the top of Beelzenef's head between his ears then leaned in to Nekozawa to kiss his nose happily. "I can do both.....singing is my passion, its my drug. Not to sing would mean death for me. Your right, Neko-kun.....why can't I do both?....I never even thought of the possibility of both...."

"Glad we could help. Fufufufufufufufu..fufu....fu...fu..." Nekozawa realized that he had just been kissed. He blushed deeply and retreated as far back as possible into his hood. First Renge, and now Shay. He supposed he'd have to get used to it. While he regained himself enough to pop back out of his fabric shell, Beelzenef tried to entertain shay by wiggling and patting her head, and then hugging her wrist.
