The longest a feti ever lived outside of the womb without the umbilica cord was .02 seconds.

Y'all seem to enjoy the same sentences over and over. "Its wrong" and "its alive even if it isn't fully formed and all"

Please spare the repetition. Please come up with something original. We all know these reasons you speak. We all do. I frankly am sick of them. Repeating the same things over and over does not go and make you win something. The most that folks could do is sew your mouths shut. Also the whole protesting with picket signs, trying to show dead fetuses to the masses? You call pro-choicers sick? Take a look at those signs!

I am sorry if this got angry but I am so tired of hearing every pro-lifer saying the same thing! Please take a step back and examine yourselves! Pro-choicers, like me, can see your point of view, but we have our own thoughts. Every pro-lifer I have met seems to want to try and force their views down my throat. These debates on this very touchy subject is getting tedious and I am so very sorry but this is also get ridiculous! Bicker at each other I am sure we will continue to do, but can we stop, take a look around, and see where this subject is taking us? Its making us hate each other for views on the rights to be bestowed on some cells that can be either human or not! You want hate to spread? Stop, take a look, and accept we all see things differently but I do not see what pointing out the same sentences reworded over and over and over and fighting and ripping into each other!

Pro-choicers I am on your cases too. You same the same stuff as well. I myself am pro-choice, but I am also sick of seeing y'all go on and on about how its just a bunch of cells, why care? And the same statistics and on and on about the law, which in this case, is a very vague thing.

Please, both sides, SHUT UP!

I am sorry if any or all of you are so very offended by me, but I have been trapped wherever I go by discussion after debate, after fight on this friggen statement! I need to have my say on this. And now i have. I ask you do not ban me from this guild, I doubt I will find any Christian guild who would take me in based on my own beliefs and my own questions. But if this post so offends and belongs not, delete it, this is going in my journal either way.

So, do you want to propose an argument or are you just here to rant?

Maybe, depending on semantics. Depends on what you consider a fetus. A preemie? Hardly. Some of those live outside the womb for like, 80 years.

Yet, before they are born they are feti, down to the last second. The seoncd they are out, they are human beings. Odd twisting of language and legality, I think.

Also entirely irrelevant to anything.

When does life begin? Is it when the heart starts beating (18 days from conception)? Is it when the baby is born? Is it during conception? Life begins when God breathes His breath of life into an embryo. Otherwise Jeremiah 20:17 wouldn't have said "Because He slew me not from the womb..." Why would Jeremiah say that if he was, in fact, alive in his mother's womb?

But Be Respectful

PostPosted: Fri Aug 15, 2008 11:28 pm

I'm a proud Pro-lifer and the following website is why. It proves the old additive "a picture says a thousand words", for it has pictures of what abortion actually does to the "fetus". Those of you who are pro-Choice (i.e. lordstar and godslayer) really need to give this site a shot. However, I do advise viewer discretion. Naturally these pictures tend to get a bit gruesome. So gruesome and upsetting (at least for me) in fact, that I had to turn it off before it ended to stop from crying.

I hope this link saves a few unborn lives.

I've worked in the field and I know how abortion works
My stance has not changed and will not change

Did you even look at the website?

If you still believe the way you do, well that's your belief. But I would say that at least agree that parents have to be notified of the intentions before the girl can have an abortion EXCEPT in extreme cases. I mean for pete's sake we have to have parental permission for an asprin.

I will never agree parents should be notified
I am very happy that Kaiser locks all such information as not availble even by request of parents...good luck even with a court order

its time to wise up
youth do not need to be protected (reasoning behind parental permission for things like asprin)

youth need to be empowered
anyone else noticed how todays youth have been royaly screwed in just about every way we could think of

still paying for the sins of our fathers
our world rotting out from under us
and what are we to do about all this?
if we are to expect any change we must act
but where to start?

Youth do need to be protected. Why? Cause they're not ready for what really goes on in the world. Elememtary/Middle School kids shouldn't be dealing with grown up descisions such as an abortion alone. This is yet another example of the government telling parents that they can't decide for themselves how to parent their own kids.

Youth are not prepared for the real world because they are protected to the point they can not function.

so not only did you not answer my question you seem to have some sort of other issue about government and parenting

lets talk about this for bit
how does the government tell parents they can't decide how to parent their kids?
