((I was actually playing with the idea of meeting Bateau, but I still need to talk to Eva about it. Off we go! XD
For the sake of timelyness, I'm going to say that Conny already taught the kits how to swim.))
Conundrum nodded. "It's possible he ended up across the ocean, or at least near it. My sister lives on some islands. Perhaps, if once we've searched the shorelines and still haven't found...Serrin, was it? Yes, if we haven't found him, we could try to swim to the islands she lives on. It would be a long journey, but the kits could go on my back." Conundrum was extremely excited about visiting his sister and her tribe...and his nieces and nephews! Not to mention his brother-in-law. He sitll needed to make his final judgement on that fellow...
"Well? Does that sound acceptable to everyone?" In Conny's opinion, if there was going to be such a big undertaking as this, then the whole tribe should get to have their say, either yay or ney. If it was ney, they would be given fair chance to explain their choice, but if the rest of the tribe voted yay, then the ney vote would either stay back and gaurd the lands or keep their peace and come with. "Yey or ney?"

Kiati jumped up excitedly. "Yay!" she exclaimed. Then she quieted down and waited for everyone else's responses.

Thinking for a moment, Nero looked to the kits. "I do not think that this place has a formal name, no. We could think of one though, or let the Gods guide us in such."
As the tribe was called over, he came to Conundrum's side to hear what he had to say. Quite an undertaking... Going to see a new Tribe. "I would not mind, travelling to such a place. The kits are small enough to ride on one's back if they get tired."

((well I was thinking I would have missed a lot since I've been gone. But it doesn't seem to have gone very far. xp ))
Kisa listened intently to what everyone was saying. She felt a bit confused, but soon realized that they were going to search for Kera's brother. Her eyes lit up at the thought of exploring a new places. She was thankful she had at least started learning to swim if they were going to the ocean.
Orion sat patiently, lightly swishing his tail. He nodded in response to all that was said but kept silent.

Hiro waited to go into the caves, but then noticed that no one was leading the way. Apparently, their plans had changed. He had been so caught up in thinking about adventuring the caves that he had missed Kera's story. He now listened carefully to what was going on and realized the Kera's brother was missing, and they had to go find him. 'Oh...so that's what was wrong..' he thought to himself. Missing a brother was a much bigger problem than Hiro had expected, and though he might not admit it out loud, he was glad to help. And going to the ocean would be an adventure also!
He looked up at Nero and Conundrum and said quite matter-of-factly, "I can swim fine and I don't need to be carried."
((Hmm...so...when are they going to grow up? XD))

As Hiro spoke Nero looked to the kit, giving him a slight nod. "Of course. I merely am suggesting if you do get tired. It may be a long swim. I've never been there however... Conundrum would know better."
He gave a smile to the kit before looking to the rest. It was a bit of a confusing situation, going from one thing to the next... But the tribe was still in its early stages.

((We can say they're grown up now, since it's going sooooo slowly...xD;; --SKIP--))
It had been decided that they would start to the ocean at dawn. Suring the time of resting, the kits had grown up, much to Conundrum's surprise. But, that would make it easier to swim...
Conundrum paced around the clearing, his earrings jingling softly as he walked. Everyone else was asleep, but poor Conny had insomnia, and he was worrying. What if something went wrong? What if the journey was too long for someone and there was nowhere to rest? What would they do?

Orion watch quietly as the elder paced back and forth, seeming quite worried. Orion debated whether or not to get up and sit with Conundrum. He had been awake for a while now. He was almost always up for a good part of the night. Orion sighed as he stretched a bit and slowly stood up. Silently he made his way to Conundrum. Standing a few feet from the elder, Orion bowed and then spoke.
"Things are going quite well so far."
Kisa slept soundly, cuddled against the now grown Hiro. She twitched a little as she dreamed.

Ever the early riser, Nero was awake without fail. He stood and stretched for a moment before looking around. Conundrum was up... And Orion approached him. Careful not to wake any of the others, he padded over to the two.
With the kits grown now, it meant less worries. Adults could still drown on such a trip... But it was less likely now. Everyone was strong and healthy, and as far as he knew, none were with kits.

Hiro was having good dreams, thinking of adventure and fun things. The dangers of such a trip had never crossed his mind, and even if it had, he would do anything to protect Kisa, or anyone else for that matter. He had become strong and he was prepared for anything. He opened his eyes for a moment to look at Kisa sleeping soundly beside him. He smiled at her and nuzzled her before he closed his eyes once more, wanting a few more moments of sleep curled up next to her.

Kiati lazily rolled over. Still most the way asleep, she unconsciously buried her face into the side of the fox next to her. (who happened to be Lirance) But still she stayed asleep.

Conundrum snapped out of his worries to smile at Orion softly.
"Yes, but we've barely begun. Talking about crossing an ocean is one thing, actually doing it is another thing entirely,"
Conundrum looked around the field, smiling more brightly now. This was his family now, and they would make it through alright. He knew they would.
"Nero, do you think we will be safe?"
