Ganondorf grunted. "I hope most Hylians aren't quite like that. I don't care to slow down." In reality it was being forced to get angry that he wasn't too pleased about at the moment, but that was something he could keep to himself.
Anyhow, they were on top of the walls. The gates were open, the drawbrige down. Ganondorf's black warhorse was the first to reach it, its heavy footfalls echoing across the moat and into the city. People were beginning to gather, but they were somewhat quiet for a crowd of their size. Apparently the effect was working full-power. Ganondorf tipped his head back slightly, giving himself the angle of looking down upon everyone about him.
He wondered where, exactly, the royalty was. He'd most definately like to meet the princess in person, more out of curiosity than anything, and he'd expected to meet her as he crossed the bridge. He was doing so now, and there was no sign of her...

Zelda watched the flickering torchlights of the approaching army, her expression remote. Ever since her unexplained reappearance in her chambers, she'd felt removed from everything happening around her, almost as though she was reading about it in one of her beloved dusty tomes.
"It's time, Your Highness," said a voice behind her. She turned to face a pale, frightened-looking page, "They're crossing the bridge."
Normally she would have given him a reassuring smile. Instead she looked impassively at him for a moment, then glanced back through the window at the flickering parade of lights. "Such melodrama," she whispered, almost to herself.

Kohana took a glimpse at Bowie and sighed.
"I... oh, so he returns..." she grumbled, taking a dive into the water and hiding under the bridge.

As Link returned, the soldiers were already crossing the drawbridge, "Guess we're not getting in that way," he commented then noticed the Zora was missing, "Where did Kohana go?" Bowie simply shrugged as Link rehooked up his horse. Link looked around and after a moment, noticed some vines growing on the side of the wall, "You guys feel like climbing?"

Arryl frowned slightly. She'd expected someone to greet them, show them where they might stay during the ceremonies. She expected most would camp outside of town, but the select guard would probably stay near Ganondorf, wherever he was going to stay.
Either way, the streets weren't quite as loud as it seemed they should have been. Celebration was not really what they were doing, and they couldn't be blamed; an army was not a cause for celebration. It was a cause for fear, and that was what Ganondorf wanted.
Sighing, Arryl turned her eyes back up the main road, half-expecting to see someone coming around at that very minute.

It took about fifteen minutes for Link and his friends to climb the wall and manage their way back down. Most of the army was already inside the town and Gustave's house was on the other side of the parade, "I guess thar's nothing left to do but watch the festivities."
Out of the corner of her eye, Artemis watched as three boys scaled their way down the town's wall. Two of the boy's she recognized from the incident only twenty minutes before. The third she did not recognize, but he looked similar to the boy she had deemed 'The stupid one.'

"Zelda? What are you still doing here? You were supposed to go down and meet them!"
Zelda turned to her father calmly. "Apologies, Father." She started to walk past him, but he stopped her.
"You look beautiful, child," he said, gently touching the side of her face.
"Thank you, Father," she murmured, "But as you said, I must go and greet our guests."
The King looked shaken, but before he could respond, she was past him, and walking out into the great hall. Several guards pushed the enormous doors open for her, revealing a truly enormous man on an proportionally gigantic horse. He looked eerily familiar. Feeling oddly cold, almost as though she really was made out of porcelain, she spoke. "Welcome, Lord Gannondorf."
Inarrie craned her neck, trying to get a look at the Princess from behind Gannondorf's considerable bulk, but it was impossible. She sighed and patted her horse on the neck. At least the door had finally been answered.

Kia silently scorned the Princess.
~That should be me!~ she thought, angrily. In any case, Kia tried to accept the fact that the man she adored was getting married to another woman. Glancing around at the rest of the elite guard, she saw some similar disgraced looks. The reception into the City wasn't what any of them had expected.
Sila glanced around in fear at the rest of the Elite guard. If any of them learned her true reason for joining Ganondorf, she wouldn't survive to make things right. Not that she wanted to...
"Come on, Horse!" she snapped, slapping her horse across his neck. The stallion had stopped suddenly and started nosing at Inariie's horse. The beast whinnied and shied to the side.
"Stop it!" she exclaimed. Blushing, she glanced around at the rest of the guard who had complete control of their horses.
Kohana slipped through a water vent to the side of the drawbridge that lead into the city. On the other side, she blended in with the few citizens who were watching with interest.
"So that's who is going to marry the other princess..." she said to herself, glancing at Ganondorf.

As the crowds cleared, Bowie began making his way towards home, "Come on, our house is this way."
"Go on without me," Link said, staring at the end of the parade. If he had to make unnecessary stops, he sure as hell was going to at least catch the Princess's reaction.. With an entire parade going through the gate, it was not hard for Link to make his way past the guards unnoticed. As soon as the gaurds were out of sight, Link squeezed past the insulted Gerudos and ran out to the side. Link spotted a large tree and began to climb. As he reached the top, the doors had just begun to open. There In the doorway, was the Princess, dressed as elegantly as he expected a Princess to. But he was not focusing to hard on her clothing, it was her face he was interested in. 'Where have I seen that face before?'Link thought as he squinted his eyes to see. He would have liked to have gotten closer, but he knew that if he did not hurry, the gaurds would surely trap him in.

((sorry, I had ter go. But here's a post!))
For a split, hopefully unnoticeable moment, Ganondorf lost his composure. This girl was... was something else. Graceful, beautiful, and... and absolutely unreadable. No pleasure, no displeasure.
Regaining his train of thought and sweeping himself off his horse, he lowered himself to one knee before her. "Thank you for your hospitality," he replied before standing again. "I hope we will not upset your peace too terribly." Double meaning. Apologies for the army and a sort of threat.

"You go ahead, Bowie..." Gustave said, and ran after Link, but soon lost him in the crowd. (Besides, Gustave isn't as nimble as his friend!) "Great..." He muttered, and tried to look for Link... "Hm... Is that her...?" Gustave said, trying to look for the princess.
"Hey, Gus!" Gustave heard his brother say.
"Bowie! Ah... Hm..." Gustave took a moment to think, and quickly said, "Think you can squeeze through the crowd...? This might be your only time to see the princess up close."
"Oooo... Okay!" Bowie said, and quickly darted into the crowd...

A Link descended from the tree, he immediately spotted a younger boy in the courtyard, 'What the hell is he doing? Doe that kid want to get caught by the gaurds?,' Link thought as he dashed towards the Kid, first checking to make sure the coast was clear.
