"Well, lets head to the south door, that seems like the best bet. Just keep your guard up, whatever escaped these cylinders are either not friendly or are mad. Those claw marks don't look too friendly." Perrian said. "Well, should we examine these cylinders now or head to the south? I'd suggest start walking, but if you want to examine these I won't protest."

“Good then lets get going, I doubt these cylinders will be able to tell us anything more of use.” Veet walks over to the south door and presses the button to make it open, but not before letting everyone form up behind her. She wanted to make sure if something vaulted from the door she would be the first one to be hit. "Get ready everybody." She waits for the door to open.

when you open the door to the south the not so nice monster does jump out and attack. It looks much like the other rooms monster, just much bigger and much meaner. It seems to have no concerns for its life. It just goes berserk and attacks.
It counts as a True Golem.
Since she is right in front the monster attacks Veet. It uses its SA on tobar. It will shield bash someone if it is attacked.

Veet looks up at the mighty beast before her and simply utters the comment. “We can take.” She then crouches into her defensive stance and covers herself with her mighty shield of spikes to cushion the blow. She knew there was no point in attacking it. Even if they were to do a team up attack they wouldn’t get through its thick armored skin.

The monster takes 10 damage from the shield bash and 10 more from the scythe. Unfotunetly it seems like perrian’s spell is not of much use against the bio modified monstrosity and deals only 2 damage. Tobar’s attack yealds no damage but the follow up smash deals 5. In total it takes 27 damage.
Round end Monster 33/60
Tobar takes 12 damage from the SA and 12 more damage from shield bash totaling 24 damage. After regeneration of 4 his round end damage is 20
It attacks Veet Roll(3d4)-6: 4,4,2,-6 Total:4 for 4 damage. Your combat die is a 4 so you take no damage.
Not wanting to get hit by the shield again the monster moves around Veet and attacks Djanni. Seeing Veet as a threat id does slap her with its tail as it passes by, and then moves itself into a defensive poster.
Attack: Djanni SA: Veet Action: guard

((Can I Shield Bash it because it is using a special ability on me or does it have to be physiclly attacking me? It seems like I would be able to smack its tail.
On a side note could someone please use stunning blow on it so we may do damage to it this round. Perrain you would probably be the best one to do this as your spell are least effective attack we can do on this guy that still gets through its armor.))

Unfortunately the “hitting with the tail” is for descriptive purposes only. Shield bash only works on normal attacks. (You may want to invest in defender.)
Tobar you made the same mistake as me, meteor is based of combat die not attack. So the damage is 12 your normal attack rolls a 7 and deals 0 damage after the -8 penalty from its defense. You heal 9 total damage from your bracer and regen.
The monsters attack deals 13 damage (Roll(3d4)+5: 2,3,3,+5 Total:13)reduced by 16 from combat die and defensive hold.
So Veet takes 12 damage and the monster takes 22.
Monster 11/60
Next turn it will attack perrian SA: Djanni Action: shield bash an attacker/ if none Guard

(What did I roll? I used defensive hold which doubles damaged resisted from combat die for both special and normal damage.))
