zane screeched slightly as a loud sound penetrated his hearing and caused him to smack into a wall
"what..stupid echoes..so low stupid human ears cant hear the after effect...might as well see where that person got to i guess."
he dove down but before he got to the ground he changed again this time into a great dane so he wouldn't get stepped on
"well let me see" he thought as he pressed his nose to the ground and began to follow an unfamiliar scent down the hall, and eventually stopping at a certain spot
"gone already" he lifted his head up and sniffed the air "nope" he thought as he walked on getting some strange stares as he walked along
"i am the first shape shifter i just know it...is it that uncommon " he screamed but it just came out as a few loud barks

Kirai smiled again. "hm, mabe the government is paying them to keep quiet. Even if this is just a safe haven, I wonder how they got a message to me. You see, mail dosent reach my location. At all." Kirai stood up. "Well, either way, keep an eye out and Wing poised. like I said, there are all types of people. Extrordinary or not. You mmind if I use the window?" Without waiting for a response, Kirai opened the window and jumped out. With a lagh Kirai let a gust of air out at the last second and landed sofly. "I'm gonna go exporing! Wanna come!" Kirai yelled up. Behind him Jaguar jumped off the window and onto his shoulder. Jaguar then climbed into his bag.

"You're very welcome," Sid replied following Eureka out of the dorm. "Haha well, where to?" He took a quick look at Gulliver before closing the door. "I hope he'll be ok on his own." he thought.

Rikku found herself sitting on a couch in the main lobby. She hated lying but in a situation such as the one she had just been in ,lying was the only option. Rikku longed for her grandmother and began to cry a bit. Her tears fell onto her lap like twinkling stars. " Oh grandmama" she said in her ghost like whisper " I miss you so much.." she sat there staring out of the window at the sky outside and consoled her self a bit begining to sing the small folk song her grandmother would sing to her..." Camine, por el cielo camine por el sol camine por la luna y gran temor camine....a llegar a ti..." (( translation: I walked by the sky, I walked by the sun, I walked by the moon and great fear...I walked just to get to you..)) Rikku smiled holding her self a bit as the tears dried and her heartache was sent back into her soul where it had been kept for most of her life.

Teroh had grown bored from spending on that time just looking at the view of the lake. This however is not limited to the lake, the more he thought about the more he realized that after a fare amount of time living as a drifter this type of sedentary life style will probably seem rather dull. He however wanted to try to stay optimistic so he headed back to the main building. Once inside he saw someone who was obviously a student sitting on a couch crying and singing. Teroh began listening to the song. When she had finished Teroh slowly approached her, "The was a beautiful song, especially with such a beautiful voice such as yours."

Rikku jumped and whispered " Oh my...I'm sorry i know I have a horrible voice..I d..didn't mean to bother you..I'm just a bit homesick" she brushed her white hair out of her face and blushed bit as she quickly glanced at the boy. She looked down quickly and played with the sleeve of her sweater a bit.

" Well no I guess I don't mind" Rikku moved over to make room for Teroh.
" Oh and thank you for the complements. My grandmama taught me the Spanish she spoke it with me quite often." Rikku smiled remembering her grandmother and smiled fully for the first time in front of anyone at the school. Her eyes lit up a bit as she remembered her grandmother dancing and singing in Spanish playing with her as a small girl. Her white hair flashed a bit in the sunlight.

Teroh sat on the couch next to Rikku, smiling because he had managed to at least slightly cheer up someone who had been crying a few minutes before. It dawned on Teroh that he had never introduced himself, "My names Teroh by the way, what yours?"

" Oh well very nice to meet you Teroh" Rikku managed to whisper " I'm Rikku, Rikku Rozenfeild" she brushed her hair behind her ear a bit and looked fully at Teroh for the first time. She whispered as she saw his eyes " You know.... you have enchanting eyes.." she blushed a bit and soon returned her gaze to the floor.

Teroh was taken aback by her comment, "uh....Thank You," he managed to say while he started to blush and also begin looking down at the floor. Teroh decided to change the topic one that was the universal topic for kids to talk about at this school, "So if you don't mind be asking, what's your power?"

Kiyoko agreed that he had a point; she'd keep a lookout anyways. She watched as the boy jumped straight out the window. In horror, she ran out to the small balcony as she watched the boy land safely. Oh yeah, he said wind powers...duh! she thought to herself bitterly, but then heard his question as his cat jumped out and landed on Kirai's shoulder. "Sure, I'll join you on your exploration. One moment!" she called down, before grabbing her purse and her no-longer-sleepy cat. She then closed the balcony behind her, then flew safely to the ground.
Laura had left the room for only a moment, in order to throw someting away. Right before entering the room again, she hid behind the door as she saw the girl awaken and speak. She could tell that the girl was lying; she had been stuttering too much for what she said to be true. But after the girl left through another door, Laura thought for a moment whether to follow her, but decided against it. "Well, I guess she's ok then. I won't bother her for the time being." she said aloud hopefully, then she went to clean one last spot before finishing her tedious chore.

kirai smiled then walked towards the building. If there is something with this school, I will find out. "So you wanna explore the grounds or the building?" Kirai started off in a small jog to the flagpole but tripped on some kind of plaque. "agh!" Kirai fell down on his face. Kirai stood back off and brushed his face, then looked at the plaque.

" M..my power?" a thousand horrid images of the accident flashed through Rikku's mind but she acted as if nothing was wrong,which is usually what she always did. She shook her head a bit,snapping out of her thought , " I..I have super strength." she said timidly still looking down at the floor, her voice wa sa bit more serious. She hated remembering what happened but alas it was part of life to. Rikku purposely left out the hearing of the voices, she wanted to know for sure what would eventually happen with them.

"Either one is fine!" she answered cheerfully, quite happy that this was going well so far. "We've got the whole day off, so there's plenty of time to-Kiari!" Kiyoko suddenly stopped in mid-sentence as she saw him trip over some sort of plauge. After seeing that he was alright, she bent down to examine the plaque a bit closer. It was obviously something important and rather new, for the text was in a brilliant yellow and it was sitting on the ground, but not in it. The plaque read:Celebrating the 10 years of serving various students with unnatural abilities
and giving them a place to learn and call home.
We therefore honor this high-level school:
SECOND CHANCES ACADEMY
by the School Boards of Education "Interesing. Perhaps they're not finished with this yet." she said aloud, as Isabel meowed lazily behind her. The paint still smelled fresh.
