gobipower get tyranids they are the best army Apparently not good enpugh to deal with a few Grey Knights mrgreen You can't just say your army is the best. They all balance(almost)out nicley. Go for an army who's style you can best relate to.

Yeah, Daemon Hunters are pretty good, although i don't use ana rmy of just daemonhunters. I use Grey Knights as allies to my imperial guard, and they help balance it out nicely. Guard give me my heavy weapons, and the Grey Knights give me good close combat ability.
No body has said much about Necrons. If you don't want to spend a ton of money to get a good army, Necrons are excellent. Since they're so expensive for points, you don't need to buy a whole lot to get a decent size army. A Lord, 2 boxes of Warriors and a Monolith make up a very nasty 750 point list.

DaemonHunter's are great, I play them myself, but definately take some getting used to...don't be surprised to lose your first couple of games before you get the hang of them.
Anyway, Chakara...if you deem it worthy of your time, Setq and I had a fight earlier on the expenses of Necrons, I would have to personally disagree with your point above, although you can get a descent force of Necrons for cheap, you may notice that as soon as you raise points, to begin getting a more diverse army of necrons begins to cost you quite a bit of money actually, thier Elites and Heavy Support, are very expensive...Paraihs being 10 to 15 dollars a piece, where the destroyers are all about 25 dollars a piece...I don't know if I'd have the bling to go above and behond the warriors actually.

Statistically speaking Imperial Gaurd, are the easiest to use. They win 74% of the time. They are great against 'Nids, and Eldar/Dark Eldar, they get crushed by Necrons, and the battle against Space Marines, and Chaos can be a pain. that is what I have found anyway. As far as Starting thouh, I started with Dark Eldar, and I love playing them I just lose 5 out of every 6 battles, they are very hard to use if you have only an average grasp of tactics, and impossible if you suck at tactics. But they are a good army to learn with, I think anyway! smile

I will have to look into that, I have lost all 3 battles I have had against Necros, of course I play Catachan Devils, so that may be it. My Tanith Ghosts are finished though and they slaughter Terminators, so I may need to try them against Necros. Also My Cadian's Are almost finished, I am dieing to try out my 3 baskilsk tactic.
Oh BTW I play: Chaos Space Marines Eldar Dark Eldar Imperial Guard: Cadians Catachan Gaunt's Ghosts
