Kaosu started again, this time with more concentration. He brought his hands together, quickly spread them apart, and in the same second he squashed the strands of energy together, quickly bringing it to his side.
"Hallowed fields and rotting dreams. Transgression repaid, go forth and rend!" He braced his stance, almost as if he was discharging some heavy weapon.
"Hadou no Ni...HAPPAJI!" He uttered, pushing his hands out with everything he had. The projectile grew in luminescence until it hit the bookcase, and actually left a scorch mark this time. Satisfied, Kaosu smiled.
"That's what I call sweet."

Kaosu smirked, going for a final push. He ran through all the motions until he had it at his side. He paused a moment, feeling the sweat rolling down his face. He forgot how taxing it happened to be.
"Hallowed fields and rotting dreams. Transgressions repaid, go forth and rend! Hadou no Ni, Happaji!" He shot it out, but watched it fizzle seconds after leaving his hand. It was time for Kaosu to stop a moment and catch his energy. Then...he'd try something else.
He sat down, looking at the book. He wanted to try a boubi...but it didn't make sense. Composing himself as well as he could, he walked up to the teacher and coughed.
"Sensei? Could you help me with the boubi? I don't get how to use the stance, or how to use your reiatsu to protect something else." He sighed. "I'm not so great at this stuff."

Ren looked around at the others that were doing pretty well, 'And I can't even get this one thing!' he yekked at himself angerly. There was no way that he could do anything but read, 'Better to be able to understand it than to do it in ssome cases.' he thought.

(It was mentioned because Robo talked about using Hikari's reiatsu, something that can't be done.

Ren concentrated evenly. in his hands a medium sized ball of green energy appeared in his hand. "Cool." he said smiling. This wasn't so bad at least he could do it. 'So lets move on to the next thing.' he thought happily.

Rei huffed, letting his shoulders go limp. "And now....since I'm pretty certain that I won't be able to learn a Chiyou....now that I've learned how I'm supposed to go about learning a kidou.....but now...I have to go with the intent to kill....to hurt....to injure...anything less will result in failure....but thats the part that scares me......to injure....to kill" He frowned, getting back to a straightened standing position. He quickly began gathering reiatsu as he made his way back around the bookcase, trying to form it into some sort of relative ball.

"Not to heal....not to protect.......but to kill..." Rei imagined that he heard a slight hiss, or a creeping whisper. "Dispel other thoughts....only completing this Kidou need be my only agenda..." He thought calmly as another creeping whisper blew by his ears. flickering reiatsu began to cover his body, once again free flowing, with him taking only a slight guide. A tiny ball suddenly formed, it was a bit more condensed, but it was still not ready to be distilled into and attack of any kind.

The boy soon shut his eyes and his left brow would twitch with impatience as he gathered his reiatsu, and his level-head. The one whisper became two as he concentrated, visualizing the large hunks of reiatsu coming together for something bigger, stronger, deadly. "I don't want....I need.....theres something there...just like with the barrier, but different." The boy thought with tenacity as he took a stance exactally like his first attempt with making progress in this class, legs spread, hands overlapping. The strands of black reiatsu began to whip around in a different manner, around the tiny ball, nuturing it in some odd way, making it grow little by little.

Shunketsu relaxed...he was overly tense on his previous attempts, forcing the next step to happen...but now, he thought he'd try letting things flow naturally...
slow and steady wins the race...
Shunketsu began just letting his reiatsu leak out, with his mind thinking about his goal, the formation of a sphere of reiatsu and air...At first, his reiatsu was just going to waste, but then, as if he had gotten used to the act of creating the ball of reiatsu, a nice round sphere formed in front of his palm...it was far from smooth, but it was a ball nonetheless...
"alright! now uhh...what do I do next?" Shunketsu scratched his head as his brain blanked out...he had thought about just letting his body do all the work that he forgot the next step...

::Medixia taps her forehead, eyes closed, with a look that one might take as annoyed. He didn't just say that... Did he? She leans back in her chair while tilting the text she's reading, so she can look over the pages to Shunketsu.::
You really need to think a little bit more ahead of time. It's not all guts and no brains.
::She shakes her head as she rereads the text on Ranboukaze. The fact that you've got to trust your body and use your brain reminds her of finding the right herbs to make good medicines. With that thought, she stands up and pushes the chair back a bit before entering a relaxed stance. She's never really worked with her reiatsu before, so she decides to just mellow out for a second in preparation. At least she's fairly comfortable with the concept and chant.::

"To kill........to kill" The thought ran through his head, covering every plain of thought, slowly taking over. The whispers were a constant in his head, slowly becoming more and more clear, they were saying something, something that drove a chill up the boys solid backbone, which slowly chipped away at his concentration until the mass of reiatsu spilled and broke form like water in a recently busted glass. Rei's eyes shot open and he growled lightly, trying to catch himself and keep his cool by breathing through both his nose and his mouth.

After a moment or two of concentrated breathing, Rei would squat down for a little, running his fingers through his head. "I'm close.....close to learning my second spell...but its so hard....I can't rush this....but the faster I learn, the quicker I can get onto something else....something I'll actually use....."
"To kill.....to kill.."
The whispers were eeriely clear now. From what part of Rei's head they were coming from, he didn't know, but he knew they were there, and it was enough to make him more than uneasy. Rei would suddenly find his black reiatsu caressing him, the strands from all the balls of reiatsu he tried forming, sliding over him. He felt some sort of force, pulling him up, urging him to go forward, a strange and anxious feeling coming from around him, not within'. "Fine....you want it?....I'll give it to you.....I'll give all that I have to satisfy you..." He spoke out in his mind with a tinge of anger and malice. He stances, sneering at his hands as the reiatsu whipped around them, he was in the complete mind set, now all that was left was the execution.

Rei tensed and relaxed, bringing his hands to the overlapped position in a quick motion, quickly gathering enough reiatsu for a ball the size of a good riceball, the strands that once whipped around aimlessly now fed into the ball, growing it little by little. "Not good enough.....it'll fail." He thought as he broke his form, absorbing the reiatsu back into his arms without realizing it. "Again..." With a single thought he was back on track, gathering his reiatsu slowly, making it grow himself rather than letting the strands feed into it. "Its just like someone firing an arrow....hold your breathe...and wait for it...." He strained as he held his position, the ball wavering the slightest bit.

"Disorder......the rush......the rage.....an attack meant to destroy.....this want.....this need.....this explosive feeling....I can use it....I'll use it all!" His eyes locked on the ball he was forming, the orb seemed to pulse and solidify, in a sence, unwavering in its form. The strands slowly began to go away, as Rei came to the side of the bookcase, with the ball at his side, still pumping and shoving stray reiatsu into the tiny ball. "Destructive Art number one" He said, tensing his body even more.
