Veive sat beneath a tree near the lake and stared up at the sky. It had been a long time since she had spent time with another illusion and surprisingly enough, she was beginning to feel lonely. Looking down at the daggers in her lap she sighed and moved them to the ground. Maybe it would do her good to go for a walk.

It had been a while since Ayame had come down this path...so much of her time since then had been taken up by other things... She had tried calling the number Lavi had for Ice's house, though her impatience pushed her to hang up the phone after only two rings and head out on her own.
After a moment the lake came into view, though she didn't see Veive anywhere on the shore. With a sigh she walked down the path towards the lake before sitting down in the grass. With Lavi at work more often the day's seemed rather empty...
[I was drawing so many blanks writing what I managed lol sorry it was kinda late.]

Veive stood up and dusted off her skirts, trying to stay in the shade and squinting against the light when she failed. Looking around she was about to start into the woods when a movement caught her eye. Further around the side of the lake she could see another moving...with wings. Turning her head fully she cocked it to one side and strained her eyes. Yep...wings. Ayame?
Brightening slightly Veive started in that direction slowly, cautiously, since the wings were right but the body didn't fit quite right....

Ayame smiled as a light breeze toyed with her hair and dress, bringing with it the smell of the water, which she now had to admit wasn't so horrifying as the first time she had come here.
She continued down towards the lake until she saw a figure approaching, at which point she grinned and broke into a run, fluttering her wings as if they would offer more speed. "Veive, is that you?" Ayame called out as she got closer.

Veive grinned but kept her speed steady. Raising a hand she brushed back her silver hair and waved to the incoming butterfly girl. "Hey Ayame!!! I haven't seen you in awhile!!!"
Well, if Veive had grown since their last visit then Ayame had had a huge growth spurt as well. Their hair was really similar now in length and color and Veive inwardly grinned. They looked more like sisters then her and Anala ever had.

Ayame slowed to a stop a few feet away before tossing back her head slightly to shake her hair from her face. "It's been a while hasn't it? You...you're still bigger then me!" She faked pouting over it, offering Veive a sour look before grinning.
"I thought we would see each other sooner...but Lavi took me to these classes where we learned to talk with our hands. Oh, and now i'm in school! and..." She babbled on for a few minutes, recounting some of the more interesting of her current events before realizing how much she had been jabbering. She fell silent and rubbed the back of her head, a foolish smile on her face and a light tint of embarassments colored her cheeks.

Veive just smiled and silently listened. Ayame had definatly always been the more outspoken but for once Veive really didn't mind listening at all. Normally people who rambled annoyed the hell out of her but Ayame was different...she was her first real friend so was ready to put up with most of the things the little butterfly girl did. When she finally stopped talking Veive just giggled slightly and shook her head. "Wow, seems like you've been up to a lot since I last saw you...too bad none of it affected your growth." Grinning she patted the top of Ayame's head in a joking way. "Can't say I've done nearly the same amount of things as you have, but Ice did take me for some formal singing lessons and I'm more in control of some of my powers, so I guess all in all I've been good."
Sitting down in the grass she sprawled slightly and grinned at Ayame. "So what do you want to do now?"

She flopped down into the grass beside her, holding down her dress as it billowed out, allowing it to settle before she put her hands behind her to brace herself.
"I dunno...Was there anything YOU wanted to do? You've always asked me, it's only fair you get to choose for once!" She tilted her head and glanced over at Veive and returned the grin.

Veive huffed slightly. "Well that's not fair! Your the one who knows all the games!!" Leaning back she looked up at the sky and thought for a minute. "We'll...we're both in dresses, so nothing rough. Let's see...oh, Ice taught me this fun game! Wanna play truth or dare?!?" Her eyes gleamed with anticipation and a hint of wickedness. She had never been good at coming up with dares but she was good at doing them and asking truths.

Ayame's eye's gleamed at the name of the game. "That sounds like fun, how do you play?" The question was entirely innocent, She had only the faintest guess as to what the game actually implied, though from the way Veive looked all she could consider was it might prove interesting to try. As an absent thought she smoothed out her dress, yet kept her attention on Veive, not wanting to miss any instruction.

Veive thought for a moment before replying. "Well, we take turns asking each other 'Truth or Dare?' If you pick Truth then I get to ask you a question about yourself that you can't lie to me about. And if you pick Dare then I can dare you to do anything and you have to do it. Like....stand on your head. Or kiss a tree. Silly stuff." Veive grinned a little at the memory of Ice teaching her how to play. Ice had all the good dares, not she just hopped she could remember some. "Sound like fun?"

Ayame's eyes widened at the unusual nature of the game, at least compared to what she had seen before. It did sound interesting...
"Ok, let's play truth or dare then! Uh...you go first!"
She fluttered her wings in anticipation, not entirely catching on to what the game offered in it's entirety. It didn't matter to her though, Ayame was satisfied with being simply entertained.

Veive nodded and grinned, twirling a piece of hair absently. "Umm....okay then. Truth or Dare, Ayame?"
It was so nice to be around another Illusion and to get her mind off of other things. Not only another Illusion, but one she hoped she was able to call friend.

This was most certainly a peculiar game..."Uh...Dare?"
She was, for today at least, a bundle of energy and it was beginning to show as she fidgeted, waiting to see what happened next.

Veive huffed and rolled her eyes. She was so much better at truths. "Umm....dare....hmm...." Looking at Ayame she tried to think of something silly that her friend could do that wouldn't be mean.
"I dare you too....do a headstand!"
