Western Jungle Field Leaving behind the central region if you to travel west you find yourself encompassed by a thick mist. Stripped of your sense of sight you walk on blindly with only your other senses to guide you. Before long the light crunch of the sand beneath your feet gives way to the light rustle of crushed leaves. Before your know it, the dank musty scent of plant life invades your nose. You realize you are no longer in the desert. Pushing on you find yourself assualted by thick binding vines threatening to bar your path. With each step it feels as though the trees, which have seemingly sprouted before your eyes have consumed the path in which you walk. Travelling on the fog begins to lift. Surrounding you is a thriving jungle setting. You realize you are not alone as silouhette of jungle beasts can be seen drifting through the shadows. Overhead the voices of birds fill the air with song. Why could you not hear them before? Walking on you come across a clearing with a worn sign branded to a tree. Arrows point to diverging paths. Choose your own destiny.
Update: The sign has recently been replaced by a portal platform which can teleport its user to any location in the Jungle field by oral command. By default, if one were not to issue a command they are teleported to the waterfall valley arena
Marshland Arena
You travel east from the clearing. Before long the ground becomes spongy and soft and the air becomes thick with the scents of decay. The trees which once stood about you in abundance now lay dismal only lining your path. Stretched before you is a clear plain splotched with shallow pools of water and patchs of water borne plants. In the areas that have managed to remain dry, caustic scented geysers belch searing jets of water into the air. The occasional flower hardy enough to survive these conditions appears now and then. There is also the occasional natural hot spring if one were willing to look.
Note: This arena is mainly a field with uneven spongy ground. Please note random geyser spouts during a fight. It can also be used a hot spring if some one want to relax.
Waterfall Valley Arena
Travelling west from the clearing you hear the sound rushing water. Continuing through the thick growth, you begin to hear the sound grow stronger. Soon it is deafening as the tree give way to a wide valley with a massive waterfall emptying into it. Carved into the valley walls the path continues down to the wide bodied river below. You find it is surprisingly shallow and easy to wade through. Except for the occasional jutting rock the area is expansive. On the other face of the valley a path to a underground cave can be seen. Here it leads to an wide bodied tunnel which stretchs to unknown distances. There has been word of rock slides and lava flows deeper in.
Note: Flat and shallow river bottom. Its basically a plain with a shallow sheet of water over it. and a rushing waterfall background. Water level is about 3 feet deep.
Update: To accomodate for Epithany and Unk's wedding, several changes were made to the landscape now turning the area into a deep river basin with a beach aligning its left side. The entrances to the caves are submerged under water, but if one can transverse the water logged areas they can still be accessed
Canopy Skyscape Arena
Heading North from the clearing you find that the elevation begins arch upwards and trees themselves stretch into the heavens some with widths rivaling skyscrapers. Due to this phenomenon the trees tend to block out a great deal of the sunlight to the ground below. The result is that the area is true rainforest with all the conditions that accompany including the sweltering heat and lack of other plant life. Above the forest canopy there several entry points with spiral stair ways leading downward toward ground below. Perched atop the tallest tree is a man made platter constructed to give a view of the treetops below. Using a green tile it manages to mimic the hue of the very tree's it rests.
Note: Run of the mill arena atop the canopy allowing for both aerial and normal battles. Its fairly windy though so that can be noted. Below the canopy is great for battles requiring stealth since its low light with many things to hide behind.

Rules for Jungle Field
arrow Fights can go on anywhere in this field. This is not say just start destroying everything in sight. It took a lot of time to grow and despite being magically aided and resilient it takes time to repair itself.
arrow The tree's lining or supporting each field act as totems to ward off permanent damage. Arena will repair themselve after each bout. Do not destroy all the trees.
arrow Try not to destroy the stairways and paths. People use them as does the animal life. Even if you do they will be restored. But try not to.
arrow The bouncers are all moderators to this guild so I would suggest not pissing them off because they can ban you. Obey them and if you have a problem with that, PM KenoTao.
arrow Keep all quoting to a minimum. Unless there is high denstiy within a thread, it is usually unnecessary to quote someone. You know who is addressing you and who you are addressing so please do not quote unless you need to. Even then, there is a three quote maximum per post.
arrow Do not stretch the pages out with oversized pictures, extended posts, etc. It's a nuisance and a bother. Any stretched posts will be deleted at your own expense, so don't do anything stupid.
arrow Be literate. By literate I mean try to type more than two lines per post, use correct grammar and spelling. Be descriptive with your posts, but please to not simply add unnecessary fill in to make the posts long enough. We're not all able to post a page per post, nor do we all want to read one.
arrow I don't want n00bs in this thread. I don't classify n00bs by character, but by action. This means if you RP or lurk decently, then I have no problem with you. However if you spam, bump, beg, plead, or flame for no reason, then you will be considered being n00bish. Now being new to Gaia does not classify you as a n00b. I do implore you to learn to RP before coming here though.
arrow No cybering
arrow Be imaginative. Since there is no map read the description and work from there. If you want an animal to be around let it be around. If you want different weather like say rain. But try to remain in reason.
arrow Obey the Gaia TOS
arrow If you have suggestions of things to be added. PM Epithany

:.Genetic could be seen relaxing in a geyser with no clothes on, with his arms stretched out wide, resting to his sides on the edge of the geyser, with his face looking up. His eyes were closed, and his breathing was relaxed. It had been awhile since Genetic had felt this relaxed.:

The air was calm as the sun rose over the jungle waterfall. Overlooking the river valley there was a single meditating body centered on a rock at the very edge of the falls. Risen to the tips of his toes, he balanced on one leg letting the water mist past by him. The wind passed over his wide spread arms and pushed his silk black hair forward as it followed the water down the cliff.
There Cain sat, after training for weeks in the depths of the jungle he finally had the time to meditate peacefully. The early morning wind felt good on his neck and the fresh water mist rising from the bottom of the falls could be smelt for miles. His eyes were closed as he let himself be engulfed in the scene.

Keno drifted on to the scene very calm and silent so as not to distrub the young warrior. He appeared right about the shallow water, the flat of his left foot touching the very surface. His right foot was lifted, his leg bent up at the knee. His body was bobbing along the surface as water level rose and dipped in turn. His own raven black hair didn't dance with the wind as Cain's, almost in an eerie sort of way they were defying natural science. But it was of no significance. He knew the boy very little, only seeing him here and there from time to time. But one thing he had no expected was someone who was affiliated with Capsule to be so prone to train their mental strength. That was something the green man would teach Keno, but it seemed to be a fading training method.

Cain drew in a deep breath and let it drain slowly through his lips. His eyes opened to look out upon the treetops and he smiled with contentment. "A beautiful morning, is it not?" Cain spoke to the dark mannered man behind him, he could smell his scent on the wind and see his shadow breaking the suns refraction beside him. He closed his arms slowly and brought them next to his stomach, hiding the chain that bound him within his grasped hands.

"Any day that you're allowed to wake up is a beautiful one," Keno answered in a half whisper. The moment demanded a sort of tranquility that only an artist's spirit would understand. And by nature, weren't all warriors also artists? "Though I've only been here this once, it would appear you enjoy this place that Epithany has so graciously made for us. Have it yet been blessed with friendly competition?" The wind seemed to be echoing his very voice, it's gentle breeze almost mimicking his tone. This wind was obviously half tuned to him, as if he had been training in a new form, it was rather refreshing though as if it now reinforced the meaning behind his very words.

"Not as of yet. I've seen only one other here, and very seldom at that." Cain turned slowly to face his visitor. He shook the hair from his face as the wind toyed with it, and looked the mysterious man over. He'd met him before, once or twice, but did not remember his name.

"You look at me with lost eyes. Familiar, but lost. If memory serves me, you are Cain. I am Keno, and it's doubtful we've said more words before than we have just now." There was a grin on Keno's face as the wind blew gentler still, though this time more mischievous. "Well then since you say this place hasn't been properly honored, what say we take it upon ourselvesto deem it worthy of battle?"

"Indeed." Cains bowed to his opponent, his arms already clasped in front of him. As he stood from his bow, he began to take a fighting stance on this small rock. In one fluid motion, he unclasped his hands and brought them up in front of him. He held his composure more like a beast then a human, his rigid and firm like claws. He moved his left foot back to the edge of the slippery rock, no more then a couple inches and awaited an attack.

Keno, for the first time in a while, assumed his original fighting style, bringing back old memories of the warrior he was as recent as the earlier days of this very year. His right foot back, left foot forward, knees slightly bent, left arm ready for battle, right prepared to assist. "If I remember, you're not trained very well in ki. That being said I'll not be using it in this battle." As if on cue, his body lightly dipped into the water, which happened to raise slightly above his waist because of his height. "However I wonder hinder my other natural abilities too much. Therefore, the water is your ally since it will naturally slow me down." Another cue it seemed as the warrior sprinted throught the water, matching the speed of a human sprinter on land, though he could still go faster if he wanted. "On the other hand if you wish me to give you some experience with others like me, I'll be more than glad to oblige so long as I feel you're in no harm." And the final cue launched the warrior out of the water as he descended from the sky with and air breaking chop kick to Cain's shoulder.

"If you insist on fighting at anything less then full strength..." Cain lowered his stance, bending further at his own knees. He knew the rushing water would assist in Kenos speed and was ready to react. "...then you will find yourself in a world of pain." With almost no movement from Cain, the rock beneath him shattered and he dropped down into the waist deep water. As his feet found the bottom, the water came crashing into the void that was once a rock. He was able to almost completely ignore the pounds of pressure thanks to his training and did not move from his spot.
As Keno grew closer, Cain rasied his closed fist and brought it down onto the sheet of water in front of him. Just like the rock, the water seemed to over react as it rose up from around his fist like a meteor had struck and obscured him from Kenos view. Though Cain assumed that would be enough to dissuade Keno from continuing his attack, he crossed his arms above him to block the downward kick.

"Thanks for the warning," Keno says at it seems Cain had waited almost last minute to mention this. He pressed even more force into his kick and watched carefully as the water shot up around him. That wasn't a bother at all. Water only became an obstacle if one made it as such. Keno would ignore it's pressued and cut straight through it as his foot grew ever closer. "Nice to see there's something to you afterall. I honor a man of great martial skill, but I also enjoy seeing a man who knows how to use his own body to derive strength from his settings!" There was a hint of sheer rapture in his voice and the wind once again was quick to react with a quick, whipping thrust as his foot came in for impact. He was sure such a straight forward was mostly wasted, but he ahd been fighting for a while. Until someone just came out with a straight attack, it was more of a dance than a fight.

"Hm." Cain smirked momentarily but soon felt the blow land on his forearms. It shifted his weight almost entirely to his left foot, but did not move him. As he angled the foot back down to the ground, he pulled his back hand away and in one quick motion, he'd warped Kenos foot in the unbreakable chain between his wrists. He pulled his hands apart to tighten the chain and threw his writs above his head to knock him off balance.

Keno felt the loss of balance in his body and sent his upper body into a flip in motion with his foot. When the chaind grew completely taught, he Dispersed his foot and landed elegantly in a crouch. "Well that explains the chain. Interesting use," Keno commented as if he knew it was there all along, which he did.....sorta notice, but ignored up until now. His head seemed to be floating alone above water until he stood back up to reveal the rest of his body. "Well you're obviously a lot more improved than I thought. I knew there had to be something to you. You know someone from Capsule, that much is obvious. I hear their the best when it comes to designing things for warriors of....above natural talents. As he stood straight up, it appeared as if his body was completely dry. His hair didn't clong to his back, his brow was dripping, nor was his chin, which was obvioulsy submerged. "Let's continue," the warrior ducked completely underwater was his body spun counter clockwise for a sweep at Cain's ankles.
