The following links seem to confirm that Death Note dubs will be airing soon. If I come across something more solid on an american airtime and channel I'll make sure to post it.

posted on 2006-12-07 17:03 EST
A spinoff Death Note film will be produced for release in Japan next year. The previous two Death Note features have brought in almost $60 million in Japan, and the Death Note TV series is expected to air next year in America. Thanks, Saturn Copeland.

I saw a post on Adult Swim made by a fan that said the following.
Adult Swim member TheOnlyAssyMcgee Fan
" Viz's final anime release of 2007 will be Death Note. Volume one will be released on November 20, and further volumes will follow each month. Both a standard DVD-only edition and a collector's special box will be available. The collector's box will include a limited-edition Ryuk figure, which will also be offered for stand-alone purchase via the Viz website. Viz is hoping to also have Death Note air on Adult Swim, but no specific details of any arrangement have been confirmed yet." (source ANN)
As for Vis themselves. This is the official press release concerning Death Note. It doesn't mention AdultSwim but it does show that Death Note will be available for download on two sites online. These are Direct2Drive.com and TotalVid.com .
Also, I came across an interview with the director of the two Death Note movies that have been made. I belive only one has been release in Japan so far. Clisk here to read and see a few screen shots
