The Story
In the small kingdom of Burgdufen the plague is all over the country side, and a group of young nobles, and there servants are confined to the castle, the only plague free place. One must understand that Burgdufen is a small country, the Castle is actually little more then a glorified Manor. The king and Queen were on Holiday when the plague took hold, so they are not at home. There are, however eight people in the castle at this time. The house hold of the castle is consists of, the Princess(A very bubbly girl, I think being blond affects her), a Prince from another country(hes been sent to marry the princess, arranged marriages are so old fashioned!), the Princesses cousin a Duke(moody fellow, loves dogs), the Captain of the Guard(painfully truthful, doesn't understand the concept of a white lie), the Cook(a bit bossy, OK more then a bit), the Princesses twin Maid Servants(they both look like girls, but on is actually a boy. I think someone has been reading too much manga), and the Kennel Mistress(Ah the kennel mistress... isn't kennel a funny word?) . Our story starts a few days after the prince’s arrival and the plague outbreak; everyone is confined to the caste to leave means to get the plague. So naturally, mayhem ensues, I mean how long can theses people stand the company of someone their in love with, who is in love with some one else?TOCStoryRules Characters Reserved

updates and such Alright we finally have all eight characters.
oh yeah i forgot to mention, i left the character descriptions so short so that you would have room to make the character your own. if your having trouble becoming your character, re read there history, and fill in the blanks with your individual creativity.
I love descriptives posts! We are all lazy at times, but if your in a creative mood, pleas go wild and write a long, wordy post.
Obviously, we have been moved from the main forum We have been put in the level 1 beginners category
I may be gone for days at a time with out warning...I'm in the process of moving out of my house, so I get kind of busy. I'm flying out on august 11, so around then I'll probably be off line for a while. My class start on the 20, school comes before role play, especially sense now it costs money.
Sorry about being gone so long sweatdrop moving and such is hectic. ill be on line as much as possibel, but i cant promise anything, my computer broke cry . so anyhows

Bianca yawned, and sat up. Sunlight was streaming threw the window on to her obviously hand made patch work quilt. One of the castles many cats was curled up on her legs, happily basking in the early morning sunlight. Bianca's bed was small, just large enough that she, ant five foot four, could barely fit. Bianca shooed the cat away, It looked offended, but grudginly got off her legs. She swung her legs off the side of the bed, hurriedly slipping her feet into a pair of slippers.
Her room was small but neat, the floors and walls made out of stone. There was a small fire place, a closet for her clothing, a chest to keep her personal items in, and a wash basin with a mirror. It was to the wash basin that Bianca turned her attention. It was filled with cold clean water, on the rim sat a bar of homemade soap. The soap smelled of roses, Bianca had found an unused jar of rose oil, and tipped it into that particular batch of soap. She went about washing her face, working the soap into a lather , and gently rubbing it on face and neck. She splashed water on her face to wash away the soap, and then grabbed a towel and thoroughly dried her face.

Keyah strolled into the kennel, humming softly. "Good morning, everyone!" The dogs barked their greeting. She laughed and made her way to a large cabinet at the end of the kennel. "I bet you're all hungry, huh?" She grabbed a large cart and filled it with food for her friends. "I know I spoiled you yesterday with extra food, but that was beacause it was Ruby's birthday and we had to celebrate. So today it is normal rations." She picked up her worn scoop and placed food into the first dog's bowl. "You guys wouldn't want me to lose my job now, would you?" He licked her face in gratitude then began to eat as she fed the others.

Bianca walked towards the closet, she puled back the door and pulled out a plain blue dress, her hand lovingly caressed the brightly colored dancers costume that was hidden at the back of the closet. Bianca sighed and then closed the closet. She pulled of her night gown, and pulled on the dress. She garbed a apron and tied it on over her dress. She brushed out her hair, and secured it into a bun. Then she left her room.

Lia woke up and yawned softly. She stood up, streached back slightly and headed over to the wash stand over in the corner of her small room. She checked the water to make sure it was cold. Lia leaned toward the bowl and splashed the cold water on her face. She stood back upright and dried her face. Lia went over to te dresser on the other side of the room, got a clean uniform out and quickly switched into the uniiform. She headed back toward thewash stand and rushed out all the knots and tangles from her hair, then pulled it back into a low pony tail.

Bianca entered her kitchen with a sigh. She started a fire and stared mixing batter for pancakes. She stirred the whitish liquid with a long handled wooden stove. When the stove was hot enough she put a frying pan on it. In the center of the pan she put a pat of butter. She spooned three perfect circle into the pan, breakfasts for the entire house hold was on the way.

Keyah finished feeding the dogs and grabbed a small brushed. She headed to the center first, where her favorite dog was kept. "Hello, Ruby. How was your night?" She opened the cage and crouched down. Ruby crept up to her and nuzzled her arm. "Okay! Okay!" Keyah laughed as she began to brush Ruby's fur. "You really like that, huh?" Keyah heard footsteps but didn't move. Instead, she called out, "I'll be with you in a minute!"

This is unfortunately the only post I can make before I leave. Refer to the RP I made (currently titled S.E. to make room for my notes) for more info. And join up while you're at it! =^-^=
Vincent woke from his sleep, once again tangled in the blankets. He freed himself from them and got out of his bed, turning to straighten out what he could. He may have been captain of the palace guard, but he would at least try to make the servants' jobs easier. the way his sheets and blankets were would've scared anyone.
Once he got his beddings into some sort of order, he turned to the washbasin in his room that was already full with cold water for his morning rinse. Taking the soap in his hands, he dipped them in and rubbed vigourously, making sure that his hands were well-lathered before rubbing them ito his face. Once the soap has gotten some time to set in, he rinsed his hands free of the soap and splashed his face until it too was clear.
Having finished washing himself for the morning, he walked to his wardrobe and opened it, sighing to find that it of course contained his Royal Guard Uniform. Part of him wondered why he still had to wear it if nobody could enter or leave the Palace. But the more sensible part of him shut this small protion up and scolded it for thinking such things. So many people would give anything to be one of the Guard, nevermind its Captain. This was a great honor he had been given, and he would do everything in his power to keep it. he put his uniform on and left his room, grabbing his sheathed sword and strapping it over his back as he walked to the kitchens to bid Bianca good morning.
