Dr. Akari » Head of Biogenics Research Player » EmperialTeal An award-winning biophysicist, Dr. Akari specializes in biocomputers, computers made from living tissues. Her work with plant tissues led to the creation of the Cabbage Patch. Abandoned by unknown parents as a baby, Dr. Akari grew up in an orphanage in Japan. As a teenager, she modeled to earn money for college. She graduated Tokyo University with top honors. Her modeling career sent her around the world; as a result she speaks fluent Japanese, English, French, and Italian. When she is not engaged in her research, she enjoys gardening. She hates children.

Calder Quoile » English Teacher Player » Drakochan
Calder is a sidhe faerie from Ireland, the guardian spirit of the river Quoile and the guardian of Taki. He has a very happy-go-lucky nature, and can be naive but is very intelligent despite the seeming lack of common sense. He loves children, which is why he took up teaching, and can be found helping around the nursery or taking care of Taki when he isn't teaching or doing school-related things.

Sadanobu Iijima » Lab Technician, Science Teacher Player » EmperialTeal/NPC
A graduate student at Roush University, Iijima is working at the lab in exchange for use of lab facilites for his thesis research, and helping out at the Liberty Center by teaching science levels one and two. At the lab, Iijima performs a lot of the grunt work, including taking genetic samples and making deliveries. He's the person who delivers and picks up the cabbage plants. At school, he's the wildly fun science teacher known to blow things up (but always in controlled situations). Iijima's goal as a teacher is to inspire his students to pursue science by making it fun for them. People often find Iijima a bit creepy because he asks a lot of personal questions, even rude or inappropriate ones, and never answers any questions himself. In his off time, he enjoys snowboarding. His name can be a little hard for non-Japanese, so he answers to "Iji" (ee-jee) or "Mr. E. G." to his students.

Beatrix Darnell » Mathematics Teacher Player » rosemilk
Strict, prissy and fairly Queen Of The Manor in her teaching style, the very British Dr. Beatrix enjoys politeness, neatness and promptness. She is a little impatient with students who are slow to catch on with mathematics but can turn very generous and interested by those who show aptitude for the subject. She is absolutely no fun whatsoever except in the advanced classes, but she is fair despite her strictness. She does have a very dry sense of humour that sometimes comes out to play, but whatever the case expect lots of homework.

Name: Shade
Player: Ice Queen
Age: 1000... I think? Might be older now.
Species: Ancient Dragon
Previous job experience: Professional Mercenary Assistant manager of Kage Inc.
Bio: Shade is a slackard male living with a friend as he raises his kid and feien. He makes most of his money by drawing people on the street, but only enough to survive. He's actually an expert at fighting, drawing, and other various, pointless abilities picked up over the last few hundred years. I.E. he can make a mean balloon animal.
He gave up being a mercenary when he was told to kill the love of his life's sister. He faked her death and is now lying low, trying to keep out of reach of his ex employer, Kori. On his own he has no reason to hurt anyone, and is quite laid back and easy to get along with.
This is a job that will allow him a lot of free time, as well as the chance to spend more time with Antony. Honestly, he's worried because he and Antony have very little in common to begin with, and is trying to mend that problem.
Job: Self Defense instructor, gym coach

Xi-Wang Cheng » Daycare Worker Player » rosemilk
It appears to be a mystery how this stocky Chinese man got the job; mainly his talents appear to lie in butt-sitting, but he appears to be very good with the children. Cheerful and unrufflable, his eccentric love of Hawaiian shirts rivals only the bandanna constantly around his mouth for weirdness. He seems to be excellent with problem children, applesauce-flinging and knowing exactly when someone is about to eat the paste. He is also the one who yanks out the guitar for horrible sing-a-longs, but other than that Xi is a lot of fun.

Percival Prowley » Assistant Principal(/Landlord)
DOB » September 11, 1859 [28] Nationality » British Languages » English
Proper, neat, and organized Percy was roped into working as assistant principal for his administrative skills. If it involves forms or schedules, Percy is your man. A former valet, he previously worked as an Assistant Director at the University of Magic, and is currently also serving as Secretary for the Council of Mages, despite the fact he has absolutely no magic ability. Percy actually doesn't like children very much, but he is very good at the administrative aspects of his job, managing all the technical details of running the school and residences at the Liberty Center. In the absence of any official director, he is in charge of the Liberty Center as a whole. Presumably, when the Director is appointed, his title will switch to Assistant Director.
Percival was born into a working-class family, his mother in the service of Lady Nightingale. Percival trained under the Nightingale's head butler and was a favorite of the lady's. He was appointed valet to her son, James, a rather cavalier fellow who teased Percival mercilessly when they were children. They were returning from a party which ran too late when their carriage broke and James decided to go find help, taking Percy with him. A mugger accosted them and Percival pushed James out of the way of a bullet, but was mortally wounded. The praetorians intervened and brought Percy and James to the Imperium. Percival currently resides on West Thackerey next to his best friend, Reginald, and Reg's wife Molly. Reginald is Regent of the Mage Council (his own idea) and was the one who suggested Percy for the Liberty Center. (Reginald is constantly trying to get Percy to do thigns outside the house.)

Evan Luck » Daycare Worker Player » ShortGreen
At 19, you wouldn't think Evan Luck had the resume to work in the Daycare of a place like the Liberty Center but you would be wrong. He worked at various camps since the age of 14 and, in fact, his prior job was developing a program for children with special needs. His sunshine-bright nature and constant smile add up to a cheerful soul with gentle manners. Seeming at times to be a child himself when with his charges, Evan leads by example and corrects with quiet words. As an added bonus, he seems almost-telepathic when it comes to kids in trouble. Or is it really just "almost"?

Orriole Music Teacher An elf, Orriole is regarded as a rare musical talent. He's familiar with every instrument known to man and plays and sings beautifully, though he tends to be behind on the most recent trends by about a hundred and fifty years. He's exceedingly kind and usually patient as well, but he keeps himself somewhat aloof and distant from his students, not taking much interest in their personal lives. His constant companion is Masamichi Etoh, whe tends to take the more proactive teaching role in the classroom, setting things to order and grading work. Orriole simply enjoys teaching children instruments, and an appreciation for music of old. Orriole has two human aliases. First, the one he used while he was in Japan and first met Masamichi: Morida Seiji. Masamichi still addresses Orriole as Morida-san in public. Second, Orriole is known as a world-renowned concert pianist under the alias Jan Svensson. Normally, Orriole assumes his Morida identity while teaching, as he dislikes questions about his elven nature. He is physically very small, less than a hundred pounds and barely five feet, and is sometimes mistaken for a student.

Masamichi Etoh Music Teacher DOB: July 10, 1983 (24) Nationality: Japanese Languages: Japanese, English, some German (mostly music-related) Masamichi comes from a relatively low-class family. His father died when he was young and his mother worked hard to keep the family together. Masamichi was a very introverted child and had no real friends, too busy trying to help his mother raise his little sister. Without friends he had plenty of time to devote to his studies. He took up violin in school. Things changed in middle school when Masamichi met Orriole. After a very tumultuous school year, Orriole became like a mentor to Masamichi, encouraging him to pursue his musical dreams. Masamichi graduated top of his class but decided to pursue a musical career and study under Orriole instead of attend university. Since then, he has worked as a professional violinist with the Osaka Philharmonic and Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, achieving his dream of playing in Germany. Masamichi is not a brilliant violin player, but he's extremely good technically and very disciplined. In the classroom, he's the one who ends up doing most of the work traditionally associated with teaching while Orriole more tutors students. He can be strict, sending children to stand in the corner if they interrupt the lesson, because he's aware of what an honor it is to have Orriole as a teacher and will tolerate no disrespect of his mentor. Though he's strict, Masamichi does take an interest in the lives and well-being of his students. His manner with children is firm but understanding, and he has a good deal of experience from having helped raise his little sister, who will be starting university this fall.

Jessie Samson » Daycare Worker Player » Drakochan
Jessie is working her way through college, majoring in--of all things--foreign affairs. She has no special like or dislike for children, viewing the daycare as a job with the perks of looking after some very interesting children. Friendly and even-handed, she takes her time in things, going by the philosophy that doing something right the first time is better than having to go back and do things over again.

The Sisters of the White Cloth » Nursery Attendants Player » NPC
Clad in striped blue dresses with white aprons and hats, the Sisters have generously volunteered their services to look after the children in the nursery until they find homes. The sisters are modest, polite, generous, and helpful. They can answer any questions about the adoption procedure for both cabbages and children. They process all adoption paperwork. Though they seem very much like nuns, they are not a religiously affiliated order.
The Sisters are not totally random characters, they all have names and personalities. All names are preceeded by the appellation "Sister."
Adelaide - Cheery to a fault, frizzy red hair and blue eyes. Irish-American. Always thinks the best of people. Beatrice - Dark hair, quite beautiful, but chilly in demeanor. Likes things done by the book down to the tiniest detail. Constance - ??? Davina - ??? Eugenia - ??? Flora - ??? Gertrude - ??? Henrietta - ??? Ida - Soft golden curls frame a round face with big brown eyes. Ida is kind and caring and playful. While she is one of the more junior sisters, she is a natural leader, the type of person who can sweep up those around her into what she is doing by virtue of her confidence and charm. She is also young and pretty and a bit of a flirt, perhaps not as committed to the Sisterhood as some of the others. Josephine - Quiet, daydreamy Josephine never quite seems to be paying attention to what's in front of her, but she never makes any mistakes, either. Her skin is creamy brown and her hair dark brown with honeyed highlights. Her eyes are hazel. Katerina - ??? Lenora - Easily the biggest laugh and best sense of humor, Lenora likes to make people smile or laugh as much as she can. She can find humor in most anything. While she's very funny, she also is firmly dedicated to her work and is competent and self-assured. She has short, 1920s-style dark brown hair and brown eyes. Mildred - Thin, pale, sickly Mildred worries a lot. She always thinks the worst is about to happen and over-prepares. If ten clean blankets are needed, she'll wash twenty. Has a tendency to trail off in her sentences and suddenly start new, seemingly unrelated ones. Dark, limp hair and green eyes. Niamh - ??? Ophelia - ??? Philomena - Overly cautious, Philomena views all prospective parents with a very discerning eye. She doesn't seem to trust anyone, even her fellow sisters, and will often interrupt to take voer a task herself. she has long black hair and piercing, unnerving blue eyes. Quintessa - ??? Ruth - Calm, kind, patient and understanding. African, with dark skin and hair. Very even-tempered, she never loses her head and approaches all tasks with care and patience. Samantha - ??? Teagan - ??? Ursula - ??? Virginia - ??? Winnifred - White-blonde hair, braided in various styles, pale complexion, and blue eyes. Winnifred is somewhat shy and doesn't like to do things by herself. Sje always defers to someone else if possible. Rather quiet and keeps to herself most of the time. Xanthe - ??? Yvonne - Sweet, compassionate, giving, and tries hard to make all of the kids happy in any way she can. She's a bit new to the job, and often finds herself asking questions of the other sisters. In reality she's probably just over-thinking the situation. She always goes the extra mile in whatever she's doing. African American with milk chocolate colored skin and black and orange braids pulled into a bun. Zarathustra - ???
