Anyone who hasn't seen it, go rent it NOW; if that's not an option, there are a lot of clips on youtube, and the script is available for your reading pleasure at lost-and-delirious.com. Someone posted the whole movie on youtube in French, so you can watch and read at the same time if you like.
It is a beautiful, awful, tragic story about two girls in love ripped apart by the pressures of family/society.
I cried my eyes out. Twice.

I watch movies to be entertained, to laugh, to learn, etc. Not to get depressed. Same reason I tend to avoid depressing music.

wow. that was the saddest movie, i think i have ever seen... like... wow. it is definitely one of my favorite movies ever. right next to Stranger than Fiction (AKA: the very best movie ever forever.).
it was so sad, but it was so, so, so, so, SO good... even if you don't like sad movies, you should watch it.

what the fark? i never even knew that website existed. thats a GREAT WEBSITE! well except when links are dead >>
not one for these types of movies (just saying in general, no offense) but i found it to be a very moving movie and to get an aspect from such individual's lives. but very sad. however i must say i found Brokeback Mountain a lot more depressing so maybe thats why Lost and Delirious to get to me as easily.
and yes btw im new to the guild. hello fellow gaians ^_^

Saint Chaos -- Oh, I know; I love it xd . I use it to watch movies that I'm too lazy/cheap to pay to go see in theatres. I watched Evan Almighty on that site. Hehehehehe.
And I never saw Brokeback Mountain... not allowed, so I couldn't rent it or anything, though I probably should the next time I'm at a house with a friend with liberal parents. xp

It's an awesome movie, I almost cried when Mouse said what she would write to her mother. I've only been able to see half of it but I love it!
