He hated the cabin. He hated it so much he could just die. Well it wasn't that impossible. Without a soul you were technically half-dead already, right? He felt that way, after all. What else was there to do but be depressed all the time?
Yet again, without a soul there was also other restrictions. Ver wasn't allowed to leave the cabin, ever. Why? Why was he cursed in such a cruel fashion. He wanted to go out and see the world too. It didn't seem fair at all. His heart pang with a sense of envy. For one of his younger brothers, who could leave the cabin because he had a soul. For his 'mothers' guardians, who could also leave with freedom. And once more, envy for the others that made the cabin more a meeting place than a home. They could leave as they wished.
The closest he would ever get to the outside world was looking at it through his window. He wasn't allowed to open the window, for if he did he would feel the urge to stick just a hand out. Doing just that one act could result him being turned instantly into ashes. That's what happens if you don't have a soul and you try to live outside with others who do. You disappear.
Ver doesn't have many friends because of this. Anyone he met so far has only talked to him briefly inside, before asking Ver to come outside with them. That turning point to go outside always ruined the conversation and left Ver unmotivated to talk any further to the person for a while. He wasn't trying to be mean; maybe they didn't know he wasn't allowed by natural laws. Yet talking about outside would always make him return to the stoop of that 'pang'. That pang of envy was the bane of his life.

She really didn't have much of a backbone, that much was for sure.
One would think that a grown kitsu like Sunday would be capable of fending off one overly energetic perma-kit like Tuuli, and, yet, despite no longer being small enough to be easily dragged from place to place, the yellow female was still afraid of the blue kitsu, taking to hiding whenever possible so as to find a way out of playing 'pretty flower princesses' with her. As it was, the bright yellow kitsu had taken shelter inside of the cabin, a place Tuuli had yet to think to search, despite dubbing it the "evil king's castle", wondering if she could still fit under a couch; Tuuli, being, well, Tuuli, had earlier gone on about exploring what had seemed to be a rather dangerous area given the kit's description, and Sunday, naturally, wanted no part in it. At the very least, being older meant that she knew the blue female's routine to some extent, and thus, was able to stay away for longer periods of time, though the life of a cowardly hermit certainly didn't seem like a good thing, safe as it was.
Glancing around her to make certain that no flower princesses of sorts would pop up from behind a curtain, Sunday allowed herself to finally relax, enjoying what she thought to be at least a silent cabin, if not empty.

For once the male was actually happy about keeping up his hair. Usually he didn't want to because it seemed so weird when it was up. His hair was very long, despite it looking short when it was up, so both his mothers would usually help him put up his hair. While he got his long hair from his mother Maru, Ver got his style from both mothers; Marudashi and Morodashi. He remembered blissful young days when he thought it was actual normal to have two mothers and no father. Once he reached his teen years though he found it incredibly odd.
So he sat in the corner with a magazine that he was able to bribe Panchira to get for him. Reading was the only thing he could do but reading on old things was getting boring. He only read things that were old and dead though. Then he wouldn't have to think about how upset he was that he could never be there and see it, and then come back to that envious pang. This magazine was a fashion magazine, and call him weird but he really did like fashion. Seeing his mothers wardrobe a while ago got him interested in it, with all their nice looking clothes.
The periphery of his pastel eyes, with no glint in them, noticed a blotch of yellow near the entrance of the cabin room. He then noticed it to be another full living kitsu and prompted to ignore it. The small fan blowing around the air filled room made blew his bangs to another direction as he carefully studied the design patterns on the dresses the models were wearing.

For a brief second, Sunday heard, or at least thought she heard, the sound of a kitsu aside from herself in the cabin, and, freezing for a moment, hoped she was horribly wrong about her fear that it was indeed Tuuli. When no bouncy-energetic kit leapt out at her with a crown of flowers, though, the yellow female hesitantly dared herself to take a step further from her current spot, making assurances to herself that she was simply being rather jumpy today, certainly not paranoid like Shreya had suggested.
Still, though, Sunday couldn't help but wonder if there actually was another kitsu in the cabin, and, if they were, as to how hostile they might be towards her. While Sunny certainly was far from being a threat, the adult worried in any case that she may have disturbed someone.
"Um...hello? Is...anyone here?" she tentavely asked.

Ver's periphery looked up again to notice the yellow kitsu had moved further into view. He still couldn't tell whether it was a girl or boy though. Then again from first look you would think he was a girl as well. In actuality, besides Jini, all his younger brothers looked like girls at first look. When it came to voices though they didn't sound completely girly, but he actually believes Jini has p.m.s because he would always whine and complain if he didn't get any sugar.
Now Ver was really okay with sugar. Yet Jini engulfed it by the pounds all the time, he was afraid that he would diabetic or a heart attack. It didn't seem like he actually cared about his brothers, especially with the fights he got into with Jini and Panchira but he did. After all he was the eldest brother. That and his mothers and guardians were so careless and relaxed with everything going around them so someone had to set some kind of example.
Right now his mothers, their guardians and his three little brothers were somewhere else. He had no idea where though, and that was a bother to his conscious. Unlike the other times when he would track down the silbings he decided to let them roam freely. They knew they weren't allowed to leave the cabin, except for Panchira, so there was no reason to follow them around and watch them like they're dogs. So he just kept flicking through the stack of fashion magazines he received and occasionally taking chocolate covered biscuit sticks, which Jini called 'pocky', and chewing at gingerly.YOU'VE FOUND TREASURE!! No response, and, yet, there were those sounds again, confirming Sunday's earlier question as to whether or not she was simply being paranoid. Of course, the confirmation as to another kitsu being around didn't make the yellow female any less of a coward, and so Sunny made her way through the cabin hesitantly, one step at a time, on the lookout for any hostile forces.
"Um...I'm really sorry and all," she began, feeling as if she was apologizing to a ghost, "If I'm interrupting anything. I'm hiding from someone."
Sunday failed to mention, of course, that said someone was a tiny little kit; no need to air that out in the open, after all.
"Is...is that alright? I'll leave if I'm not supposed to be here." the female called out to the rest of the cabin.

"When people hide don't they tend to keep quite?" Ver suddenly spoke out of nowhere, when he realized that while he could see the yellow kitsu it couldn't see him. It was a bit annoying for someone to think he didn't exist, since that was the only thing he could do. So why lead them on any further. It was like a bad date or something.
"I don't mind you stay here," he started again, flipping to another page of the magazine, "but if you want to stay here I highly suggest you don't be too loud, alright?"
That and he hated when people were too noisy. Panchira and Hadaka, with their age, have become less noisy and much more stable, and he was more than glad. But in families, they say, there will always be a 1/4 member of said family that will not develop in maturity through age. That 'member' was his brother, Jiinifukuru, or Jini for short.
Even as an adult now Jini was still the smallest and most annoying member of all four brothers. Jini had things to laugh at his other three brothers easily. For example, they all apparently looked like females with their long girl locks, courtesy of their two mothers. He was the only one of them all who didn't look ridiculously feminine. Lucky sugar hyped jerk.

He had a point there, now that Sunday thought of it; she really should have kept quiet instead of announcing her precence to the entire cabin, but it was a tad too late to do anything about it now, short of making a run for it and finding a new hiding place, something that the yellow female deemed too risky. "Sorry," she said, in a much quieter tone of voice, "I'll try not to make any loud noises, promise."
And she meant it, too; being as horribly afraid and shy as she tended to be, Sunny generally tended to do her best to keep as quiet as possible when needed, which, now that she realized, had made her the rough equivalent of a doormat, all too likely the reason the kitsu was always dragged about by a tiny little kit who would never grow. So as to not offend the other kitsu that lived in the cabin, Sunday proceeded towards the nearest stationary object where she could conceal herself if needed.
It certainly seemed as if the adult was getting herself into one mess after another, that was for sure.

Ver made a sigh of annoyance. Not to the yellow colored female but more or less to himself. Shaking his box of pocky it had become apparent that he had run out of the stale chocolate covered biscuit stick substance. He didn't want to get up and walk over to his small hideout box in the room but what choice did he have? His mothers, their guardians and his three younger brothers wouldn't come back until much later in the day so there was no point of making and eating dinner for himself.
Putting down the magazine flat on the ground, opened so that he wouldn't lose his page he stalked over to his small kitchen in the cabin. The part of the cabin he was in now was ruffly abandoned--due to it being so deep in the cabin--so his small dysfunctional 'family' decided to camp out around this area. This area was the kitchen, dining and his small 'reading area'. After dinner was over he would just sit here hiding candy in places his brothers wouldn't think of looking in, reading some old books and maybe napping. Plus it would be the perfect place to look out for Jini when he was trying to engulf even more sugar into himself.
On the way to the kitchen, which was across the room from where he sat, he finally got a full detailed look at the yellow kitsu. As he suspected the kitsu was a girl, and an extremely bright one for that manner. Blending in with such a noticeable pelt is quite difficult. Yet who was she hiding from in the first place?
"If you don't mind me asking, who're you hiding from?" Ver took out from his mind, trying to count how many dots the kitsu had on her pelt.

Sunday paused as she Ver inquired as to whom had caused her to go into hiding, wondering how best to work her way around telling the truth; there was the fear, after all, that he wasn't the type to simply laugh off the fact that the yellow female was hiding from a kit, and would shove her right back outside to face the music. She realized, of course, that this was a rather unfounded paranoia, and that she shouldn't make haste to make such assumptions, but at the same time...
"Someone," Sunny finally said, in a rather vague manner at that, "I'm hiding from another kitsu."
Another pause.
"Tuuli."

Tuuli. That one name, beginning with a T and ending with an I. For some reason Ver felt some familiarity with that name. Did he meet this Tuuli before and just didn't remember it? Could be possible. Due to his lack of soul he lacks a connection with his memories which are usually stored within a soul. He still remembers things like his family and basic skills like reading, talking, walking and the other 'ing'ings. Yet when it came to acquaintances he had none...none that he could remember at least.
"Why are you hiding from this 'Tuuli'? Is Tuuli a carnivorous monster that wants to peel off your flesh?" He was reading way too many fantasy and horror books for his own good. He felt icky now; talking about something so stupid. But this kit was a full-grown adult. It should be able to fend for itself without hiding. After all it would be a child if it could not protect itself.
"Well whatever you decide to do, remember your dignity is always at stake," he simply put it in a riddle. He was quite good at that. His name did mean riddle and he was proud to say he was the only family member that didn't have a disgusting perverted name meaning (Jini's full name meaning was personally disgusting he may add). He opened a cabinet door, snatching the closet red box of pocky he could find inside.
"You want some?" He inquired, looking back down at the yellow adult, offering some of his precious junk food. After all, he assumed that the other would be hiding for quite some time.

Possibly, possibly not; Tuuli seemed to make herself a household name in some cases, with the things she got herself into and the kitsu she met. It wouldn't be unheard of for someone to hear of the perma-kit, anyways, who thought she was a princess.
"No," Sunday admitted, shaking her head, "She's, um..."
It seemed so easy to describe Tuuli as a menace despite her small size, and, yet, Sunny couldn't bring herself to get the words out.
"She's a...kit. A perma-kit. Who thinks she's a princess of flowers."
And who really scared Sunday ever since she herself was a kit, but that was another matter for another day. "She just has this way of being...I don't know. She can be scary when she wants to be, and really persistant."
The yellow female listened to Ver's words, not particularly making much sense of them, but nodded nonetheless. "Um...I'll keep that in mind," she told him, figuring it was the best answer possible.
At the offer of the pocky, Sunday paused. "Sure," she said, "What is it, though?" the adult asked, glancing at it curiously.

Ver's eyebrow peaked in interest. Perma-kit? He heard that term before but couldn't remember where. Perhaps it was all in his head? He shrugged, knowing well enough though that it meant that the yellow kitsu was afraid of a little kit. "So you're scared of a kid?" Ver asked confused. He wouldn't say it's pathetic. He was afraid of Jini's hyperactive tendencies and Ver was twice as big as his little brother. Not a complete child of course, but he was still always paranoid about the younger one.
Ver shrugged. "Kids are quite persistent. They don't like being wrong because all children are born stubborn. Sad enough; stubbornness is something that continues for many years," he sighed, nibbling quickly on another stick of pocky.
"Pocky is a biscuit stick coated with chocolate. It's quite addictive, I'm afraid," Ver mused, taking another stick as he finished his next one. He didn't mind the addiction, since he didn't really gain weight easily and pocky didn't have too much sugar or junk in it since the chocolate already dried.
