Has anybody seen this rather interesting documentary? I just watched it on showtime.
It's about the legalization of Medicinal Marahana, it shows the oppenants and the people for it.
Show people being treated with pot, and it shows the DEA.
Watch it, and the head DEA guy says "We could use all the evidence that pot is okay and legalize it and attack the actual dangerous drugs, Heroine and Methenphetamines, but society would collapse."

The DEA is a seriously screwed up organization. Half their agents are either drunks or addicted to narcotics or both. o/~ isn't it ironic... o/~

On a Lunacy Fringe I read about this today, actually. Is it worth watching? At first I didn't think so, but after turning it on thinking it'd be worth a couple high induced laughs. It turned out to be a rather good documentary.

I'm watching right now... definitely interesting. Easily a biased work, of course, but the information presented is relevant and interesting.
And I've got a new favorite quote -- "The war on drugs is the last dying smell from the Nixon administration."

I keep seeing it when it's more than half over. So instead I find something else.
I need to check before Weeds gets on, that's the first time I noticed it.

Funny thing about the DEA. I went to my friends house, who's dad is an Ex-DEA agent and Green Beret. He had no problem with me, 17 years old, getting drunk.
