**In many of the booths there are items that go along with them. Currently they are being colored so please be patient! They'll be out soon, but that doesn't mean you can't rp yourself getting them since many are unlimited! [WELCOME!] Ahh…such a lovely day it has turned out to be in the local park of Barton. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and the temperature is just right. It is simply a perfect day to have a festival to celebrate summertime! It seems that the people of Lab [305] have seen this as well, and have set up festive booths neatly along the paved streets of the sunny park. Certainly it is not a crime to take advantage of such great weather and have a fundraising event for the destroyed lab…right? Fliers have been handed out, posters have been placed along various street signs beforehand, and banners hang from tree limbs to welcome visitors of the event. Yep, everything seems to be in order. So come and enjoy a day in the sun and have tons of fun! Maybe donate a few dollars as well….All you have to do is listen to the rules! [ General Rules ] [.01] Respect all your fellow RPers. This goes without saying. [.02] Read each post on the front page carefully. Each area has its own special rule, make sure you read over them and understand what is required of you. [.03] Non-owners must have an RP profile posted under "Non-Owner Character Profile" under the "Biotic Interactions" section of the guild. If you have not yet done so please complete a profile before you participate in this RP. It’s just easier for us! [.04] All other Lab Rules apply & Follow the Gaia T.O.S. The lab rules can be found on the first page of the Lab thread. The Gaia TOS should be followed under all circumstances, this should also go without saying! [.05] Booth Volunteers are there as RP facilitators - Lab staff and Raevens/owners/non-owners at the booths are there to help facilitate the RP. Please respect them as they will be working hard just so you will have a better RP experience. [ RP Rules ][.01] Please post In Character (IC) in this thread. If you feel the need to comment OOC-ly, please put it between brackets [[ ]] or (( )) or whatever fancy brackets you like to use. [.02] IC post is enforced. Every post needs to contain IC content! You cannot just post an OOC comment in this thread without any form of IC roleplaying. [.03] No extensive l337 or n00b language allowed. [.04] No God-modding. Even if your character has godly powers, you still can't godmod and kill all the other Raevans or owners. If you do there will be no one to RP with you anymore! And even Gods have weaknesses!! Keep in mind that basically, "assuming" another character's reaction in any way, shape or form counts as god-modding! [.05] Proper English is required.[.06] Questions? [CHIMERA PETTING ZOO & RAFFLE!] Beneath the welcoming banners that also wish the lab a happy anniversary sits a rather large booth that rests next to an equally large pen. Strange noises that could come from an array of animals sound from the pen as odd creatures, one could only imagine to find in their dreams, walk around in freshly placed hay. Some are housed in glass bowls that stand upon boxes, while others flutter about in the air; happily looking at the new sights and colors before them. There even seems to be one menacing looking sheep sitting close to the wired pen who reaches through to poke unsuspecting passer byers as they walk by. A sign, looking like a small child wrote it in paint, hangs over the booth that reads, “Petting Zoo!” Colorful paper lines the stall where a young boy and a young girl sit, trying to sort through messy fliers. Upon closer inspection, it doesn’t seem like it is just a petting zoo though. By coming closer to the booth, one can see a wooden sign pointing to the pen that reads in bright red letters, “ADOPT ME”. Now, the newly placed question that could mean the world to some people is, how on earth is someone supposed to adopt a creature like this? Well, the rules are stated here: There will be 6 Chimeras up for raffle throughout the whole event!! 2 each week, one species each week!! Now this raffle is a little different, you have to roll ONE 6-sided dice, and the amount you got will be the amount of tickets you have for the raffle!! To take part, please post the following line in the thread, bolded - SHOT OF LAUGHTER ...and roll as well in the same post. Only the first post/roll counts!! Remember, you have to post the line AND roll in the same post!! The lucky draw roll will be done by the end of each week to see who is the lucky winner of the chimeras! List of participants and their numbering is in the following post! Other than Chimera owners everyone else can take part in this raffle!! Including Raevan owners. [.Round 1 - Butterflox]

[DATE AUCTION!] If someone were continue to walk, a medium-sized stage that is lined with satin colored curtains would be the biggest sight they would see. Chairs sit in a straight row in front of it, enough of them to fit a good amount of people who might want to see what is to be viewed. In big bright letters, a sign close to the stage reads “DATE AUCTION”. Oooh la la! So it looks like some lucky person who is willing to fork over some of their cash will get a date with a raevan owner! Time: July 15th to July 16th(times to be announced) The lucky people to be auctioned off for the good of the lab are: -Mr. Julian Sweet = 15
-Mr. We’rika =7
-Miss. Natsuki Yanagitanti =10
-Miss. Shuura Yamizuki =19The theme for Mr. Sweet and Miss. Yamizuki is that of a butler and a maid. Miss. Yanagitanti and Mr. We’rika follow a theme that is classy and sophisticated. The How To:By now, any person who is eager to date one of the lovely and handsome owners up for auction is probably wondering how they can get such a date. The four participants each have a number within the range of 1 to 20. Whoever is trying for someone who is up for auction, will need to pick a random number that is in that range. The closest they are to the persons "secret" number, such as if Mr.Sweet is a 5, and I get a 6 or a 4, I receive him as my date. It’s that simple! The rounding is done so we can ship out the dates quick so you can enjoy them longer. First to roll the number get's it. Also, if you were to roll Shuura's number, when it is Julian's turn up, you cannot have her as your date. You must try again when she is up. Do you not know how to get your random number? Follow these instructions:*When posting, before you post hit the post action. *Go into random number. *Put in 1 as your lowest number and 20 as your highest number. *From there, it’s up to luck and chance! One by one, a name will be called out on the speaker to tell visitors which of the auction items...erm…people are up on the stage ready to have a date. The date will be done during the event, and if you wish to have more dates with your companion then you can set up a time yourselves.

[SUMMER COOK OFF!] Long tables sit with plastic table cloths draped over them and dappled with printed flowers line one area of the festival. A sign in big bold letters that stands beside the table reads, “SUMMER COOK OFF!” Yum! What a tasty idea! Already on the table are a few dishes of summery goodness, just waiting to be tasted by the happily awaiting judges. Don’t worry though, just because there is food on the table does not mean that your chance to enter in the game will be over with! The hungry judges are: Aphismet
Dr.KyouTime: Second week, still to be thought out. RULES:Simple and sweet just like a summer treat! The game is for you, the player, to find a delicious dessert picture, photo or drawing found on the internet or done by you, and describe it so it screams mouthwatering goodness! Whoever has the best described that it can make the eyes glow and even cause the stomach to growl will win! Make sure your treat is something you would enjoy in summer too! (A large thanks to Natsuki for being super sweet and very helpful to gather up the entries that we have so far and organize them. :3) Ac.Wings (( Firstly... YUM YUM YUM! After all the excitement, there is even more good news! Finally! The ingredients have arrived! That means the cook off event for our festival can now commence! So get yourself over to the cook off booth, sign your name on the entry sheet, and place your bum at the a table and start whiping up a tasty treat! Remember! Simple and sweet just like a summer treat! The game is easy too! For the first part, you'll need to find a delicious dessert picture that is either a photograph, or a drawing that you found on the internet or created yourself. The second part is that you need to describe the image you found so that it screams mouthwatering goodness! Whoever has described their delicacy with what the judges are looking for will win! Oh! The summer goodie can either be a photo or a drawing. ** Once you enter and place your post about your treat in the thread you can leave the booth and continue to fool around at the festival. You don't HAVE to hang out at the cook off table and await judging. ** You can post your image with the description. It shouldn't be separate. Begins: August 07, 1:00PM

You just go over to the petting zoo when you are ready, tell the worker who you are, and there ya go! You will have your bundle of joy in mere minutes! 8D B) For the cook-off go to the cook off stall and you can begin your post/entry from there. Simply describe your character going over to the stall, signing their name on the contestant's sign-in paper, and moving themselves over to the long tables beside the booth that have the ingredients they need to make their summer delight. Once they have whipped up their summer goodie, they can leave it on the table to be judged. (Don't worry, your name will be placed on your treat so no one can steal your treat. XD) I hope that is a better explanation. Once you have entered your submission (just by posting it in the festival thread), you can go back to hanging out at the rest of the festival. On Friday at the correct time, an announcement will be made in the festival thread of who won the cook off. :3 IC-ly it will be that raspy voice on the announcement system calling all entries back to the cook off spot. XD))

[REFRESHMENT BOOTH!] A refreshment booth selling tasty desserts and de-parching liquids sits in the array of colors from the other festival stalls. Manning the booth is two young men...erm…half-men. Manning the drinks is Rivener, the dessert judge Aphismet’s charge. While the other one who has more of a body to him is Lazarus, Dr. Kyou’s hell-raiser. (Clearly the reason behind this fundraising/anniversary event) To all who plan on going to the booth to get something to fill their stomachs…You are warned that neither are good with the people folk. Both have the tendency to be rather nasty when they are angered or annoyed in the slightest. Certainly their tempers have been raised higher as they float around in the connected booths, boiling over the fact that they have to work for no real reason. Hand-written menus sit on the counter, showing off various drinks and desserts being sold at the stall.

[MERCHANDISE BOOTH] Along the row of booths sits a peculiar stall largely labeled, “MERCHANDISE!!!!” Hmm….seems as though the lab has decided to branch out and go into the marketing business. Maybe the good doctor got the brilliant idea of advertising his lab in hopes of a millionaire spotting it and giving him a million dollars to recreate the lab! Oh if only dreams such as that could come true! Sitting at the booth and looking out into the crowd sits a young boy named Isi. Beside him is Eiry, another being of Dr. Kyou’s destroyed lab. There is an arrangement of items such as T-shirts, mugs, key chains, colorful balloons, and even to bobbleheads placed around and inside the booth. So get them while they’re in stock! First come! First serve! T-SHIRTS: unlimited
BALLOONS: unlimited MUGS: unlimited RAEVAN KEYCHAINS: 14/14 RAEVAN BOBBLEHEADS: 14/14 **The items are being revealed on various days, so you’ll have to keep checking back in to see which is up for grabs throughout the three weeks!

Behind them, sitting patiently in her chair is Miss Alex. The beautiful but spunky young woman Alex, who is thankfully good with money, sits ready to help Sevilin if a sudden money mayhem was to occur. The little charms that are very decorative and adorable are labeled on a two sheets of paper that hang from the two wood pieces that hold the booth up. SLUMBER CLOUD: Sure to bring you peaceful slumbers with wonderful dreams in no time. A true sure-fire and guaranteed way to get a full night of sleep with ease. HAPPY SUN: This little sun is sure to make your rainy days go away and put a big smile on your face! With the need of no drugs! LUCKY RABBIT: Did you break a mirror and now you have seven years of bad luck? Get rid of that bad luck with this little charm! It’s sure to bring you great luck and look adorable in doing so.
RICH KITTY: Poor? Well forget that! With this charm you’ll be swimming in dough before you know it!

[THE OWNERS MINI-GARAGE SALE BOOTH!] An odd looking booth sits in the middle of everything, cluttered with belongings owners of the raevan’s might find familiar. Yes, it is true, the lab has decided to gather up the belongings of some of their owners and try to sell them off to visitors of the festival. Rather unusual…but hey! If it makes some money, might as well see if it is a success. Somewhat like a mini-garage sale without the garage! WE HAVE THREE ITEMS UP FOR SALE CURRENTLY! THEY WILL GO ON SALE JULY 15th! CREEEEAK.
Isi sighed and he didn't even bother to look up from where he sat on a wooden stool to reach out lightning quick and snatch his ward's arm. He looked up from where he had been adjusting rows of neatly organized merchandise and frowned sternly at the minty raevan floating beside him.
"Eirdirsceol, I should have given you a middle name," he added the latter part as a fast undertone note-to-self, "Do not make any upgrades of any sort to this booth, understand? I don't want to be scaring away any customers and the last booth you ran was a complete failure. This booth is important. We need to raise funds, alright? To rebuild the place you came from."
Eiry, the ghostly will-o-the-wisp frei glanced over his shoulder at Isi from where he was attempting to loop strip around one of the support beams. In defeat, he undid the tie and tried to slink away from Isi's deadly glare. He believed that it was a power of some sort. One look from that evil eye and Eiry was frozen in the air like a hovering Popsicle. He would have to figure out how he did that, Eiry swore to himself silently.
The booth the two were managing was quaint and well-stocked. It had a canopy propped up above a table where rows of various Lab 305 merchandise lay in quiet battle formation on top of a green tablecloth. They had shirts that said, 'I <3 Lab 305!' and coffee mugs and bobble heads and more. They even had little pins that said various things, all related somehow to Lab 305. Isi turned away from Eiry, trusting that he wouldn't succumb to his mischief making tendencies again any time soon. He shifted again on his wooden stool and reached over to reposition his crutches against the side of the booth so that they wouldn't fall over. He wouldn't want to knock over his crutches and crawl to the ground in order to get them, (since Eiry would probably be too distracted by something to listen). Not only that, but he wouldn't want to knock into the cardboard boxes that were stockpiled underneath the merchandise table. They were filled with extra supplies of t-shirts and the other merchandise. They were a few boxes, but they were still a considerable amount to watch over.
Isi turned his eyes and watched the incoming trickle of people.

 Sam reveled in the heat as he strolled down the sidewalk. Summer was his favorite season for two reasons, one was the heat and the other was the beach. His workload also got lighter as schools was out and they needed less cleaning. Of course, it thined out his wallet, so it didn't count as a good thing. Maybe he would go to the beach to- WHACK! " Wad was thad!" he exclaimed spraled out on the hot cement rubbing his nose. He sat up and glared at what he had run into while daydreaming. It was a pole with some sort of flier, leave it to Sam to run into a pole with a rather large nail sticking out of it. Sam stood up and snatched the flier off the nail rubbing the place where the obtrusive nail had hit against his head. " A summer festival huh? For Lab[305]??" Sam's good mood was instantly spoiled. He thought that place had exploded a while ago. He had to go and... do... stuff... Yes! Do stuff! Sam quickly checked the address on the flier and then it was off to the park to free the repressed floating lab creatures! It was only a short walk from where he was and soon the large welcome banners and colorful booths came into view. Sam stopped across the street from it and carefully observed it. There didn't seem to be that much going on yet, and there weren't really all that many people. It wouldn't harm to pop in for an hour. Sam checked his appearance quickly in the shop window he was standing by. He didn't look that indiscreet... He was about as discrete as he could be with his appearance being as it was. " Ick my blonde roots are showing," he quickly affixed a bandana on his head to hide them and then he crossed the street to the festival.
