"It's a long way to the top if you want to Rock 'n Roll." That line from the AC/DC classic, "It's a Long Way to the Top," rings true for many legendary rock and metal bands who have persevered and overcome years of adversity to accomplish world-wide recognition. Writing good music is just one part of being successful. As difficult as that can be, creating and adhering to a sound marketing and business strategy is an equally important component to a musician’s success. http://www.icedearth.com/index.htmhttp://www.myspace.com/icedearth

I only have Night of the Stormrider, but I do really like it. I will also say that Iced Earth are one of the few Power Metal bands I like.

I have Horrorshow and Something Wicked This Way Comes oh and The blessed and the Damned, i think it's called. Love them all. However I miss Matt, I just don't like Tim, I don't think he fits well with Iced Earth.

I have "Night of the Stormrider", "Something Wicked This Way Comes", and "The Glorious Burden". One of my favorite bands. I like Barlow and Greeley the most. I really don't think The Ripper belongs.

Just saw them last night, and HOLY s**t it was amazing!!! Everyone has said "Oh, Barlow can't hold the high notes from Setian Massacre and Ten Thousand Strong! Its not in his range!". I have two words. Bull. s**t. It was AT LEAST the third date in a row, and he still pulled it off. The set was great, and good mix, only Burnt Offerings was missing, and they played plenty from the two new ones. What would be cool to see, in my opinion, is either a Dream Theater style "An Evening With Iced Earth" thing, or two dates back to back, but either way, Framing Armageddon and The Crucible of Man in their entirety.
