Well, I don't really hate the sun, it's just after getting burnt all over my back, shoulders and face while having fun at the waterpark in Kings Dominion, you kinda feel angry. For those who don't know, Kings Dominion is a theme park.

Luckily, I heal from sunburns rather quickly, so I should be fine in a few days.

When I was about 12 I went to a waterpark for what was supposed to be a couple of hours. I'd been out a lot that summer, so I figured I could manage without sunscreen.

8 hours later...

It was awful. I had to sit in a bathtub of cool water and have chilled Noxzema applied to my huge, juicy blisters for a week after. I couldn't sleep at night, and the blisters were popping all the time. *shudders* I still have scars from them.

So I'm with you. Glad I work the night shift!

I'm lucky, I don't get sunburned easily neutral And no, I do not use sunscreen stare

Sadly, I don't tan either crying

Same ;__;

I had this one huge-a** blister on my shoulder that kept growing, and when I poked it it was like... rubbery.

*shudders*

I stayed indoors during the daytime for the rest of the summer, when I could avoid going outside.

Only part of me tans anymore... Its sad I can lay in the sun all day and my arms and face are the only places not white. My legs are the worst... so I don't even try anymore.
When I was younger I would tan a nice golden brown... now I'm uneven crying

I'm in the same boat you were. This morning I woke up because of the pain from the sunburn only to find that it has turned into an even nastier burn (might be 2nd degree) complete with nasty blisters. It's gonna be one hell of a night.

I did wear sunblock, the problem was I didn't put enough on my shoulders. My Dad, Sister and Brother don't burn that easily. When they do, it's usually bad. My Mom and I burn rather easily, but it's not that bad.

EDIT: My sunburn is going from bad to worse. It now feels like 1000's of fire ants are crawling around on my back and biting me. It's really irritating and hurts like hell

You are lucky. My burn is steadily getting worse. Now it feels like I have fire ants crawling around on and biting my back. It really ******** hurts and irritates the living s**t outta me.

Today it was 90 degrees. Humidity forced the thermometer up past 110. It was brutal. Thankfully, the sun was hidden behind clouds for most of the day.

Unlucky b*****d! Even with humidity, the heat didn't go past 103. It was quite sad.

Do you have someone putting aloe on your back every few minets? Thats the onlything that will help. If your alirgic to aloe that would suck...

I did that, and I don't have any allergies to aloe. It helped a little bit, but it still hurt like hell.
