I have been a member of the CB thread for a while. I always try and give out at least 100g in gold/items. I have odd insane moments. I've donated 1k a few times and once I gave someone 30 inks for their quest, (they got me in the next trade and gave me 25g lol)
but the point of this post is there are a few anoying people in the CB thread who are just there to take advantage. they give 10g every time and have things in their posts like "give me a minimum of 50g or I will cancel her trade"
Theres also a certain someone who comes to the CB thread regularly and skips 99% of the people she should be donating to, and is on tons of blacklists jenellesamaroo I didn't pm her when she skipped me because other people said she had been rude when they pmd her. She even says in her profile that her gold is getting back up because she's on a thread with some generous donators.. If I go to the thread and shes on i leave because I think what shes doing is almost as bad as scming. stare

I personally think that greedy n00bs aren't as bad as greedy rich gaians, who only donate like 5g (less than the min.) and just take advantage of the thread and expect great donations. Really.

Really. I agree. They use the place as a way to get more money out of people.. which is just ridiculous. People who donate starter sets also really piss me off.

There are a few regular individuals over on the CB forum as well who always donate 10 gold and nothing more. I've also come across one person who always begs for clothes or gold when they send you their trade if they happen to be below you. Then there are always the annoying individuals who DEMAND that you give them a certain amount of gold or they will cancel the trade then report you for failing to donate what they wanted. Recently I've also come across some people who demand that you must start a trade with them first if they are below you or you won't get your donation. It's just wrong.
I've been avoiding the CB thread for a week now hoping things would get a bit better. Maybe I should participate again and see how things are.

Greedy people altogether. Most of the time they're rude as hell too. D: The ones that expect these super awesome donations and give nothing more than the minimum are worse than any skipper or bumper. And Austin should add into the rules not to give starter items. Yeah. >.<

I sometimes try to give things on peoples lists, if they are asking for tokens then I give tokens, or tickets or inks if I have them spare.
sometimes if I'm low on gold I give out something like flame shirts and chicken masks that I got in the daily chance. at least they can be sold and I always try to give more than one.. I would only ever give starter items if people asked for them.
I think the CB thread should be used as fun rather than a way to make serious gold.
Skippers are very annoying though.

I hate it when people give so little when you give so much. I don't donate very often, it's cause I don't have much of anything to donate, so I give as much as I can spare. Until recently, I haven't had a lot of gold... but some VERY generous people*points at siggy*. Have given me wonderful donations that I thank them for^^ and I've gotten my gold up to 16k.

And what comes around - will be very nice things from miss Mithra in the future biggrin

I hate skippers alot, : I get skipped so much its not even funny. But there is a group worse than skippers, the people who will only donate you once, than anyother time you happen to be over them its 'Sorry, I only donate to each person once, to bad for you while I get a donation and I donate to the person above you, which gives them 2 donations.'
~sigh~
But oh well, and I don't think we should complain about the people who only give 10 gold or give you lame items where their total equals ten gold. That is the min so one should not complain. whether its annoying or not.

You have a point, but most of my recieved donations are less than 10g nowadays...but I'm used to it now, so it's not as bothering.

I agree, jenellesamaroo has skipped me multiples times. Although there was one instance that I sent her a trade saying, "don't forget about me" and she actually donated the minimum. I was extremely suprised.
