So I'm sure you've all heard of the coming battle system.
As you can see I'm dressed for the occasion
this thread is to discuss all subjects regarding the gaia battle system.

I have never in my life played an MMORPG so I have no idea how it'll work. I mean I've played RPG's before-Diablo,Diablo II and Oblivion(for the XBox360) but I'm a bit confused about all this ring stuff and how you gain different experience with each ring. I'm excited about it though, I hope it's good, it reminds me of a manga about a virtual MMORPG which I loved. (The manga was called .Hack//Legend of the Twilight just FYI)

Can't say I'm interested in it to be honest. I don't like MMORPGs, and I'm presuming it'll be something similar to that. But ya never know..I'll wait to see what it's like when it's out. All I'm interested in is getting weapons on my avatar 3nodding

I can't wait.
Finally a game where you can put a ring on every finger. Plus you can infuse them with new powers as you go on, sounds like we'll be spending tons of time on this, depending on how rare the rings are and how long it takes to level them.
PS. Fun title.. Gaia instead of Sparta..

seems to be a rather unique aproach to things... and I for one am rather fond of the concept of there being an mmo system (or any form of RP system for that matter) which allows more then one ring per hand... it has always annoyed me that the programmers always seem to ignore the possibility of having more then one ring on each finger... also the ability to continually upgrade the rings does seem to give notable advantages to any willing enough to spend enough time working on them... ninja

Ah I see, that's straightforward enough then. Thanks for the explanation smile

I can't wait to try it out. It looks like a fun and different way to play, also since you're using your avatar in the battle system everyone's characters will look as different as they want them to. It should be fun.

That is true, all the different avatars will add some dynamic gameplay, it's a shame the weapons won't move though.

Yea but even if they could imagine there would much more lagging because everyone will have weapons and all the weapons will be moving to much and slow down the system
