KYLIE JOINS THE DOCTOR FOR CHRISTMAS SPECIAL!
The BBC has confirmed that Kylie will be joining the Doctor Who cast in a major lead role in an hour long Christmas special to be broadcast in December 2007! Quote: The BBC has confirmed that Kylie will be joining the Doctor Who cast in a major lead role in an hour long Christmas special to be broadcast in December 2007! Kylie will be joining David Tennant for the episode, Voyage Of The Damned. The production team has also confirmed that the storyline will follow on directly from the ending of series three where viewers witnessed The Titanic crash through the Tardis walls... The episode has been written by Doctor Who's executive producer and head writer Russell T Davies who comments: "We are delighted and excited to announce that Kylie Minogue will be joining the Doctor. Doctor Who Xmas specials are always a joy and we feel very confident that this will be the most ambitious and best Christmas episode yet." Kylie said: "It is an incredible thrill to be joining David and the entire Dr Who production for this year's Christmas speical. wink lol Sorry about that matsuoprower. But I couldn't help it. I saw Kylie Minogue in Doctor Who's talks everywhere. On wikipedia:talk somebody said yes and somebody say that is only rumour. And ever since I saw the 'leaked-handwriting-paper' of Kylie asked when is the Russell T.D. scripts will arrive. Well...she is a fan of Doctor Who. In one of her concerts during the last song she has dancers come out as Cybermen. If I can find the picture again, I will post the link. So at least she knows what Doctor Who is.
Although, please don't hit me for saying this, if this doesn't prove that RTD is a gay man then I don't know what will. wink

Eris, I agree with what you said about RTD. We all need to hear how he speak s and laugh during the Doctor Who Commentaries on Doctor Who Official website. I don't know what is his preference though since I don't think it matters very much. Banana? Captain Jack? Scissor Sisters? tsk tsk wink And now Kylie
As far as I know, she most likely got influence by her stylist. I am not even 50% she is a fan of Doctor who. The Dance of the Cyberman section of her Homecoming Tour AND Silvanemesis section in Fever Tour 99% is her stylist idea. He is the big fan of doctor who. 3nodding Mostly likely its his idea to ask Kylie be a character inside Doctor Who.

There are two version of rumours which has been flying around. (1) She will be a waitress on Titanic. (2) she will be Romana (Who is Romana? here is the fact sheet: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romana) But either way, she will be the Doctor's companion for that one-off episode.

Aw, no... I was kinda half-hoping that that was just a rumour. Now I've only got to hope they don't bring the robot-santas back for another year. rolleyes Ah well, we'll see. Hopefully they'll suprise me and it'll actually be good!

I don't understand why many are so negatives about this. What is wrong with Kylie? It's Russell T Davis scripts not Kylie. If they don't like it, they will cut until they are happy to broadcast it. And they promised it will be the biggest and best christmas special ever. So why say oh no this and that?
