Character Stats Reference Guide

There are a few things to remember before assigning stats to your character:

-You don't have to max out your points. It doesn't make sense for some characters to have high stats in everything.
-Be realistic. A speed of 10 is equivalent to Quicksilver or the Flash. Unless your character has super speed as a power, you're not going to have a stat of 10.
-Stat points will be awarded as time moves along as a reward to good posting and other things. So eventually your cap may move above 55.

History:

Was born in a mountain town called Collingwood in Ontario. Her mother was building a mountain resort from the ground up and her father was always on the road as a trucker. Her mother, Rena, was a low level empathic mutant. Her father had no problems with mutants; however, he wanted nothing to do with them. He didn't know of his wife's ability since it wasn't physical. Allison was born
with her mutation already apparent. She was born with a blue/black velvet like fur across her skin and her hair was just as dark. Her father, being on the road, had no idea his daughter was born a mutant.

Realizing almost immediately that her daughter was an empathic and elemental metamorph, Rena tried to use her own empathic abilities to change the way Allison's form was kept. Forcing thoughts of beauty onto her daughter, she was able to help sculpt the young mutant's form. For several years, they were able to keep the secret of Allison's form. Her father knew she was a mutant because she did have empathic abilities and could tell them things like when it was going to rain or other small things. When she was four, her guise was dropped when out of the presence of her mother. Allison had never really been taught how to use her power. One night while her father was going on a drunken tyraid, his emotions became so overwhelming for her that she dropped the beautiful blonde form she carried and her skin and hair became the dark, demon-like form she was born with.

Her father was insulted that his daughter was naturally like this and attacked her. Allison's older brother defended her, but got caught with two broken ribs for doing so. Bryan Dawn forbade his daughter for ever showing her form again, and if she did, she would be banished from the family. Afraid of being cast out, Allison became afraid of her power and ashamed of herself. Trying to find her daughter some comfort, Rena sought to send Allison to the Xavier Institute. Convincing Bryan that it was a private school for intelligent students, Rena could send Allison with no argument or trouble. Allison was twelve at the time.

The school would have been great, but on her way to attend, it happened to be one of the many times the Xavier school would be decimated. Not wanting to join a school where she was not safe, Allison decided to take her fate into her own hands and went on her way. Not far for the Xavier Mansion, Allison encountered Mystique who convinced Allison to let her be her teacher. Allison trusted Mystique immediately because the woman appeared quite similar to her with the blue skin. Never stepping into the lime light, Allison learned about her metamorph powers in teh background behind Mystique's villain and hero runs; however, whenever Mystique asked Allison to help her kill her son, Graydon Creed, Allison's greater sense of good prevailed and she decided it was time for her to part ways with her teacher. She may not agree with the man, but she knew killing him outright wasn't just. She was sixteen when she left Mystique and had considerable knowledge and control over her power.

Traveling back to Canada, she sought out Alpha Flight who she had read about in the news. On the way to find Alpha Flight, she encountered a robbery in the works in the vicinity of Niagara Falls. Having a greater sense of duty, Allison used her elemental abilities to stop the crime. She became somewhat of a local hero. Deciding not to pursue another team to make her happy, she decided to work on her own out of Niagara Falls... wanting to keep the beautiful area safe and peaceful. The natural wonder that the place was kept her senses intrigued.

Often at night she would sneak onto edge of the falls and stand, using her abilities to leverage herself. Her body would react making her almost a reflection of the water. This made her somewhat of a real Lady of the Lake to the people... a legend and a myth. She found real happiness and took on a comforting form: a red haired goddess for the people...

At 18, she fell in love with a fellow mutant native to Buffalo, NY. David Doyle was a fire mutant and his power made him very attractive to her because of her own. She ignored the inner demon that he carried with him which conflicted with her own ideals. At 19, they married. David often assisted Allison, now called Ceres as a codename, on her missions. She loved him dearly but was concerned with his walking on the edge of his power, often times going too far with it.

During her self appointed mission to stop a car jacker, David's demons came out. When the fugitive turned out to be a mutant, she fought back. The mutant was a metal controller and turned earth metals and shrapnel onto Allison, injuring her. Angered, David went on a tear trying to capture his now enemy. When David caught up with the man, the man had hidden himself in his own home. When the man's wife wouldn't give him up to David, David torched the home killing the man, his wife, and seriously injuring their teenage daughter. David justified it by saying they shouldn't have hid a fugitive. Allison never forgave him, did not defend him when the authorities came for him for murder, and she filed for divorce. Feeling like she let her powers influence the way she felt about him rather than seeing his disregard for life, she isolated herself from having many personal relationships.

When she was 23, she aided Captain America and Iron Man on a mission while they were in the area. After this time, she was asked to work for the Avengers. She accepted only if she could be a reserve member working out of her home town. Her sense of duty was to the people of Niagara and she felt her leaving would be a detriment to the people. Whenever the Avengers needed her assistance, she accepted and went to work.

Now, as her Earth needs her and answering the call by Reed Richards... she will join her new team and help bring Earth out of chaos.

[You can use a minimum of 50 points and a maximum of 60. You do not have to use all of your points if it doesn't make sense for your character.]

Personal Strengths: Forellen is a well rounded fighter. She's comfortable with fighting with her powers and physically powerful enough to fight without them or mix it up and try to confuse her opponent. She is an excellent tracker and in any K-9 form is a capable huntress and a dangerous opponent.
Personal Weaknesses: She’s very shy around other people due to the often harsh reactions she gets from her appearance. Meaning she’ll often keep to the back and keep covered up even when there’s no reason to be so.

Personality: Forellen is a cautious individual. Years of abuse at the hands of people have left her with a rather skewed view of how to deal with people.

History:

Forellen was born on July 16, 1983 at about 3:30 PM in Boston MA. She appeared for all intents and purpose she appeared to be a normal healthy baby and that belief continued for a large portion of her childhood. Her mother and father were both killed in a tragic car accident. Since then she was bounced around from foster home to foster home. Then her mutant gene kicked in and disaster struck in it’s wake. She was destine to be a shape shifter. Unfortunately her power largely untrained and untested malfunctioned catastrophically by trying to shift into almost a dozen animals at the same time. When it was over she was stuck in her current appearance and had no way of fixing herself.

To her benefit her current parents were very sympathetic towards mutants. They talked it over and tried everything they could think of to reverse her condition. Her condition however made it hard for her to do anything at all. She remained in her room becoming more and more withdrawn. Her attempts to keep in touch with her friends was a disaster her friends immediately turned on her driving her further into seclusion. Her parents trying to help her sent her to Xaviers’ school. Things there were okay. Things were always chaotic there. She did however get an image inducer from Xavier while they worked on trying to straighten out her bodies problem. With a lot of hard work and some pain they managed to get rid of her wings but from there they hit a glass ceiling with no treatment seemingly working.

Forellen still had problems interacting with other students. Many of them were often startled by her appearance and that made her uncomfortable. Even though she made a few close friends she was still a bit withdrawn though it wasn’t to the extent that she had been when she had arrived at the school. She stayed through three attacks against it before one injured her fairly badly. It was then she decided to say good bye.

Once on her own she was at a loss as to what she should do with her life. She then remembered that book she had been working on while she was at the school and for kicks sent it in to a publisher to see how well it would take. She also took up giving tours in Yellowstone National Park. She loved being outdoors but people were starting to get suspicious of her mutant status. So she quit that job and returned to Buffalo to her apartment, which Xavier was kind enough to have kept for her, to find that the publisher had accepted her book and was looking for something more. He also liked the artwork she provided for it.

She now had a life a life she enjoyed. She wrote fantasy novels for a living and provided the artwork for their covers herself under the pen name of Shifter. The money she brought in was good enough so that she didn’t have to worry about herself anymore. She kept her affiliation with Xavier sort of loose. Occasionally helping out him and the X-men on missions that required her unique specializations. She enjoyed getting out with them because it gave her fuel for her writing. After the chaos of the merger she’s got a lot of material to fuel dozens of books but now wasn’t the time for writing. Charles Xavier had recommended her to Reed Richards. She had met Mister Richards on a few occasions when he tried to help her fix her body. He was responsible for the suppression of her wings and for that reason alone she would venture fourth from her apartment and aid him in saving this brand new world they suddenly found themselves in.

Name: Carmine Hirsch
Codename: Nix
Original Universe and Locale: Marvel Universe, Seattle/New York

Age: 24
Birthday: July 16, 1982
Hair: variable
Eyes: variable
Skin Tone: variable
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 165
Build: variable
Race/Nationality: Caucasian American
Noteable Characteristics: His body is composed of water. He can appear as a human, but only visually, and usually only does so in public.
Uniform: Doesn’t require clothing, but usually appears to wear an Avengers uniform.

Place of Birth: Los Angeles, California
Family: Kristen Hirsch (Mother, ability to assume liquid shape)*
Damian Hirsch (Father, telekinetic/empathic abilities)*
Angelica Hirsch ( Sister, 34, telekinetic abilities, political activist, whereabouts unknown)
Both parents missing after dimensional “fracturing”

Superhuman Abilities: H20 manipulation and aqua-shifting. Carmine is truly composed of highly organized water molecules. Since his natural state is “living water,” he can assume nearly any shape, including that of a human. Furthermore, Carmine can manipulate water around him, as a pyrokinetic manipulates fire. He can draw water from the air (except in arid climates like deserts), extract water from plant and animal life on contact, and he can “aquakinetically” move vast amounts of water. Being able to control the molecules themselves, Carmine also controls the density and state of water; he can create super-dense water that becomes hard (glass-like), and can also cause the water to freeze or boil (to the point of evaporation). Creating super-dense water allows him to take a solid (and unbreakable) form. Refracting light through specific groups of molecules, Carmine can make himself appear as a human (with skin, clothes, etc . . .), but this is only superficial; his molecular structure does not change.
Natural abilities: Knows a great deal about literature, music, and art, and is an accomplished artist, musician, and writer. One of the world’s fastest swimmers.

Power Levels: Liquid State/Solid State
Physical Strength: 2 / 8
Power Mastery: 10 / 10
Speed: 7 / 3
Durability: 3* / 10
Intelligence 5 / 5
Energy 7 / 7
Agility 10 / 3
*Can take damage, but forceful contact breaks his liquid form, like waves breaking on rocks

Personal Strengths: Outspoken enough to be involved and noticed, but reserved enough to remain objective.
Personal Weaknesses: Has a particular soft spot for animals, if one considers that a weakness. May seem socially aloof at times, perhaps even uncaring.
Personality: Carmine is relatively even tempered, usually keeping a calm, level head (sometimes he even seems detached). He likes to remain objective and examine the facts. When angered he is calm, yet relentless in his pursuit.

History: With the ability to (mostly) conceal his nature, Carmine had a relatively normal childhood. He spent the first 13 years of his life in Los Angeles, though his happiness was cut short when his mutation was discovered during a prank at school. His parents quickly sent him to live with his sister in Oregon during her final year as an undergraduate. With little to do, Carmine stealthily attended nearly every class that interested him by the time he was 18. In the middle of spring term, Angelica dropped out of her Ph.D. program to join a radical, pro-mutant political group, leaving her brother with only a week notice.

The following year he left Oregon for Washington with his girlfriend of three years. A year after moving to Seattle, Carmine’s girlfriend developed cancer, which the hospital would diagnose, but not treat. Nor would any of the other major hospitals in the area. He was forced to take her to a substandard facility; she died shortly after admittance. Though he took no action against the hospitals that refused treatment, the event flipped a switch in Carmine’s mind. He decided to dedicate his life to fighting injustice, and especially the unequal treatment of mutants.

For the next four years Carmine patrolled the streets of Seattle, preventing various crimes against humans and superheroes alike. After preventing a major shoot-out by “diverting” an enormous amount of water from a nearby harbor, Carmine attracted the notice of Carol Danvers (Ms. Marvel), who was “on-the-mend” at the time. They became such good friends that Marvel asked him to join the Avengers after she returned to New York. Carmine, needing time to think, remained in Seattle for another year, until he felt he was ready to join the team. He now spends his time between New York and Seattle.

Age: 24
Birthday: 11/03/82
Hair: violet
Eyes: blue
Skin Tone: tan
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 125lbs
Build: Average build although muscular than an ordinary young woman due to self defense and fighting classes she had been enrolled in since middle school
Race/Nationality: Caucasian/ European
Noteable Characteristics: Tribal styled tattoos across her arms, belly, and legs
Uniform: Variation of her villain uniform with less black and more violet.

Place of Birth: London, although she alternatively grew up in France & Great Britain before moving to America shortly after graduating high school to attend one of Metropolis' prestigious universities.

Family: Granddaughter of Alfred Pennyworth (butler to Batman) & Mademoiselle Marie. Daughter to Julia Remarque and Guy David Innes-Ker, 10th Duke of Roxburghe. She has a younger brother named George and three older half-siblings: sister Rosanagh, and brothers Charles & Edward.

Superhuman Ability: clairaudience (the ability to perceive and understand sounds, often from a great distance) which allows for a mild form of clairvoyance.

Abilities (not gained from mutation): Excellent firearms handler and is currently undergoing further training with a bo-staff for hand-to-hand combat.

Power Levels: 40o50 points used
Physical Strength (1-10): 5
Power Mastery (1-10): 8
Speed (1-10): 5
Durability (1-10): 6
Intelligence (1-10): 5
Energy (1-10): 5
Agility (1-10): 6

Personal Strengths: She knows when to follow, and when to lead. She's not one to give up easily on an important issue, but will step down from the argument if it's a trivial matter.

Personal Weaknesses: She's always striving for more power, be it honorable means or otherwise, which led to her fall to the 'Dark Side'.

Personality: She's a no nonsense kind of person with it comes to fighting crime, but when she's unwinding in Metropolis, she's a bit more laid back, although still coming across as a quiet type, almost standoffish, even to those who know her.

History: Upon completion of high school, Clair moved to the States from her cozy European villa in search of adventure under the pretense of attending an American university. Which, to her credit, she did attend, and even received a Bachelor degree in the Arts.

Her lure of the crime fighting first began as a bored heiress with too much time on her hands and quickly grew into a hungry power trip with her working on the other side of the law, and enjoying it immensely. It was during her 'dark side' days, she discovered her grandfather, and who he worked for (Batman). Unwilling to allow Alfred to get caught up in her mischievous nature, she put away her villain attire and settled for a crime fighter job instead.

She's currently under the employment of a Lex Luthor as a house maid, but she's also keeping watch on him, or as close of a watch of she can without being suspicious. It's better to have the devil in your sights than wondering where he could be, after all. Through her crime fighting she's met a small handful of the Justice League (Martian Manhunter, Supergirl, & Flash) along with the majority of the Batman gang during her short visits into Gotham City and yet hasn't really made an effort to join either set of super heroes. Although she is on emergency call for when no one else is available to help out.

Personality: Brash, smart-mouthed, and intelligent. He is trustworthy, upstanding, and loyal to his city and his planet. He serves in the Corps with unwavering faith and bravery. Also has a strong sense of justice.

History:
T.J. Crawford was born to a middle-class family and the son of a career beat officer in the Star City Police Department. His schooling was average at best, and he lived the life of a normal teenager until he turned 15.

When T.J. was fifteen, his father was killed while trying to apprehend a costumed vigilante who had murdered someone prior. T.J. was stunned and torn inside, but lived his life as well as he could without the calming influence of his father.

When T.J. was 19, he decided to follow in his father's footsteps and enrolled in the SCPD police academy. Even though his mother was adamant that T.J. didn't do anything to endanger himself, he pressed on, determined to live up to his father's legacy. Being a rather average student meant nothing. T.J. excelled in marksmanship training, though his sleuthing skills were average at best. He relied mostly on his luck and a modicum of intelligence to get him through the academy in the top 30 in his graduating class.

After a few lucky breaks while being a beat officer, T.J. was offered a desk sergeant job, where he found work to be boring. Yes, he wanted to be an officer of the law, but he didn't want to be behind a desk. After a few months of desk work, T.J. was mulling over whether or not he wanted to get out of his career choice. That was when tragedy struck. His mother was stricken with a stroke, and a few short weeks afterwards, passed away. T.J. was depressed over the situation, and with the burgeoning pathos of his desk job, he was starting to 'lose his spark'.

A year after his mother passed, T.J. managed to meet someone in his department. Lydia Cassantinos. After a whirlwind romance, the two were married and soon had a child on the way. Nine months later, he had a son named Nathan. Not but a month afterwards, the two parents split up, and T.J. wound up a single parent with minority custody of his son. Not only that, but Lydia had quit the force to concentrate on taking care of their child. On top of that, T.J. had lucked into another promotion; detective sergeant on the SCPD. Feeling a bit overwhelmed, T.J. took the job without thinking and found himself embroiled in some of the high profile cases that Star City offered.

During his time as a detective, T.J. had off encounters with costumed super villains, mainly in rounding up what the Green Arrow had apprehended. T.J. grew rather grateful of the Arrow's work and had a rather good working relationship with the vigilante, often sticking up for him when people on the force would condemn his actions.

On a routine case, things turned out a lot worse than what was expected. T.J. found himself in a shoot-out with a group of costumed villains, who had a special hostage at the time. Unbeknownst to him, the hostage was already dead, and he was losing people on his force rather quickly. That was when an emerald flash flew within his line of sight. The next thing he knew, there was a green, glowing ring sitting at his feet. He didn't know, but while feeling compelled, T.J. put the ring on his right ring finger and was immediately encased in a green glow. The next thing he remembered was the villains around his feet defeated. After the defeat of the criminals, T.J. found himself zipping through the universe and in front of the council of small, blue men. After being informed of what had happened, T.J. reluctantly took up the mantle of the Earth's Green Lantern. Christening himself Plasma, T.J. took up working on honing his abilities while taking down small time crooks in Star City while combating galactic threats near Earth.

After taking down a rather malevolent criminal in Star City with the Green Arrow, T.J. felt compelled to at least speak with the Arrow. After a rather lengthy conversation, T.J. shed his mask and revealed his identity to the Arrow, cementing their trust. After Connor revealed his own identity, he suggested that Plasma talk to Superman, Batman, and the Martian Manhunter to take over the somewhat recently deceased Green Lantern's place in the Justice League. Being the fledgling in the JLA, he was made to take baby steps while serving the Earth as it's policeman.

-- Is a member of the Green Lantern Corps, headquartered on the Guardians world of Oa. Was the replacement Green Lantern for the Justice League upon the death of Hal Jordan, the decommission of John Stewart, and the reassignment of Kyle Raynor.

Abilities (not gained from mutation): Various forms of martial arts and self defense. Gymnastics.

Power Levels: (Click here for a guide)
Physical Strength (1-10): 7
Power Mastery (1-10): 8
Speed (1-10): 6
Durability (1-10): 7
Intelligence (1-10): 5
Energy (1-10): 7
Agility (1-10): 9

Personal Strengths: A dedicated well rounded fighter. Intelligent, and doesn't act to hastely on things. Not afraid to be a follower, or even a leader when she has to be.
Personal Weaknesses: Never has been good with dealing with large groups of people. Has a tendency to keep to herself from time to time. Fears losing control.
Personality: Quiet and loyal, but friendly. Enjoys having fun, but knows when the appropriate time is. Quick tounged when angered, and often sarcastic.

History: Twenty-two years ago Teagan was born a mutant to a "normal" family outside of Kilkenny. Teagan got into quite a fit of trouble as a child, and during the time of her mother's death, she was sent to a boarding school in northern Ireland. It was during her time at the school that the first stage of her mutation began to show, and schools don't take too fondly of students causing their entire class to pass out, especially when it's ontop of an already rowdy record. Upon being kicked out of school, Teagan stole money from her father and ran off to America. She was only 14 at the time and wound up in foster care in Boston. After a year of fear of herself and bouncing around foster care, Teagan once again ran away, but this time with a purpose.

At age 16 Teagan was amongst a group of higschool mutants who were abducted, altered and brainwashed. Even after returning with the group to Xavier Mansion, the enhancement of her powers never completely faded and the second personality that had been planted into her head, continued to reside dormantly in her mind. It was in this post phase that the next evolution of Teagan's powers occured. The girl chose to remain in the mansion even after receiving news of her father's death. Over the course of the next two years Teagan had come to be known by the codename "Augurey". She would train with a reserve team of X-Men, as well as study various forms of martial arts and gymnastics.

As she got older, Teagan began to work with other teams of X-Men, having gained control of her powers. At age 18, Teagan was once again abducted with a group of her fellow X-Men, but this time by Apocalypse. Just as the first time, she returned to the Mansion and was able to recover from what enhancements she had gone through. The third stage of her mutation began to manifest not soon after. It was during this period that she went back into training and no longer responded to the name "Augurey." She took a brief leave from fighting alongside the X-Men to regain control of her powers. Just before her 20th birthday, she returned to the "scene" under the name "Venin." Since then Teagan has regained her status as a useful addition to the X-Men.

When she encounters a new or unfamiliar energy, Aria can often duplicate it given enough time for analysis. Personality: She is a playfully charming. Since Aria is unable to speak she is very open and expressive with her emotions. Not one to easily upset she looks at the world without fear and eyes full of curiosity.

But there was who took notice. One who noticed the young girl with an soft almost ethereal glow was an individual whose origins where as mysterious as her own and was simply known to the world as Phantom Stranger.
