 June 14th marks one year of SasuSaku shipping for the Sincerely Yours Guild.
Many of us have created memories here, met some amazing people and defended our OTP in the name of this guild over the last year, and now is the time for us to sit back and remember what being a member of Sincerely Yours has taught and given to us.
Some of us only recently became members-- others of us have been here since the original SasuSaku Guild, and many of us joined in the inbetween timespan. We've fangirl(boy)ed together through the chapters, episodes, fanart and doujinshi compiled throughout this time period. We've created different fanon crack jokes (golden spatula, anyone?), compiled an amazing amount of theories and essays, and become the powerhouse of SasuSaku defense in the Gaiasphere.
We're from all over the world, and yet we've all managed to come together in this guild to spread our love of the SasuSaku pairing, create new friendships, and find a place to escape the negative fandom. This our little haven, our place of solitude-- our place of SasuSaku love.
This thread is for all of us, no matter how long we have been members, to talk about the best memories we have of this Guild-- the threads, the past posts, the essays, the unforgettable fangirl(boy)ing... everything that we have done together has members of this Guild. Let's relive the days of our youth!! sweatdrop
And while we're at it, why not talk about the future? What do YOU want to see come of the guild, of SasuSaku? What kinds of things are you anxious for? Tell us! We all want to hear.
Just remember to keep the bashing of any character, member, or previous guild members to nothing. We wouldn't want to create bad karma, now would we?

I, personally, want to thank all the moderators of the guild for even CREATING IT. I was in a big SasuSaku rut when I joined, and you've all managed to help me re-realize why I fell in love with SasuSaku in the first place.
THANK YOU.
And I also want to talk about the COMMUNITY, the FAMILY this guild creates. I noticed just how tight knit has a fandom we are when my original account, SiretaInDisguise, was hacked. So many of you came to help me and I really appreciate it, so much more than you'll ever know!

Hmm..
Where to start...
I joined this guild when I decided I needed to stimulate my inner SasuSaku fangirl. But this guild has been more than that to me. Over the months I've been here this guild has grown to be my Gaia family and. A few weeks ago, when I was banned from Gamefaqs, I lost my home board (the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess: Social Board, shortened to the TPSB). I realized then that I had been here more than the TPSB lately so I gave up on Gamefaqs.
We've been through so much. I remember hoe scared I was to explore the guild and how uncomfortable I felt about being around so many different people (I was close to the TPSB). Gradually, I became more comfortable, posting more often and even (almost completely) abondoning my other Gaia guilds to spend more time here. Sincerely Yours has provided me with so much; laughs, tears and pervertedness. Many of the moderators have become idols to me, inspiring me to have more faith in the pairing.
I'd like to thank everyone; imogen, for making the guild; Kairi and Iia for being so awesome; Sireta, Brittney-chan, Tenshi and all the other mods; Mel for being someone who (even though we're not close) responded to some of my posts and everyone else; all the SasuSaku fans in the guild.

THANK YOU: An Essay Dedicated to the Fellow SasuSaku-ers that Keep Me Running
Pairing Fandom is a tough place to be. It has its ups: I've found a community with amazing people who share my thoughts; I've learned a lot about debating, understanding, and respect. Fandom also has its downs: Tardom, for one, and the realization that your beliefs will make others hate you. While Fandom is Earth, your OTP is your Heaven, and Tardom is your Hell.
And sometimes Fandom can get unbearable. You can only take the crap for so long. I am no different. I've witnessed SasuSaku fandom (and the guild included) being bashed, laughed at, spit upon, etc. And who have WE bashed, laughed at, and spit upon? Yeah...I think you know the answer.
So we play nice, and others play dirty. It wears our patience thin. But damn, we've held on, and miraculously we we continue to hold on a year later. Despite what you may think, I'm not a very patient person. So I wonder, "How can I be so patient with Fandom?" Certainly, I'd h ave blown my top off by now.
Well, it's all of you.
This guild, and the people in it, give me the patience to sit and wait and proudly defend my OTP: SasuSaku.

Title: It's Called Icha Icha
Rating: T or M, I guess...
Genre: Romance/Humor
Main pairings: SasuSaku, NaruHina... though you can add whichever pair you want here. LeeTen, NejiTen, ShikaIno, ShikaTem, SaiIno... whatever you want.
Summary: [AU] Uchiha Sasuke: rich, handsome, and... heir to an unwanted porn mag empire? See how he deals with flirty models, a rival mag, feminist rallies, and his nerdy pink-haired PA.
Anyway, what I had in mind was Sasuke inheriting the mag because Itachi got all the other companies except this one, which are smaller compared to the Icha Icha empire. Sakura seems to be the only one uninterested in him, but this is because she thinks she has no chance with him, being the "nerdy pink-haired PA". I'd like her to gain confidence enough to go beyond nerdiness in the end, though.
Also, I'd like Hinata to be the daughter of the CEO of the rival mag, while Naruto is the third-in-command back at Icha Icha. Romeo-and-Juliet-ish for them, I guess.

Kyra, you have been a great influence on the guild and are one of our more regular posters. I'm glad to have you hear heart
Like Iia, there are people here who have affected my fandom like no other, people who have taught me different things and opened my eyes. Tenshi no Hana-chan is one of my absolute FAVORITE debators-- because when she argues with me, she does it to help me fill in the holes in my theories.
And without her, I probably wouldn't have adapted as far as I have when it comes to finding loopholes in the series, or taking a more logical examination before I actually sit down and write a theory or an essay. I owe it all to her.
MooMoo has helped me tons too <3
Iia and Kairi showed me the FUN side of fandom, the ability to accept things I didn't particularly like, and how to take a clear view instead of a biased view. I've become a far better fan of the whole Naruto series due to talking to them the last couple of weeks.
Immeh and I are Hidan fans to the end and honestly, I didn't even KNOW anyone else here liked Hidan until Immeh spoke up. <3
I'll post more later. A Hidan/Saku fic is calling my name >.>

I love it here with all my fellow SasuSaku-ers!!!!! I remember the first time getting into famdoms on internets and stuff back in the summer of 2006. I remember reading the posts by ComecomeParadise and Ichi Ichi-sama(sp?xd) Crystal Renee and PheonixBlood and commenting to myself saying "wow, that these people are really nice and smart!!!" From them, I learn what to do and what not to do in debates! Thank you guy so much!!
Then I came here and read all of you guys great posts and essays you made! You guys never failed to cheer me up and bring back faith into SasuSaku whenever I was feeling down and hopeless.<33
Every single one of you sasusaku fans are the best people I ever met! and honstly, you've affected me so much that all I could do is thank you!

But serioussllyyy, there are so many cool people here! Some many that I can't name them because I forgot all their names! But they all make me feel welcome and I don't feel overwhelmed with how big this guild is 'cause people are so nice. <3
Seriously, I was quite intimidated at first, and I felt like I was intruding when I saw how close-knit the people are here. But you guys made room for me in your little scarf of friendship and I'm thankfull. xD;
Here, I've not only met people who like the same things as me, but also friends, and other people that have been an inspiration to me. (:

GOD I feel old. You guys have given me so much reason to stay not only on this site, but also in the SasuSaku fandom. I'm serious, despite what people say, all you guys in this guild are amazing and understanding. The success and growth of this guild has been STUNNING and all of you guys should be thanked for that.
Can you believe it? On the day we started we had, and I quote "34 users," less than 100 posts. NOW look at us, at this guild! We stand at 16,541 posts with almost 800 members! That's incredible progress in just one year. Never could I have fathomed that this little guild would expand and grow as it has. I can only attribute the popularity to you guys, who remain active and to the mods whose efforts (and wild brandishing of sticks) keep both me and the guild in order. xD <33

Wow... I was in the original guild. Shows how long I've been on Gaia.
I would like to thank Kairi, Moomoo, Imogen, Remedi/Iia, and everyone else. This place is amazing, and the SasuSaku army can kick anyone's a**.
Even though I don't talk on this guild as much as some of you [the Official Naruto Thread is my Gaia home, but this is my second home] I love you all so much. We fangirl every little moment and over-analyze everything to DEATH.
I look forward to another year, and the giant party for when SasuSaku is cannon. heart

Wow... almost a year?
I remember, when I first got into Gaia, looking around the Naruto fanguilds, and accidentally bumping into the old SasuSaku fanguild. Being the stalker I was [and still kinda am], I browsed around the guild, and even bookmarked the guild.
Though that was when I wasn't even into pairings yet. I was only in it for the pictures. xD
On the account that I first joined this guild on, Kimiko Sakato, I still wasn't totally interested in pairings, to be honest. I just enjoyed talking with others, in some random guild... and for the cool pictures. xD
But slowly and surely, somehow I got converted into a loyal SasuSaku fan. Though I became awfully close-minded, and thought SasuSaku was the only correct pairing, and refused to accept anything else. I was only after I found out bashing and hating for a dumb reason was all the more reason for other fandoms to attack you. So I got into other pairings, such as NejiHina, NaruHina, ItaSaku, and ShikaTema.
And now I'm highly indecisive on my second favorite pairing. I guess my naturally undecided mind somehow fused with my Internet life. If that made any sense at all.
...I basically just told you guys my life story. No idea why. I guess I just got carried away. It was all relevant to Guild Memories, so it's all good, right? >>;

AkatsukiBrat: XD <333 I started off almost the same way. I lurked the first SasuSaku guild like CRAZY before I joined. I was very intimidated by all the greats mods and I was deathly afraid to join. Bu tI did, and like you, I started as a "SasuSaku is the good pairing and all others opposing can get hit by a train." I cringe at how a acted towards NaruSaku especially. But being in the guild and learning about SasuSaku and NaruSaku and other pairings taught me that every pairing deserves respect. 3nodding i m o g e n IIA. I LOVE YOU. YUO > MEH.
