Welcome to Gaia! ::

With several of the agents working on the sniper case, I felt that it was best to get certain facts down for everybody. This way, it will be easier for all involved to check the CONTINUITY of the events before they begin making accusations or theories.

I will be reaching back into the dark recesses of gaia, before a LOT of you were members of this esteemed forum. Back before there was in fact even a plot line.

The first interaction. Christmas of 03. Rina was the first NPC to appear in an event in which she headed up the christmas charity give away.

Summer 2004. Gaian Olympics. Several of the NPCs engaged in a competition. Here we learned of several personal facts regarding the NPCs. Including Edmunds friendship with Johnny and his tendency to flirt with an as of yet un-named Blonde NPC on the map.

Fall 2004. The premier of G Corp and the Labtechs. The G Virus, Zombies, and first Grunny make their debut. Gambino's Mansion blew up sending Gambino flying and Gino missing.

Winter 2004. Christmas event in which Gambino, down on his luck after the collapse of G Corp, searches for his son. Edmund's friendship is confirmed with Gambino. Agatha is seen bringing a meal to Old Man Logan. Ian is seen having dinner with Ruby and Peyo.

Spring 2005. Von Helson sisters appear. They kidnap the amnesiatic Gino during the Anniversary Ball. Gambino swears retribution.

Spring 2005. Thanks to the users charity, Gambino takes donations and rebuilds not only his mansion, but expands to a full blown massive tower taking up an additional 5 screens.

Spring 2005. April Fools day. The Sniper shoots from somewhere in Durem and hits Johnny K. Gambino as he stands atop his Tower shortly after Gino regains his memory. They both fall into the sea and the Tower collapses on top of the Von Helson mansion, theoretically crushing the two sisters. However, no bodies were found during the clean up.

Spring 2005. The Easter Bunny Cyborg first appears. Wide speculation points the identity of the sniper at him. This however, was just a theory.

Summer 2005. A much grown up Gino washes up on shore on Gambino Isle, thereby interupting Ian and Sasha's time together. Sasha does mouth to mouth and Ian flips out for various reasons listed here.
1) Ian hates the Gambino family for driving his shop out of Gambino Isle.
2) Ian likes Sasha.

Summer 2005. Sasha takes in the injured Gino, where we learn he has a certain amount of dependency on a drug that G Corp developed. Bucho later comes to retrieve his master. Gino chooses to rebuild not only the Gambino mansion, but also build over the ruins of the Von Helson mansion in Durem.

Fall 2005. Gino hosts the Halloween party, which is interupted by the thought to be dead Labtech X when he unleashes an invasion of Grunnies from the secret labs beneath the Gambino Mansion. Users are infected and the Mansion is burned down in a plot to kill Gino and to contain the grunny infection... again.

Fall 2005. Jack gives everyone a buttload of pants. Users get ticked.

Fall 2005. A mecha santa appears and places the blame for the poor reception and problems of the Halloween event on Jack. Jack takes exception and chaos ensues as the two holiday figures fight and subsequently destroy the link list building. The fight is broken up when a figure known as the Masque appears and saves Sasha. However, Santa is fatally wounded.

Winter 2005. A group of "elftechs" appear under the direction of Mrs. Clause working for S Corp. A great deal of materials are brought in for an unknown reason, including a crate of Yetis.

Winter 2005. During the New Year's Eve festival held in Durem, Ian crashes the party. We are introduced to a new NPC, the Butler Jeebus, which Ian hits in the face. The Masque is unveiled as Gino, and Sasha and he kiss. Ian is arrested for the arsony of the Gambino Mansion. Liam, in other news, comes into being and many theories run about who he is.

Winter 2006. A mutant robot Santa with a gatling gun rampages in the streets. Jack appears to fight him and they fight to a standstill, each badly wounded. A flashback shows Santa being picked on by the other holidays, the Easter Bunny included in this group. Jack "sho-ryu-ken" uppercuts the easter bunny, causing him a great deal of injury. This point is believe to be why the easter bunny is a cyborg. Jack and Santa become friends in the flashback and renew their friendship in present time.

Spring 2006. The Trial of Ian. Ian is tried for the arson. He is found not guilty, but after the trial, The sniper reappears and shoots Ian. Rufus takes over his shop while Ian is in the hospital.

Spring 2006. Valentine's Day. Gino gets Sasha an expensive present only to be out done by Ian while Sasha is visiting him in the hospital.

Spring 2006. The first day Ian is released from the Hospital, Gino appears to challenge him to a duel at Gambino Cliffs.
Labtech X sends Cindy a note informing her of the duel and then appears to thwart Gino, who has been displaying odd behaviour as of late. Labtech X and Gino go over the side of the cliff where a massive discharge of energy engulfs the world. At the bottom of the crater, Johnny K. Gambino and Kid Gino appear. The Zurg notice the discharge.

Spring 2006. As it turns out, the G Virus is a chemical bonding agent developed first to make Gino a better heir to the Gambino name by the use of the Virus and a vial of Johnny's blood. However, after Gino goes missing, a despaired Gambino injects himself with the virus to make himself better. This however, drives him to madness which is only broken once Gino regains his memory. During the fall after Johnny was shot, Gino and Gambino fused into the being masquerading as Gino.

Summer 2006. Things begin to settle down once more... except for Cindy, who is searching for either Labtech X or the Sniper. Liam in other news, is courting three ladies, and for some reason Rufus is STILL running the shop. Users hunger for more plot.

Fall 2006. The Zurg first appear.

and past that, I think you all know what happens.... and I don't feel like typing it. If someone else wants to toss in their Zurg notes, you are welcome to it.
