Alright, as we've all seen, there'll be a Masquerade for the Anniversary. Since Masquerades tend to involve not knowing who the other participants are, our dear friend Kitty came up with a brilliant plan. To come to the party under different screen names. Basically, to put on mules instead of masks. So, consider this an advance warning to begin that mule sometime soon. The date(s) for the party still aren't set, but it'll be before the end of July, rest assured. For more information, take a sneak peak at our Under Construction forum. Namely, Kitty's Rules! Kitty_Katastrophe 1.) Follow all of the guild rules and all Gaian ToS. When you request your mule to join, put only the words 'Red Berry' in the application.
2.) Be friendly and don't ignore people. No one knows who anyone is, so you never know who is you're treating badly!
3.) Only post with a mule that no one will recognise.
4.) Never tell anyone who you really are! It's a game, so no cheating!
5.) Highlight rule one.

1) If you're going to RP in the actual Masquerade thread, I'd suggest putting a really basic character sheet in your siggy. Something like:
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Other:
Elsewise, you'll be introing your character blank. Of course, if that's you style, go for it. More power to ya! 3nodding
2) Feel free to make your own threads too, if you've decided something in the stickies doesn't suit you. Just remember the Guild and Gaian rules and ToS
As we know, Illy left us recently, and Koiji's been going strong for just over a year.
In response to those events, we've been playing to have an anniversary party, and possibly a In Memory of Illy subset in that party. Maybe. We'll see.
Trouble is, we don't exactly know what to do. So far, the only theme we've come up with is an anniversary ball, and we don't know how well that'd go over with everyone.
So, we're asking you all to help us out too! Do it for Illy! Do it for Koiji! Do it because we control who gets banned or not you love us so!
What we do know:
arrow The party will have a subforum
arrow There will be an ooc thread where we can talk about all the cool things that have happened to us in the first year of Koiji.
arrow Threads will probably get put in the memorable threads forum when its all done.

I say all of us "dress up" for the night based on the theme, i.e., everyone wears pajamas if the theme was Pajama Party. It wouldn't have to be expensive, really, just something simple.

heart If at first you don't succeed... Meta's idea would be great if everyone has PJs. I don't have any but I'm sure I can buy some but what about members that might not be able to?
I was thinking of things that I like to do when I go out with a group of friends:
--We go to the arcade a lot and play laser tag XD
--Skating
--Once we help our masque but with a more modern theme Skydiving is not for you... heart

I do like pajamas and laser tag, but I'm not so sure about together. So, I shall address them separately.
PJs: Well, I *was* going to say 'well, I've got gold to spare, I could buy a few sets for people, they aren't expensive' but now I don't have gold to spare and thus cannot.
However, I do know that one of the starter sets (no way that's too expensive) is very pajama-like, and any baggy or sleep-looking clothes would work too, IE: camisole top and a pair of sweatpants.
However, what would we do at said party? Would there be movies? Maybe using Gaia cinema? Would there be games? And so on.
Friends get together: This one sounds really promising, but what do you mean by 'help our masque with a more modern theme'? Sorry to have to ask, but I'm very brain dead today.
However, the idea of an arcade/skating rink party would probably work very well, and if anyone still wants the masquerade element, it could be one of those 'don't tell who you are' costume party things. Of course, we'd know whose who because of their screen names, but we don't have to play that we do...
I'll add them both to the poll.

heart If at first you don't succeed... Well rather than the fancy dresses we did something more modern. The one we did was an all black affair with no limits on what to wear. Goth, gown a friend of mine came as a black siren superhero for her everything is a costume party lol Skydiving is not for you... heart

If we did the masquerade idea where everyone keeps it a secret who they are, I think it would be fun if we all came under different accounts. That way no one knows who anyone is and we can all guess later.
We might even be able to turn that into a contest of sorts.
The pajama party would be fun - and inexpensive - as well. We might be able to do a little bit more with that, such as casual party games and whatnot, while the masquerade would be more formal.
The arcade/skating rink (perhaps also a masquerade) idea sounds fun. It's very unique, I think, and has both of the best elements from both ideas. Laid back, but secretive. x3
(Pretty much my same opinions on the modern masquerade, as well.)

The only problem is you'd have to invite in ten accounts that probably wouldn't be active afterwards.

No worries. I can handle making a sort of guest list of mules and inactive accounts, and just un-member them a few days after the party ends.
Maybe we should have some kind of password, though, to put in the guild app, because I've seen a couple of blank apps lately, and I'd hate to accidentally accept someone who isn't going to be of any use later on.
