It is very likely that once this sub-forum is set up, there won't be any announcements, but pay attention to this thread until then as I will be gradually putting more information here that you need to be aware of.
For starters, if you are moving your biographies to this forum, let me say that among the other guilds that allow themselves to be viewed publicly, we generally beat them in terms of literacy when it comes not only to RPing, but to character profile designs. This isn't to say we are the best, but that we do have a lot of potential.
Anyway enough of the cheering. By now you should all know the standard profile set up. To recap for new members or anyone who never really paid it that much attention the list usually looks as follows:
Username: Character Name: Age: Height: Weight: Appearance: History: Abilities: (optional depending on the character) Miscellaneous:
Miscellaneous is a vague term used to cover many fields that may not be applicable to all characters, such as weapons or race and any expansive information that serves as a background for others to better understand the nature of your character. We do not use stats here for the simple fact that a scale of 1-10 is much too small and trying to make it larger won't help much either. If you want to try and emphasize something like strength or speed, be specific (how fast is the character really). Any other supplementary information that you have about your character should also be documented at your own discretion.
The reason everyone gets their own thread begins with the rationale that it makes things a lot neater and bios easier to find. Further, it gives each of us more room to fill in more data as the time calls for it. The stories that make up the foundation of your character can now be fleshed out as much or as little as you like from day one on until the present. This by no means suggests you need more than one post, but when the time calls for you to say more or less, the space will be available.
The next post will concern a few rules in regards to character development and may also contain information concerning abandoned or incomplete characters.

Alright then, so in case you are new to the guild, or designing a new character, or revamping an old one, there are a few things to keep in mind. First of all, be advised that I don't want any min-maxer characters. If you absolutely must have some god of a character to RP on par with such characters as Fierce and Tacitus (if he actually got into battle often) there are limitations on what that character is allowed to do. For example, the character Fierce isn't a common playable character and a strict set of circumstances is the only thing to bring him out. Secondly, that particular character, powerful though he is, is not one to look for a fight therefore the fact that he would kick your a** is all up to you.
Tacitus on the other hand has abilities I'm still not quite able to document, but this is balanced out by his gross inaction in actual combat. Ultimately I leave discretion up to you, but if there is something completely unfair about your character, I will address it when it comes to my attention.
I also do not want Trinities. There has to be a rational understanding for everything your character can do. For example, if you roleplay a five year old, I don't expect to see a master martial artist, magic user, gadget wizard, rock star. The knowledge and abilities of your characters should be subject not only to their age, but also their world experiences, so keep that in mind.
When it comes to offensive and defensive techniques, they are not allowed in this guild unless first documented in your character's profile. This is to prevent McFlying and Godmodding in general. It isn't fair for your character to be able to pull something out of their a** unexpectedly in the middle of a battle when things make a turn for the worse. Having something up your sleeve is allowed, but I within reason. However, should you come up with a new technique, you can use it once before you put it in your profile, but if it doesn't reach your profile by the end of the day, it will be considered godmodding.
With those few things in mind, have at it. I'm guessing some of you will just be copy/pasting your characters anyway and editing later, but I could be wrong. The next post will deal with those characters which seem at this point to be unused.
