I'm sorry, to anyone and everyone with items waiting to be finished please consider them completed and delivered. I am currently unable to be on as much as I had hoped as my professors have decided to not adhere to the final exam schedule as set forth by UNLV administration. I had hoped to have everything done in this past week and the one forthcoming but this will unfortunately not be happening.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is the Aegis of Torment, and in the future of the Gaian Tenkaichi Budoukai it will offer arms, armor, and prosthetics to combatants. All items of this nature will be available for rental at a fair sum (IC) with similar basic items available for purchase (IC). However, by contracting with Torment he can be made available for custom projects.
Storefront
The outside appears as a normal mom and pop store plucked straight from a small town. A large, neon-light sign displays the store's name: Aegis of Torment. Specifically, it is a large brick building erected near the coliseum, hiding it's defenses well. The windows allow you to see inside, but it feels as if the products are not there. Pictures on the windows display defensive items of all types, from magical to runic from technological to basic. The single, rotary door appears to be the only entrance/exit. Inside is a shop lined with shelves, rather cramped with a workbench at the rear full of half-finished gadgets.
Warehouses
In each of the four main cities of Gaia exists a warehouse devoted to the storage of all Aegis materials. The space within has been expanded to slightly exceed the maximum allowed by the walls, but only by a small margin compared to the whole. Golems and Clockwork Constructs can be heard in the background as they work and toil to Torment's bidding. Each of the four warehouses contains a section set aside for the sole purpose of housing building materials. The module-based building components seem to be heavily armored in their own right, and they seem to be able to build a rather large three story complex. A large workbench is present in each, having a wide range of material components for both mechanisms and spells. When no one is working on any particular project the benches are cleared of clutter and any work in progress stored away.
Lian entered the area with an 'umph' as the chariot, which the man from before had provided for some transportation to the warehouses he spoke of. Her appearance was none other then frozen in worry and horror. Heights were not in her favor when it came to flying around and with her transport being just a flying chair, well one could see why she was sweating bullets.
"Solid ground solid ground!"
Torment landed next to her with a smile on his lips and mirth in his voice, "Come now, the ride could not have been all that bad. The chariot did not even perform any barrel rolls!" With his majestic wings still burning a soft blue he turned to the warehouse before them and gave a slight nod. Without turning back to her he spoke, "Would you prefer to walk, to move the chariot on your own power, or would you like me to push?" He seemed to be looking for the door, despite the fact that the two huge doors were right in front of them and a smaller door was nearby.
With an uneasy smile, Lian hopped out of the chair, backing away from it rather quickly.
"Me thinks, I'll walk." She said with a slight shrug as she turned and began to hobble towards the smaller door. Halfway, she had to stop and double over, not quite gaining her legs back on solid ground nor having the full ability to walk yet.
The soft clinking of chain links danced around Torment as he scanned the wall, "I wouldn't try it as I'm pretty sure they open to a steel wall, miss..." He blinked and looked over to her, "Miss...? I do believe I've neglected to inquire as to your name. I must appologize for my rudeness." He didn't look back to the wall, but as his right arm extended in a snap a long chain burst from his sleeves. They passed through the air as straight as can be, striking a spot on the wall to the left of the giant doors. The wall seemed to melt into an ornate doorway fit for some type of mansion, the wall literally changing to this new purpose.
"Lian. Lian Ikariyang at your service." Lian said as she turned and stood, having gain her balance back with her hands in her pockets. Turning back to the doorway he created, she raised a white eyebrow.
"Interesting. It looks like a very unique type of alchemy but it's not...It's something a little more complex...I'll have to look into that later." She thought out loud as she visually examined the doorway he had created.
"Ah, forgive me. I haven't yet asked your name?"
With a jerk of his arm the chain dissolved away and the door began to swing inward. Torment gave a slight bow that almost coincided with this motion, hand sweeping out just after the jerking. An air of grandeur seemed to form around him as he spoke, "A pleasure it is to be formally introduced, Lian. My name is Kargin Nusradai, though most call me Tor or Torment with the title of The Azure Phoenix kept for when I desire to keep my identity hidden. Without futher delay, I welcome you, my lady, to The Aegis of Torment." The warehouse beyond the door was darkened, but the flicker of lights just turning on for the first time in months began to dispel the darkness.
"Those are quite a few names but I will just stick with Kargin." Lian replied, turning from the doorway back to him. Raising the hand where the shoulder had not been damaged, she pointed to the door.
"By all means, please lead the way. I'm interested to see what you have in this warehouse we're heading to."
The clomp of his blood red boots was soft on the ground, but when he passed through the doorway they began to echo in an almost supernatural way. The contents of the warehouse seemed to shudder at his passing, small devices on shelves flicking to life while the dim glow began to burn in the eyes of giant constructs long left deactivated. As he passed what seemed be a hand of epic proportions he paused to look at the fingers, each several times larger than he was. They looked to be the hands of a medium sized gundam or similar mobile suit, but were so fine and delicate in their construct that it looked like they could compare to the dexterity of human hands.
He continued on, passing several artifacts along the way that seemed to have some sentimental value, but looked to have little actual value. Each step flicked on more lights, a spotlight from nowhere centered on him and another on Lian. With a loud click and the growing buzz of fluourescent lighting a long workbench began to light up. Though it seemed outfitted with most basic tools all along the way, it had nothing set on the desk that suggested it had been used in ages; nothing but a thick layer of dust and metal filings.
Lian followed behind him, looking with curiousity at some of the large mechanical objects. Frankly, she looked like a kid in a candy store, her eyes sparkling at some of the, her fingers twitching to touch and examine them. At the end, she nearly bumped into him, leaning to the side to look at the table.
"Quite a mess..."She said in wonder at the layer of dust.
The mage chuckled and shook his head, "If you knew all that has happened within the confines of the Aegis and related ventures, you would think this a paradise of cleanliness and calm. I do believe the biggest mess was the several hundred Gundams bargin in the back door of the first Aegis when I decided to blow up Barton. You'd be surprised how many people happen to not like that sort of thing." With a sweep of his hand he swept away a small section in the layer of dust, "Now where did they put my projects..." He looked around, mumbling about shelves and bloody ghouls.
Lian sighed, her breath stirring some of the dust some. Hobbling over to a toppled over stool, she picked it up and gave it a quick dusting before sitting down with a slight grunt.
"I don't believe I've ever been to Barton...But I guess there isn't much there now." she said with a slight shrug. "Geez...Gundams? I don't think I've seen a whole one in years. Just ones that had broken down and they were selling spare parts."
Torment looked to her with a brow raised, "You've never been to Barton? Heh, I'll be sure to take you there after we're done. It wasn't destroyed, not by far, though I am quite sure people try all the time. I was not actually successful in destroying the city as the combined forces of the ASDF, GPD, and some space fleet founded by Edymion Alturus shut me down. A disappointment at the time, but I've stopped caring. The bloody Island of Torment saga caused so many more problems for me than I could have ever imagined."
He seems lost for a moment, anger apparent not only in his eyes but in the white flame that licks across his wings, which are for the first time releasing heat, and in fair quantities at that. What looked like a spectral hand reached from the darkness and smacked him upside the head. His head snapped to the side, looking directly at Lian but apparently not speaking to her, "Shut up! Its my own god damn problem." He paused, "None of it can compare. Why do you think I need an entire world to confront him?" He blinked, as if realizing he was staring at Lian, "When did you get back?"
"Not quite sure...Anyway, about your 'healing' method you said you were going to 'perform'?" Lian reminded him with a hint of surprise in her voice. Did he have a case of Schizophrenia for the moment...or was there something really around? Whatever the reason, it did give her heart a jump start.
"About Barton...I don't normally go to cities. Bad things normally happen when I do."Lian said as she bent down and started to roll up her pant leg.
Bit of his hair were burned and his clothes singed by the heat and flame by the time it subsided back to cool blue flame. He didn't seem to notice the superficial burns in the slightest, his attention focused on Lian now. He pondered her question for a moment, "Healing...hmm...you must have been gone for quite a while, because I can't recall exactly what I had planned. Though that does certain bed the question of just what I was doing at the time." He started to ramble off on whatever topic he rambles off on but paused and looked around, "God dammit Shar."
