(No, you don't have to be nocturnal, I just couldn't think of a good title.)  Yue stood on a slippery rock in the middle of a slow flowing stream, his eyes closed as he tired to keep his balance despite his big paws. This could be called normal, right? Next to the fact that it was the middle of the night.
Yue loved the darkness, every little thing about it; from the coolness it brought to hot summer days to all the different animals that ran about and could be chased after in the dead of night. It was much more calming then in the heat of day when everyone was running around, trying to do things before the sun went down. At that time the male would be sleeping peacefully.
He took in a deep breath, bending his hind legs some and leapt into the air, aiming for another rock. He missed and fell right into the water. Yue made his way out and shook off the water from his wet coat. The black fur shinned in the light of the moon. No pricing or tattoos to speak of, for he did not belong to any clan/tribe.
Once most of the water was gone, Yue made his way out into the field by the river, sniffing wild flowers that only bloomed in the night time.

Ari had been following one of the streams that started in Lunarie territory, had been following it for quite some time. Hours certainly had passed since he had started out, taking him far from the lands of the Lunarie Tribe.
He hadn't expected to meet another fox out in the middle of the night, off of the tribe lands as he was, yet a black figure in the middle of the stream caught Ari's attention. Now, what was that one doing awake so late in the night?
"Hello," Ari called out in greeting once he got close enough to speak without shouting, curious about this other fox.

Itsuki walked out a forest and into an open meadow. Sniffing the air around her, she smiled as she noticed the scent of two different foxes. She looked up at the moon for a second. 'Hmm... I think it's a bout midnight,' she noted silently. Then, she scampered towards the two foxes. Itsuki hardly ever slept this early. Well, early for her, anyways. So, instead of exploring her tribe lands, which she had already finished doind so, she decided to wander away from her lands for a night.

Yue turned around, his ears falling flat on his head as he skimmed over the other, lager male. The fact that he held many markings and pricing, and that he was so much bigger then himself lead the adult to think one thing.
'Elder.' The male clearly disliked tribes or maybe he had a good reason to stay out of one. Either way, he took his head out of his thoughts as he gave a bit of a bow by lowering the front half of his body.
"Good evening." The male called in answer as he stood back up. "What brings you out so late?" He added, blinking some. He had been alone just a few minutes ago or had the blue furred elder seen him fall into the water? If only Yue's hearing was as good as his night time vision.

Frenka followed along a path through the forest. Unconcerned of any foxes nearby, he muttered something curiously spotting a small animal nearby. He almost seemed to grin as he creeped uup to a small deer. Frenka smiled now instanly charging at the deer. It took off like taht through the forest with Frenka along following it. Suddenly, The deer seemed to trip as Frenka bit a hold of it's neck and snapped something. The deer died quick not having time to squirm or move. Frenka sighed now collecting his prey and dragging it over to a small tree and placing it there. He took a small chunk of the meat and swallowed it whole. When he was done, he collected it up again and dragged it over to a hiding spot where no one would find it. He left it and wandered away.

It was the dead of night. A slight breeze flew by, causing the trees and grass to sway. Yet, in the midst of the grass there was a slight disturbance that was making it's way towards the stream. Upon closer inspection, one could see that it was two small kits, each no bigger than a human hand, romping around through the grass. The two tackled each other and rolled along till they soon found themselves at the water's edge. The darker of the two took the chance to push the other into the water."Aw, Doku..." the wet one whined as she pulled herself out of the stream. "Don't do that! I could've drowned you know." She shook the water out of her fur and onto her sibling.Yudoku held up a paw to shield from the water droplets and snickered a little bit. "Aw, come on, Kin'iro, the water's not moving that fast...""Yeah, but we're still small," she insisted, wiping some water off of her face with her paw. It was then that the two kits heard the older foxes talking a few yards away. They both turned and stared at the adults in awe. "Wow..." Kin'iro commented. "Do you think we'll ever get that big?""Maybe," Yudoku replied, stepping by her sister's side. "Hey, maybe they'll play with us!" On that note, Yudoku began hopping on over towards the two."Hey, wait for me!" Kin'iro said, chasing after her sister.

Frenka stopped he turned almost releasing a growl. He caught the scent of Foxes nearby, he hated being near any other foxes really. He hated it alot. Frenka approached and hid behind a nearbu tree. He stopped again and saw to kits running to the other foxes. They looked happy alright. Frenka sighed now he remembered his childhood when he was happy. That all changed when his Father died."Maybe...." He whispered and tried to come out. He stopped again. It was like he couldn't move at all now. He fought around and avoided taht feeling and followed behind the Kits. He blended it good with the Darkness.

Kydinae looked around with a bored look, he stalked forward sniffing the air, once he caught the scent of other foxes he let out a snarl and changed directions, his light blue eyes flashed forward as he looked at the path he was headed. The brown kit could almost blend into his surroundings if he had not had all this annoying markings on him. He extended his claws stabbing them into the ground with each heavy step that he took. He stopped and opened his maw and took the scents in his eyes flashed around before he continued on. Coming upon a small stream he leaped onto a large rock and curled up closing his eyes his ears twitching back and forth picking up any sounds of the area he could.

Frenka quit after the two Kits scenting down another Fox aswell nearby. Ignoring the scent he carefully wandered to the river looking at the other foxes still. He examined them all noting down how many and what gender the foxes were in his mind. '2 males, 1 female, and 2 female Kits.' He thought. His blood red eyes gazed at them carefully if it wasn't for his Black-like fur he would've been spotted already. He took a drink from the river and than scented diwn the same scent he smelled comeing from the river. He looked up his eyes looked through the river and soon, He saw a figure on a rock now.

"This isn't late to me at all. The night is our time, in the Lunarie Tribe. I am Ari, one of the elders from there. And what about yourself?"
Ari rarely saw anyone outside the tribe who liked to spend time in the night. This one, then, was a curiosity, and had therefore caught Ari's attention.
Noise behind him made the elder turn, and he noticed two kits romping. He would wait to see if they came closer before addressing them. His large size might scare them.

Kydinae opened his eyes and looked ahead at Frenka, his tail began to beat on the rock as he watched his unwanted company, his ears moved forward as he continued to look at the other fox, whoever he was. This had been one of the foxes he caught the scent of, along with the three others who a couple of them seemed to be kits the other an adult. His light blue eyes narrowed the slightest bit but he remained where he was from hi spot on the rock.

Frenka watched the kit knowing aswell he didn't wnat company. Frenka was about to move away but stayed and sat watching the Kit. He hated Kit's alot but he somehow always liked to watch them for some odd reason. He looked at the Kit his Blood red eyes drifted across looking at the river than at the kit. All you could see of Frenka was his Red fur color that was almost everywhere on him. He fit well in the dark for stalking pray down or just to plain hide.

Kydinae's lips drew back into a slight snarl as his tail lashed softly, he stood up on his rock and sniffed the air before leaping down when his paws met the earth his claws dug into the soft soil. He shook his pelt out from the dirt and dust that he had collected from the rock.

Frenka watched the Kit he grinned now and seemed to collect himself and almost blended in perfectly in the dark not able to be seen barely. "Not friendly are we?" He said. Really, Frena was mocking the poor kit. He was never friendly towards kit ever. He would curse himself if he was ever friendly towards any Kits. Actually, He wasn't friendly towards anyone.

Kydinae let out a loud scoff as he looked towards Frenka, he could see the black and red fox's outline and he smirked slightly.
"Not in the least. And why should I when you are the one who came here?" He said, "It's like you are dying for attention." He mocked, maybe this old fox was getting the wrong idea about him. Well he would just have to set him straight wouldn't he?
