So, I recently bought Supernova. I was so excited because I love DDR almost more than I love my computer, and that's alot. xd
Anyway, I race home after I buy it, kick my brother off the tv and pop 'er in. I get everything set up and start up. The menu was all high tech, cool but that didn't mean much to me. I just play the regular arcade mode and there are like 10 songs. No big deal usually, but they all suck. -_- I try that mode where you can get points to buy stuff, but no luck. The goals are so retarded I couldn't bring myself to do it.
Now I'm went back to songs I like on the previous games. I'll get the patience one day to finish it, but until that day, its going to collect dust. gonk I should have waited til the price went down!

Meh. I gave up DDR a while back. I only played Supernova for a little bit when it came out in the acrade. But it had some decent songs. Extreme 2 was so friggin obnoxious for unlocking songs. You HAD to play beginner mode, and you couldn't mod. If Supernova is the same way for home version, then I know your pain. I just got my DDR-less friends and my older sister to play beginner songs and unlock them. :]

I thought Supernova was pretty good, it is annoying the way you have to unlock songs though. There are some really fun songs, like Xepher, which is one of my favorites biggrin

Yea, I really wasn't thrilled with the selection of songs for Supernova either, but I didn't play much of it. Just a bit while visiting a friend.

Eh, it's okay, it is a little confusing how to unlock new songs though...and in general, I like the old DDR games better...XP

It's okay. Some of the songs aren't too bad, but I wish they'd stop throwing stupid songs in there (Fall Out Boy and Cyndi Lauper? Not in DDR, please!) The whole quest thing with the planets is pretty neat, but the buying system annoyed me until it started working. Even now it still annoys me. *hugs her DDR Max2*

Ok this is what I have to say about that game IT SUCKS arse. The songs on there are somewhat ok. But I do have to say that the other DDR games have WAY better songs to dance to and the steps are alot more fun to do. I am a major DDR fan and to see this, it just makes me shamed...Why in the hell did they ever make this piece of dung heep like this?

Supernova is better, cause of the harder songs give me a challenge. Like Fascination Maxx

It has some good songs but they all basically must be unlocked. I did the Dance Mastermode crap. But I think playing for a lot of hours in Game Mode also unlocks them. Does anyone know if this is accurate or not? eek

I think it's good exercise xD but I kind of gave up because I can't seem to get enough points to get any new songs. It's so IRRITATING!!! Does anyone know how the point system works???

Fall out Boy, I can deal with cause I like that song and its pretty hard on difficult. But Cyndi Lauper?! Thats not even a real dance song. It was a bad song when it came out, putting it on DDR isn't going to make people like it. -_- As for the point system, the way I see it, you get a certain number of points for each step rating, like marevelous, perfect, ect. If you get too many boo's or almost's it won't get you jack for points. You would think that 150 perfects would out weigh like 20 boo's. stare

We had Fifth mix Korean version in our console at the arcade, which included all of 3 and 4 songs... I gotta say thats my favorite of all time.

They honestly could have done better; there are, like, 4 songs that I like on that game; just 4 SONGS!!!! normally I have a favorable 30 or 40; but 4 songs?! I really think that DDR is running out of good stuff; I mean DDR Ultimate for the Xbox came out after Supernova (as far as I know) and Ultimate has 70% bitchen songs. In fact one of the songs, Slam, is a song that is playable in Motor Storm for the PS3 (YAY!) But my over all opinion is that the DDR company is running out of good songs to use as simulations for the DDR steps.
