Just voicing a musing here, it may extend to a Theory in the proper sub-forum...eventually.
It can be generally agreed upon that the Universe houses more stars and planets than we normally comprehend, and thus the probability of there being Life out there is quite high indeed.
It makes one wonder what other tricks Evolution's been up to. Animals that exist out there that are a boon to silly human science, and then intelligent beings that evolved from said animals. And then their thought processes. Emotions. Actions. Beliefs. Secrets.
Now isn't that truly Unfathomable compared to what we try to unlock from within our very selves. And we aren't even sure what that is, are we?

I don't even know what you were trying to say, but I'm still pretty sure I agree with it.

I believe the last international seminar of Quantum Physics went somewhat like this.

If you're trying to say that there is a a lot of things that we don't know about the universe or elsewhere, I agree. So far mankind's "world" is this solar system and the occasional things we spot with our telescopes in other parts of space. Our world is what we know. Will we ever find something like you said, maybe. I can't be sure.

I agree that you agree with everything I disagree about except what I agree on.

I agree, with you, actually. I have a lot of fun (almost) trying to fathom the unfathomable of what other things evolution (or god knows what else) has cooked up in the universe. How they function, how totally different they might be from ourselves, and things. It really is very cool to think about, but it's also mind-boggling, and I know a lot of people that are very uncomfortable thinking about things like this. Those people just don't like moving out of their safety comfort zones of what they know, though...

Haha, to those who were confused I apologize, the post was out of desire to stimulate the forum a bit, and a product of late night theoretical thought. Yes, my point was that there is so much out there that we may never know, or that the laws of the universe may not hold true in the obscure reaches of that we cannot yet see. Not saying here that they don't, it's all mere speculation.

Yeah, trying to comprehend what we haven't discovered is bloody mind-boggling. I mean, I get headaches just wondering what the hell will come after "postmodernism". XD

Man, I see stuff like this, and my brain spots a thought hangover coming from miles away, and waves something shiny and vaguely related as a distraction. In this case, I'm now firmly ensconced in reminiscing about the awesomeness of Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy. You know, the first movie is coming out soon...hope it doesn't suck a**.
Ha, now you're on my tangent with me!
...Okay, unless you haven't read those yet. In which case, you have your marching orders.
