Hi! This is a guild to discuss peoples thoughts on the spooky little treestump, Garfakcy! He's my fav character and no one seems to talk about him so TA DA!

Truth be told, I think he's annoying. sweatdrop I mean, all he complain is wanted to be a youkai and cleaning. Even though he's annoying, I also think he's okay. I mean, without him, there won't be any excitement just like his battle against Thatz. Plus, Kharl will be having trouble finding his stuffs. sweatdrop

Jisen Meizuki Truth be told, I think he's annoying. sweatdrop I mean, all he complain is wanted to be a youkai and cleaning. Even though he's annoying, I also think he's okay. I mean, without him, there won't be any excitement just like his battle against Thatz. Plus, Kharl will be having trouble finding his stuffs. sweatdrop i don't understand why people keep saying he constantly says he wants to be a demon. they even say it in the info page in Dragon Knights but i've only seen him ask Kharl once!

Hello Imeeta!
Garfakcy is not my favorite character but there's so much we don't know about him! I keep wondering if Kharl found him as like one of the last inhabitants of Arinas, or if he picked him up somewhere else. And Kharl? With a human? How did that happen? Or more correctly, why? I just know there's a story somewhere...

It is true that we've seen Garfacky asked Kharl once about becoming a youkai. However, you can see how far and risk Garfacky went to become stronger and powerful. Besides, I think I remember him saying that being a human is weak or boring. sweatdrop

Well, either those pills of Kharl's not only stop Garfakcy from aging but also keeps him from growing older. XDD But if that's so then it's a good question where Kharl found such a malicious, little, creepy kid.
Or it is as it said on that site. They could have gotten it from the manga, as it is plublished in Shinshokan's WING magazine. Though then you need to know Japanese. XD; ... >_> *eyes her Japanese volumes* ..... I want the takubons (rereleases with new cover art) and volume 25.... I KNOW it's out in Japan. Argh. Damn it all. Perhaps even 26 is out? Hmn. >-<;
But back to Gar! =D He's a funny guy, in my opinion. ^^;;; But then again, I don't NOT like ANY character fromthis series. >_>; Seriously. XD; Ekidonna rules. I want. <3

Nadil, I have 25, and like the first 30 scans, with some of Sareh's translation notes. And it's awesome, by the way. My store says 26 is not out in Japan yet. At least, they can't order it, and looking at the last release date, they were thinking some time in September. I hope they're wrong...
Regarding Garfakcy... the interview Sareh found translated (correctly, we hope) indicated that he was going to end up with the 8 eight servants, as given him by Kharl.

I like Garfakcy. I like Garfakcy a lot. xD Have to admit, I disliked the little fella a lot in the beggining, but now I think he's awesome. Hey, he's one of the few charas that don't change his clothing! xD

I always wonder why Garfakcy stays with Kharl. He knows that Kharl isn't going to turn him into a demon so why does he stay with him? Loyalty?

OMFG, the CUTENESS! I do wonder about his backstory... My personal, and probably incorrect theory, is that he's always been a little on the psychotic side, and was a murderer, even as a young boy. Perhaps he was to be executed, and Kharl saved him, and took him in.
